Let your spoilers fly lol. Just wanted to let you guys know, we stayed up late to finish last night. Editing starts tonight, should have an episode by the end of day tomorrow! I may do watch alongs for the last couple episodes, but I also may just do super extended cuts with most footage included. Early to mid next week once they’re all done and posted we’ll be doing a big end of show livestream, take questions, ask you guys questions, rank characters, and watch some random YouTube stuff you guys have wanted us to 😂 Got a nice steady flow of Shows and Movies planned to start afterwards (obviously House of the Dragon will finally be upon us!) We’ll talk about all that next week, but the next 4 videos will be the final GOT and of course Midnight Mass Monday 💜🫡

Don't come for me😂 but I went full mad King when I watched Dany burn Kings Landing. I was yelling "Burn them all." Dany wanted to break the wheel.... Kings Landing was the wheel. She wasn't the "mad queen" as many tried to call her, but someone who had everything taken from her. From her parents and siblings, to Khal Drogo and her baby, to Ser Barristan and Viserion, Jorah, Rhaegal and Missandei. It was grief and anger, not madness. Anyone, I cannot wait to see your reaction.😂

I personally think the most “bittersweet” ending would have been Gendry on the throne at the end.. Series starting and ending with a Baratheon on the throne.. Plus an amazing character arc for his character.. Also Jaime should have 1000% killed Cersei..

Game of thrones just ended how it started! Arya is uncle Ben, who is traveling. Sansa is Ned stark, ruling the north. Danny is her father the Mad king. Jon snow is Maester Aemon targaryen, heir to the iron throne but with no desire to rule!! There I said it!! You welcome!! ☺️☺️❤️

i will always love got and it was so special watching it live from beginning to end in real time but that being said it’s truly remarkable how d&d managed to take such a beloved show (and certain characters) and ruin them so quickly and with such disregard to anything that had happened previously in the story those men are never to be trusted ever again

I didn’t hate the concept of the ending. Just hated that they rushed to get to that point. Like all that story telling and the details from seasons past were thrown out the window just to hurry up and be done with it because the producers of GoT wanted to move on to other projects cause they’re heads got too big. Where are they now!??

I personally don’t hate the type of ending it was like Daenerys madness arc and Bran as king however the way they rushed it absolutely destroyed it like those types of arcs need time and development that the writers just didn’t deliver. Then the amount of plot armour and just stupidity of certain things like your telling me, GREY WORM, would not kill Jon after that?? or Drogon? People say it’s a Targaryen thing but that was his mother and his rider. Deepest connection of all. And Grey Worm was so loyal, even after everything dany did. Also to me these last two seasons are just a mess, so much inconsistency in the world and writing and the fact that Cersei was like the final boss. The white walkers were teased for years as the great threat only to die in one episode.

You get to see behind the scenes stuff from production, costume, hair and makeup and even follow an extra that was there from the start. YOU GUYS DEFINITELY WANT TO WATCH THAT! It’s super good for closure! It’s called ‘The Last Watch’

I have seen how Cersei and Jamie died and I DETEST that she almost got what’s seen as a romanticized death. With her “love” in death, together. Hell no, it should have been brutal and that was not it.

If Bran can see the future he let kings landing burn so that he could be king. The writers having Dany go “crazy” just so Jon could kill her is misogynistic. I do love seasons 1-6, 7 was good, and it overall was a great show with an out of character ending. HOTD definitely revamped my enjoyment of this world and it is a very good show

I was so angry with how they ended it (being a book reader to a unfinished story) I never thought Dani would have become her father, but re-watching with you guys it's made me realize .. yes, she fucking would have and who could have blamed her, everyone she love and trusted died or failed her and her only trump card was Drogon and burning it all but I still agree with the lack of give a shit with many characters. Only saving grace to the ending was the fight between the hound and the mountain, least they gave us that. Can't wait for you to watch House of the Dragons:)

🙄in my personal opinion how it ended was completely shit . The two biggest things that pissed me off was cersis death. Idk care how ✌🏻poetic ✌🏻it was , she deserved a brutal and satisfying death for how much of a monster she was threw out the season s . She got such an easy way out with the writing. 2nd …REALLY BRAN?! BRAN AS FUCKING KING?? That has to be the stupidest choice of writing I’ve ever seen. I do t give a shit if is the raven he literally barely did anything the hull 8 seasons in general let alone to deserve to be king. In fact his character story had to be the weakest of them all to the point it was pointless . Literally everything would still be moving forward as a story without him when it comes to how he was written. Probably was written waaaaayyy better in the books is my guess . But from show writing the writers sucked! You can’t convince me him being king of all kings in the end made ANY sense and DESERVED…..

There is an awesome podcast called Game of Thrones season 8 Redux. No one was paid, just a lot of lovers of the show re-doing the season the way they felt it should end. It is really worth while and the ONLY spoilers i will say is that Bran does worg into a dragon (as you hoped) and Aryia does her face magic to be one of the main characters. I’m sure I’m spelling those wrong.

I remember when the show first aired, people were losing their shit over how Dani supposedly went crazy without warning. Except she didn't. She had been threatening to burn cities since season 2, and the reason why people didn't take it seriously was because she was just a girl with no army and two small dragons. She had been committing acts of cruelty since the early seasons of the show, and people gave her a pass, because they agreed with her choice of victim. The point isn't that they deserved it, though. The point is that she had the capacity for cruelty ever since she watched her brother get himself killed, and it wasn't taken seriously because she was righteous, a crusader, she killed people that were generally disliked and she was "just a girl", something the show points out repeatedly, not just for her, but for every female character from Arya to Cersei to Dani, hell, even to Brienne of all people. It's a misogynistic world they live in and the writers played off the audience's own internalized misogyny to make the turn seem unexpected when in fact the signs were always there and there was a 7 season slide which culminated in the loss of her friends and her children, and the realization that it had all been based on the lie that she was wanted and needed in Westeros. The writers didn't do her dirty, they did what they had been doing since Ned lost his head.
