someone's not happy their safety is in the hands of an Overfather

Gabu

That’s my guess too

Gabu

I like how, despite the technology, a bat with a nail in it still is a riot 😆

MO PO

damn I love that detail

Erika Spooner

There was no way there wouldn't be riots over one of the most powerful Imperium units joining the Conglomerate. How do you think alien civilians are doing during the war and what are they thinking? Are some trying to build ships to leave to an entirely different part of the galaxy to escape the Imperium?

Fire_Warrior22

I don't know if you changed this in the lore or not, but I still feel like I should point out that when we compare the map shown in this page and the map of the orion arm, it seems that here you put the Gordian symbol in the territory belonging to the Kolaxan Empire in the map of the orion arm

Isaac Young

Seems deicide has a protest or two that needs to be put down, or will he kill them with kindness I wonder with a hearts and hands approach very interesting.

Isaac Young

It’s universal at this point

CallumStephenDiggle

Of course, it just makes sense. There are no doubt riots broke out over Belfasts existence too, with him being an A.I. of Human origin and all. I think it must be hard keeping your population in check during all of this, I imagine this is only exacerbated on the worlds closer to imperium territory. There are definitely those trying to flee, their best bet would most likely be generation ships so that they can live long term on the ship whilst they search for a suitable new home. This would most likely be done through private enterprise though as I don’t see the Conglomerate, the Gord, or the Kolaxan empire wanting to bleed population numbers that could be used for the war effort and the running of their respective civilisations. Perhaps local authoritarian governments are necessary closer to the border with the imperium, perhaps the heavy hand of the state shuts down private interstellar transport projects.

CallumStephenDiggle

Dude you’re right 🤦🏻‍♂️ I’ll make the edit, thanks for pointing that out!

CallumStephenDiggle

Naturally these people do not want to be ruled over by a member of who they see as their greatest enemy. Deicide is clever though, he’ll figure this out 🧠

Isaac Young

Ah yes of course I didn’t think he’d directly be ruling over people of the conglomerate I thought him and fliegrigel would be more of a client state to the conglomerate and only really exert authority in a military capacity in order to avoid situations like this. But I see this isn’t the case they needed to be direct rulers likely for logistics reasons is my guess

Davide

A riot? What Is the cause? Racism towards the posthumans enemies of the Imperium? I'm very curious

Gabu

The Yarkeen know how yo make a point! 😆 he he
