I have something very exciting to announce to you all soon, something physical that you can hold, but for now it will have to wait...

Hehehe Deicide goes Turtle Mode

game friends

I guess he is trying to defend the remainders of humanity, shell and all.

Thomas Rørby Petersen

Beautiful drawings! I really like Deicides strategic thinking here. He asks Uthipidus to shatter the energy source for Oughrighadd’s sword, knowing very well, that his own body will sustain massive damage. But it is the best option, as he is weakened by the loss of his arm. I imagine, that he will be able to heal/regenerate from most damages that doesn't destroy his head.

[excitement intensifies]

It was difficult for me to understand the 3 first panels. I thought he was turning around and the "clunk" didn't help me. Maybe you could use a little gaussian blur on the armor pieces? I don't know, I only understood because of B_Cubed comment, I apologize.

lixitrixi

Now don't get me wrong here...... I really like the design of Deicide's feet; it's really cool to see such a natural fusion of armor and biology

Rikkichet

Just watched Deicide turn into a pickle, funniest shit I've ever seen

This is a good summary. Yeah, when two Over-fathers go head to head it is all about strategy. Like playing a game of high speed explosive chess. It’s all about making a move to damage the other while also minimising damage to ones-self.

CallumStephenDiggle

These type of comments are helpful because as the artist, I’m sometimes too close to the piece and too inside of my own head. It’s really useful seeing things from an outsiders perspective, so thank you. I could add in some directional arrows in post production.

CallumStephenDiggle

I wasn’t going to take you wrong but now that you’ve said it… 😉😂 seriously though now, thanks mate, nice to see you really appreciating all the little design features.

CallumStephenDiggle

Haha exactly, would be a cool bit of sound design if HL were ever adapted for a movie or a show

Miningation

No way you’re doing a galactic Union assault ship giveaway? And we can get the keys?!?

soapdish

You can't tell me about an upcoming physical copy and expect me to wait patiently.

Isaac Solar

So........ one day Deicide just decided to become..... 𝐓𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐥𝐞?

Philip

Wow,so that is just his mask and he has normal face under it.

Miningation

Yes. The same goes for every Overfather.

Ryan

I’d like to brag that I already know hehehe, awesome page yet again dude

CallumStephenDiggle

Yeah that’s correct, all Overfathers look very similar underneath their uniquely adorned bio armour.
