not this thumbnail sending me into a ptsd spiral

Ry.Blair

THIS EPISODE is why Dany snapped, and why I fully supported her in the next episode🔔

Itss_NattyJ

Omg, your Stark cloaks. 🐺 You actually look like you both took the Black.

Jason Cascante

LITERALLY JUST GOT HOME WITH LUNCH YOU ARE PERFECT CODY

AG

lmao at you calling Bran broken, that’d make for a terrible nickname

Abraham Lever

I really wish the Starbucks cup was still there for you guys to see…

Kendra Muah

Honestly this episode had me fooled. I thought nothing could possibly get worse, then it did.

Fonzee

Flying thousands of feet in the air, can't see a fleet of enemy ships...

Space Crow

yeah past this point is where the show starts making some weird choices its still one of my favorite shows ever but last season was all over the place

Joseph LeRoy

She should've conquered the kingdoms like Aegon and with time she could've earned the love and respect after being the queen. Especially after defeating the dead.

MJ Eid

im happy with the way this show ended. Alot of peoples problems with the last season come from hearing other people talk about how much that they hate it. I watched the last season before i heard how much people hated it and i thought it was decent and believable how it ended. I just hated Jamie's character arch.

Ray H

It all feels logical to me what comes next. It’s not what anyone wanted though. This was my least favorite episode of any season mostly cuz my baby Rhaegal died. I love watching King’s Landing get torched next episode however.

Pam Nail

Lord, how the fandom lost their MINDS at Jon not hugging Ghost goodbye when he left Winterfell.

entendencia

I hate Sansa. She’s been a total bitch

Abraham Lever

Also one of my favorite dumb things about this episode is the meeting discussing numbers after the battle. We see the Dothraki basically wiped out the episode before, but then magically half of them are still alive….makes no sense

Marcos Paulo

Bran doesn't want anything anymore? Right...

mya

So some fun facts for the chat. and also I love when people comment on the music because one of my favorite parts of the show is Ramin Djawadi's musical scores and Missandei's last words are one of the best words I've ever heard, one of the most innocent characters and caring characters and her last word's essentially being a call for war is perfect. But fun facts, Cremation was not only a wildling custom of funeral rituals but also a Targaryen way ( by dragon fire) Which to me is just another nod to the fact that a Targaryen was meant to defeat the White walkers. Like the three things that kill white walkers are Valyrian Steel, Dragon Glass and Fire. The Targaryen's are originate from Valyria, Dragonstone was on top of dragon glass and used it to decorate weapons AND the last one which I don't really have to explain is fire, Targaryen's got both dragon fire and wildfire. Then the Targaryen's having this mystical purpose would give us a reason why Daenerys after over a hundred years suddenly birthed dragons. I honestly just needed that Jon VS the Night King fight so bad; I was waiting for it. Also I'm watching your reaction as im typing and realized such a big inconsistency. Varys said Robert was a bad king because he did not want to be king, then here he said Jon would be a better king cause he doesn't want it. I am cool with Jon being king but that Varys writing is um..

jaeideun

i’m 10 toes behind my girl dany!

Kate

I’m still, almost 5 years in, so offended by rhaegals death. So offended.

Marcos Paulo

Hagrid: Shouldn't have said that. I'm dying. 🤣

The hell with king’s landing, burn them all

Karen Cribb

Are Danny and John in love? It’s seems to me if she were in love with him…her first reaction to the news that he is not a bastard would be basking in that news, congratulating , hugging, kissing him and telling him how happy she is for him. It seems if you were really in love…those things mentioned above would gush out of you beyond your control for the object of your affection. Got none of that from Danny. Not a drop.

Alexander

alfie allen who plays theon is a really good actor did such a amazing job playing theon

Lina Marshall

Waiting on “The Bells” then I’m going DRACARYS 🔥🐉 with my comment I stand with.. Daenerys of the House Targaryen, the First of Her Name, The Unburnt, Queen of the Andals, the Rhoynar and the First Men, Queen of Meereen, Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, Protector of the Realm, Lady Regent of the Seven Kingdoms, Breaker of Chains and Mother of Dragons”.

Thrashifice

In the words of the writers "Danny kind of forgot about Euron's fleet." Yeah, okay.....

Kayla

I support Daenerys wholeheartedly...fuck King's Landing xD

Gylfie

I fucking agree, burn them all.

Abraham Lever

Love how Jamie just took 3-4 seasons of character development and just throw it all out in the garbage

Laura Thornley

There's literally only one shot from the last three episodes I like. I genuinely think the rest of it is abysmal. You can tell the showrunners just wanted it over with by that point - and quite why they weren't replaced with someone who cared is a question that will likely never be answered.

Katy Rawlins

I actually loved the ending. Wish it had been more episodes. But, still loved the outcomes.

daeornight

Your gonna have to get used to the incest because holy fuck is there a lot HOTD. You know, Targaryen's on their Valyrian shit.

daeornight

Ahh, the greatest redemption arc in the history of tv ruined because the showrunners said, "Fuck this shit, we're done!" I will forever refuse Jaime leaving for Cersei and pray that George will keep the version of Jaime in the books, someone who begins to abhor her.

Akshay Kumar Reddy

The 2 wildings standing beside Tormund are the show-runners Dan and David in the scene where he is appreciating Jon Snow for riding the dragon

Emily Rose

my biggest complaint about this ep is how did they get Missandei when she was on the same boat as Grey Worm? One of the saddest moments and Rhaegal dying :(

Dana (Dah-Nah)

there are only two times where i have BAWLED my eyes out at a character death and this was one of them (Missandei, not the dragon although that was also very sad)

Trevor LaPointe

Cannot wait for these next 2 episodes, steady checking here everyday for them.

I know you've already seen everything... what Danny does in chapter 5 is unforgivable, no matter how much he has lost it cannot be justified. In season 7 I just thought "but why doesn't he go after Cercei with the 3 deagons and all the armies (and without scorpions) he didn't need to kill anyone" but no, they followed a pointless pattern. kings landing is close to rocadragon, it wouldn't have taken anything. Instead, they make a detour to casterly rock. Mr. Varys, who knew everything, suddenly knows nothing about Euron's fleet. Thanks to Tyrion, they lose the Iron Islands, Alto Jardin and Dorm, even so, Danny continues to pay attention and burns all the supplies, although hey, at least there are less Lanister left. Even with all this, Tyrion continues to insist on not going after Cercei and it occurs to him to go beyond the wall, where Danny loses the first dragon, because Tyrion continues to think (knowing it is a lie) that Cercei is good and is going to help them. ...with all this they go to Winterfell (remembering that Danny helped before John made her his queen) and they are received badly, fatally. No northerners really know the dead, otherwise they would have welcomed the dragons and Danny with a party not like they did. Northerners are loyal, but only to their own. They are closed and hostile. Danny finds out about Jon and asks him not to say anything. everyone gets angry about that. In the west, if you are a woman, they don't want you on the throne, especially if there is a man before, the mess was assured. If Jon doesn't want the throne, what's the point of telling it? That Sansa told about Jon only influences Varys, Danny would have burned Kings Landing even if Jon didn't exist. because he burned it because he tried to do it right and there was no way, so he said, screw everything, I have a weapon of destruction, I'm going to use it. I hope you saw that varys is trying to poison her. I love varys but if anyone tries to poison the queen they must die, and he promised them that too. It's the only thing I justify. Besides, Danny hadn't done anything yet and was already dethroning her, he wasn't going to trust her again... Anyway, the disaster is such that Danny is not seen again in the entire episode and the bitch Cercei dies from a brick 😡. When Danny starts burning everything I only feel bad for Tyrion, his disappointed face is... what a great actor! As for the end... I better not even give an opinion.

Yall can blames the writers for dialogue, for speed travel, for incontenuity (sp?), but you can't blame them for major plot points. Remember, GRRM told them how it ends before he left the show. This is his ending. His Shakespearean tragedy. He told us long ago through Ramsey that if we thought this would have a happy ending, we weren't paying attention. I personally think that the characters that remained alive were where they should be and where they would be happiest. Even if we didn't think so.

Jessica Houser

You look great! I want one of those cloaks! Love the reaction! Thank you!

Chanty Doodles

Also guys, can't blame Jon for not petting Ghost in awhile. That's on the writers who let Ghost down. Ghost deserved so much better and Jon because he has always been great with Ghost and saw him as MORE than just a Pet. Hence letting him wonder and be free like Nymeria. Ghost is like Jon who also wanted to be going north of the wall remember. Just like Arya is like Nymeria, no longer a lady Stark, she's never been that like she said to Ned & Nymeria "No, thats not me"... " That's not you" Jon has also wanted Ghost to remain with him when he went off north but Ghost wandered off on his own despite Jon calling him to stay with him & few rangers he was with b4 meeting Ygritte.

It's so hard to watch reactions to these episodes. People just dogpile on Dany and read in the worst of intentions with no justifiable reason and it's hard not to chalk that up to unconscious bias. "Jon just SEEMS like a King." Yeah, I because he's a man and we're very willing to infer leadership qualities in a man despite the fact that Jon has repeatedly proven that faith wrong (the only group he's successfully led is the wildlings but he leads them by not actually leading them at all). But Dany acts very queenly by simultaneously honoring a hero, building good faith and loyalty with a potential ally, and diplomatically putting to bed an age old feud between Baratheon and Targaryan and we're just like "man, I thought she was going to ruin the mood," "she undercut Jon," "that was sneaky..." The second she starts being a little more (reasonably) defensive and aggressive because someone else suddenly allegedly has a better claim to the throne (literally ONLY because he's a man--not even a child of the last King like Dany) we just ignore all of the good she's done, the kindness she's shown, the restraint she's demonstrated, the good will she's earned over the whole show and make her out to be an untrustworthy pariah. There's just no way for me to watch that happen and not feel like it's so unfair and based in unconscious biases...

SierraNicole

Jamie going back to Cersei made perfect sense to me and was a way better story for him than staying with Brienne. Cersei and Jamie were two heads of the same monster in this show and the way they're bound despite all of the toxicity and trauma and horror that's caused was a central theme of the whole story. The writers got that one right. Also, I think Bron handled Tyrion and Jamie in a way that really made sense. Remember when Tyrion had Slynt sent to the Wall for killing all of Robert's bastard children including a baby in the brothel? Tyrion made Bron head of the King's Guard then and asked him "If I asked you to kill a baby, would you do it without question?" Bron answered "Without question? No. I'd ask how much." I think that was a really clear statement of his bottom line. Money, lifestyle, survival are really the factors that drive him. More than any other conceptions of good or justice or loyalty. Money and position are his ultimate motivations. Him turning on all of the Lannisters for a payday is very Bron. And, in the context of the show, I'm not mad at him for it. Obviously, that's not the hallmark of a good person, but at least he's consistent and generally does the right thing if it doesn't cost him anything.

Cramdeon1969

So I'm in the minority. I did not HATE the ending, but I understood why people were upset. For me, it didn't change how amazing I thought the Series was.

Mickey Ross

okay im so glad at y’all defending dany, bc i’m a dany apologist for life. i love sansa but i feel like she’s been so bitter towards dany that she didn’t even consider that dany might make a wonderful queen. also love arya and the hounds bond so much. and jon and dany would’ve been so cute if they didn’t make them related 😭

Erin Black

I feel the saddest when I have to see these Dragons get injured and killed, because they did not ask to be turned into War Machines. It hurt me to see Grey Worm's face when Missandei's head got cut off. And, screw you Jaime, for hurting Brienne. Their love story was one of a kind. The reason Jon would make a good King, is because he would give up his crown for the good of his people. He isn't about that "Bend the Knee" crap. Daenerys burned people alive, because they were following oaths that they had already sworn, crucified people, and so on and so on. From Season 1, all she has cared about was the crown. Yeah, she freed slaves, but some of those slaves' lives were made worse. I have seen her descent into madness for many Seasons. There is a reason that her Father was the Mad King. Jon truly has honor, and that is why I respect him. He is not perfect, but if he had found out that someone besides him was the Heir to the Throne, he would not have thrown a tantrum like her. Daenerys killed people for breaking the rules, but she also broke rules. She was supposed to go luve out her life with the rest of the Khalasar Widows, and she did not. And, she did not even let her soldiers rest after the Battle of Winterfell. She was too bloodthirsty for that crown. The only reason she ga e Gendry a Lordship, was so he didn't contest being the Heir to the Throne later. I mean, shd shpuld have given the man a Lordship just for making that tremendous amount of armor that helped save the World. Sansa was right for not wanting to bend the knee. The North is big, they finally got it back, and when someone "Bends the Knee", they then have to do whatever the Queen or King says forever. If Sansa was the United States, that is like asking her to "Bend the Knee" to Germany or Russia in major times of War, knowing they have Nukes and A Bombs that they will launch on you, if you break your oath to them later. You guys make great reactions. *R.I.P., Rhaegal & Missandei* *Safe Journeys, Ghost* I really wish your Daddy would have given you a kiss, and a bunch of belly scratches and rubs before he left, especially since you just lost an ear fighting of Wights. 🥺 🌊🐉 🛶🛶🛶🛶🛶🏰🦂🏹🐎🐺⚔️🏔🤰🙂‍↔️🧙‍♂️😭☠️🤬💔🖤

Alba

I think you missinterpreted, Tyrion didn't say she wasn't evil. He said she wasn't a monster, big difference. I still don't like her of course but he was right on that.

KaosDragon

im guessing y'all are gonna change up on your support/understanding for Daenerys here in the next 2 episodes, but man is it refreshing to see reactors actually understand everything Dany is losing while being here in Westeros, even tho this whole season feels super rushed. I would've burned it all down too, but i dont think she will in the books

Rafael

I love the capes hahaha I love your reactions you guys are funny and sweet keep it up! <3
