Question, all the organisms in Decide’s faction are now individuals? Does that mean the ship is sentient? And if so it just chose to not give itself a name?

Yes they are and the ship is to some degree. I imagine it is much like a beast of burden though, with the conscious intelligence of a mule or something like that. It would have parts of its brain locked away from the “conscious” mind though for things like mathematics and plotting routes.

Holy Handgrenade Cal! I love your designs on the ship and on Deicides followers. You very efficiently convey the feeling, that the ship is alive, and crossing over a lot of Lostés boundaries :D

Thanks so much Tom, I’m glad you think so! I really wanted it to feel like what is left of Humanity is just as alien, if not more alien, than the actual aliens that Losté encounters on his travels.

Thanks Dominic! If you remember in the end of issue 2 when the Kraken is traversing the Flux universe, I dropped a little exposition dump explaining that many species across the galaxy harvest these exotic particles for use as a near inexhaustible fuel source. What you see in the abdomen of this creature in the cutaway is a crystalline Flux reactor.

Skiv, the Chantauri’s name is skiv. At some point losté will be like “So uh, we’ve always been tied up with stuff and I’ve been trying to get to grips with everything. I never asked your name?” Something like that.
