Important update for APPLE / iOS users from Nov. 2024 onward (Patreon)

First, I want to be clear about one thing: this will not impact existing memberships at all!

Apple is requiring that Patreon use their in-app purchasing system and remove all other billing systems from the Patreon iOS app by November 2024. This means that starting in November, new memberships purchased in the iOS app will be subject to Apple's 30% App Store fee.

Apple's App Store fee only applies to new memberships purchased in the iOS app beginning in November 2024. So if you're already my member now (up until Nov. 2024) you won't be charged extra. But if you become a member again with the iOS Patreon app, you will be charged extra. I, nor Patreon, can do anything about this. Apple just tries to squeeze money out of everything they can. I'm not willing to pay this to them.

HOT TIP!

If you're also not, but you have an iPhone, you can also choose to become a member through your computer and the regular Patreon website. You'll have to use your browser on your phone to watch there, but in that way you won't be charged extra. www.Patreon.com/ASMRtists

I'm very sorry about this and wish I had influence, but I don't.
