It feels like things really slowed down there for a moment, sorry guys. I went into super high detail mode with two two-page spreads one after another, but I’m going to switch up the pace with the following pages now that the scene and threat is fully established. Get ready for some high octane action.

Also just a little update regarding the publishing of volume one, you’ll be pleased to know that talks are going really well! We’re onto the final stages where we’re hammering out a deal, so I can’t imagine it’s going to be too much longer before I can announce something major 🤞🏻

Holy fucking Bingle, just HOW MUCH PIERCING DO THOSE LASERS HAVE!??

Rohan Sinha

Amazing work! I can’t wait to see what you do next.

Rohan Sinha

There’s one thing I’m curious about, are those building made of concentric circles (the ones that look like human termite mounds) an old style of architecture or a new style?

Logan

If the Thought-Lords are this strong I can't wait to see what else the All mother has in store.

CallumStephenDiggle

They are indeed based on Termite “architecture”. Not quite concentric circles, more like an extremely large skyscraper with multiple hollow areas within it. It’s based off the plethora of “eco cities” concept art that was coming out circa late-2010’s.

Rohan Sinha

Cool, I feel like these were 3D printed rather than built. When did these first start appearing, on the Moon or on Earth?

Jesse James

They are really trying to kill him.

CallumStephenDiggle

That’s the idea, yes. It’s logical that they were built on Earth first but there was a drastic increase in scale on the moon because of the potential 1/16th Earth gravity provided.

Rohan Sinha

That makes sense. Thanks for answering all my questions!

Charlie Horse

The beams are as powerful as Shin Gojira

Meggie

I can't tell you how excited I am for the publishing of Volume One. Is there a waitlist I can get on?

Davide

like always you surpassed yourself with this page Stephen, don't worry of the time request for the drawings and best wishes with the publisher

CallumStephenDiggle

Aw that’s great to hear ☺️ Not as such, I think you’ll be able to pre-order it though in the future and that’ll help me out with the sales data.

Meggie

I am not trying to be greedy but I would like to order more than just one copy, perhaps three. Do you think this will be possible?

Lukak

I’m so happy that the publication talks are going on, and, if I may, I’d have a suggestion for the physical release: I’ve seen that here on patreon you’ve often given snippets of lore and world-building in the descriptions and in response to various questions the viewers have asked, so I thought it would be cool, for things that aren’t specifically stated in the comic, to have like a glossary or some footnotes to the pages to really enhance the beautiful setting and universe you have created. Anyways as the rest of the comic I love the colours! they really make of this comic a real masterpiece.

Erika Spooner

I just realized that if the beam weapons are this powerful the Imperium back on Chiron must be playing fruit ninja but with buildings. Also, who do you think would win, an Overfather or Captain America with no use of psionic powers?

CallumStephenDiggle

Haha yes, they don’t stand much of a chance unfortunately, Chiron has almost certainly fallen. I’m enjoying this line of verses questions 😂 I’d probably say that they’re pretty evenly matched, Cap has the advantage of mobility and speed, whereas the Over-Fathers have armour and natural weaponry in the form of spikes all over their body. So I’m going to back my guy.

CallumStephenDiggle

Thanks Lukak, I’m going to do exactly that! I’ve got a bunch of info that I’m going to put into the back pages of the volume, each alien is going to have a section of their own with a big lore dump. Are there any specific questions you’d like answering, or that have already been answered that you’d like to see included? You’re too kind, thank you ☺️

Lukak

Hmm, I suggested this since I’ve been following K6BD of Abbadon for a while and loved the lore snippets he adds under the his comic’s pages, obviously it’s a different genre but I think a more in depth view at the technologies used(like the giant lakes on the moon) and to dates and names referring to the foundation of places (like nweg or the lava tube city) would suit your comic very well.

CallumStephenDiggle

Ah yes, I own the first three volumes of kill six billion demons, but I havent gotten round to reading them yet, I’ll be sure to so I can check out what you mentioned. I have plans to do an info graphic timeline and also to do a proper detailed map of the Orion arm with little snapshots from different worlds. I’ll consider doing the moon stuff that you mentioned also. If you think of any more, just drop another comment here or anywhere 👍🏻

Erika Spooner

Your right. I've been thinking about how the All-Mother made this kind of biotechnology viable. She must have made it more robust to compare to nonalive technology of other species. I wonder how powerful the bug-like exosuits are, I would not be surprised if their bulletproof.

CallumStephenDiggle

It’d imagine the Over-Father armour is made up of a layer of chitin, then protective jel, then another layer of advanced ceramics and then a mesh of psionic enhancing technologies. Definitely bullet proof!

Charlie Cowdery

Yup, thats being set as my desktop background.
