At long last, here it is folks!I had a lot of fun working on this one, it was a bit like when you’re a kid and you’re drawing stick-man wars, only a lot more elaborate.

Right so, the announcement! Coming out some time next month will be two new YouTube videos covering Humanity Lost. It will be a crossover project between the channels AZFK and Thought potato, two large YouTube channels that put out quality videos covering spec evo content among other things. So yeah, there’s that to look forward to. I’ll message them and see if I can get you all early access. But if not, their on their way!

Holy jeebus it's magnificent

Nick Cliffe

Firstly, that's amazing and would be great as a downloadable desktop (go on go on go on go on go on). Secondly, is it perverse that after a while I started looking for Wally?

Dominic Shea

The mention of stick man wars awoke a core memory for me. Great work as always mate!

CallumStephenDiggle

Does Patreon not allow you to download directly from the site? If not, just shoot me your email on a direct message and I’ll email you a high res version. No I think that’s entirely understandable, the correct response even haha

Haladrias

fantastic! i freaking love the detail in everything

Fruit hat

Are those plack dots coming out of the kraken bombs of some sort or locust that are just to far away

Patrick Perkins

Damn, what a stunning composition. Really amazing stuff dude—def going to watch the youtube videos too. The lore is my favorite part

Miningation

I see the Imperium tripod carrier you were talking about and how the tripods fold, they look like the Republic carrier gunships from Star Wars that drop AT-TEs.

Miningation

Also that four winged Imperium soldier looks really neat.

Alexander Carbo

Incredible!! This is one of those pieces where I’ll be playing iSpy with myself for a while 😆

Etowno

Are Uthpidus and members of his species related to humans somehow? Or do they just happen to look kinda similar?

Bruno Barrios

I spotted some Imperium assassin units that you showed a while back, that's pretty cool

Ryan

Holy shit, talk about sensory overload its like wheres Wally…. Hild up *looks again* I still can’t see Wally, this is absolutely epic

Max Fuller

Amazing work once again!

Max Fuller

I'm seeing a lot more green lasers than red lasers. This doesn't look good for the aliens.

Mann Tau

This is both pages, it is a 2 page spread. You can see it in the top and bottom center where the 2 pages don't exactly match up.

CallumStephenDiggle

It never goes well for those who oppose the Imperium, they are like a force of nature.

CallumStephenDiggle

Well spotted! This is two A4 pieces of paper stuck together so you can imagine how small I had to draw them.

CallumStephenDiggle

Yeah Uthipidus and his men are all Post Humans like the imperium but they are allied with Deicide instead.

CallumStephenDiggle

Haha good, spend a bit of time with the piece, I know I certainly did 😅

CallumStephenDiggle

Oh, this is pages 91 & 92 together. It’s a two page spread, sorry for the confusion.

CallumStephenDiggle

Not gonna lie that was the biggest inspiration haha I’m at the right age to have watched the prequels as they came out.

CallumStephenDiggle

Thanks so much Patrick! Yeah I’ve watched the Thought potato one already and it’s bloody phenomenal, he’s done a great job.

CallumStephenDiggle

Yeah that’s right they’re all Imperium dropships (locusts) just really far away.

CallumStephenDiggle

I’m glad you’re appreciating and spending a bit of time with it, it took a lotta time to complete 😅

Miningation

I assume a lot of other things are inspired too? There’s a series on Netflix called Alien Worlds or something that’s a bunch of documentary-style episodes about how life would evolve on other planets, and the Soeus kind of look like an alien species shown in episode 1.

Marcos

This is absolutely incredible. I have tried to do similar images before, the amount of detail and organization you need for this kind of work is huge. You are awesome. As a suggestion/opinion, maybe you could add some atmospheric perspective to realize easier how big are the ships at the back, at first I thought the big imperium ship was just close to the ceiling of the first building.

CallumStephenDiggle

Thanks a lot, Marcos! That’s a good idea, it’ll do a little touch up and add that in there, thanks for the constructive criticism! Update: I’ve made the edit ✍️

Marcos

Glad I could help. It looks awesome.

Ignis

Hats of to you, sir! This is fantastic!
