The Living Wave reminds me of Theo Jansen's strandbeest kinetic sculptures. But like a kind of living, biological herd of them, endlessly crawling the desert. A niche these organisms were forced into in order to survive in a dying world. Love it! Also, the design of the imperium invasion ships is so cool! And the writhing, infinite sea of the All Mother's eyes, constantly watching her creations from a billion viewpoints. So many things to like about this series.

Yes exactly, they were based off Theo’s creations. Thanks so much Virgil, I’m glad to hear that you’ve found lots that you like in my series ☺️

Just joined recently, and I’m blown away by the quality and attention to detail in the art! I’ve spent hours admiring it, and I keep finding more intricacies. I can’t wait to see how your style has evolved in later issues. Also, and I hope I’m not nitpicking here, but what is the small semi-circle line on the speech bubble in the first frame of the 2nd page (not including cover page)? I kept thinking there was a hair on my screen, haha!

I think you had just started consolidating when I came onboard. Not a grey beard but it’s been fun watching this grow. Looking forward…as always…to more.

Mateusz Kowalewski

I joined in just before complete issue 1. Fantastic workshop and story.

B_Cubed

I came in right after you finished making the first issue. Can’t wait to see where the story goes!

Cartoon dinosaur

congrats man I hope you feel good after completing this!!!

Miningation

I think I joined just before issue 2 was complete, or maybe a bit after.

2026-09-18 21:00 Kick ass, man. I'm gonna have to reread again starting at Issue 1. Done it several times already. It's one of the most compelling science fiction stories I have read in some time. Keep it up! When it gets an epic movie anthology, I'll be spending my money to watch them in theaters! EDIT: Was just thinking, Netflix is in dire straits at the moment, but how badass would it be if you could get this turned into a Netflix Original Series? They practically onboard anything nowadays, but it would complement their other shows too, like Squid Game, Stranger Things, etc. Would be cool to see. SECOND EDIT: Who would you cast for Loste?

Yes, sir! Along for the ride! I started reading before they got to Newg

Thanks so much Richard, that’s lovely of you to say, I’m really glad you’re enjoying my work. Ahaha I appreciate the support! Yeah this is true, I don’t even know how I’d approach them to be honest, they must get so many proposals a day. Hmm let’s see, probably Sammi Rotibi would be would be my first choice but he might be getting a bit old now, maybe dean thomas from Harry Potter? I think he could play the roll well.

CallumStephenDiggle

Oh it’s going to feel monumental! I’ve spent such a long time making this first book, but it has been a great time. I can’t wait to see it on book shelves and in peoples hands.

CallumStephenDiggle

You’ve been here since the very start then, incredible! Thanks so much for being with me on this journey.

CallumStephenDiggle

That’s amazing, we’ve come along way. I always see you in the comments section, you have such a great insight into the world of Humanity Lost, to the point that you answer other Patreons questions before I get to them haha thanks for that!

CallumStephenDiggle

And one hell of a ride it has been. That’s a long time! Thanks so much for being here.

Is it pronounced "New - G" or "Newg"? I always read it as New-G but realised just now there's no hyphon.

CallumStephenDiggle

Yeah it’s all one quick word, say it like you’d say newt but with a G at the end instead of a T.
