Warlock Preview #4 - Versatile Magic & Consuming Flames (Patreon)

Scythes and wands are misunderstood weapons to most, but not to the Warlock. Versatile Magic makes the Warlock into a veritable Swiss-army knife, allowing them to mimic a Scout's maneuverability or Warrior's melee skills. No matter how you hold them, scythes increase your agility; giving speed while held in the offhand or granting haste in your main hand. Wands instead strengthen your body; giving resistance in the offhand or strength in the main hand. Combine these powerful tools to get whichever buffs you want, while still triggering Warlock's mighty magical skills.While scythes are vicious, there's nothing better than a wand for channeling magic. Consuming Flames will allow you to drain the might from your enemies. Crouching and right-clicking with a wand will ignite and weaken mobs nearby. Zombies and spiders will bounce right off you, their fists and fangs weakened with your magic as they burn to death. Upgraded, even more enemies will be affected by your firey burst and you also become temporarily immune to fire, letting you ignore the attacks of even the largest swarms.

Versatile Magic Level 1 : Holding a scythe in your off hand gives you Speed. Holding a wand in your off hand gives you Resistance.

Level 2 : Holding a scythe in your main hand gives you Haste. Holding a wand in your main hand gives you Strength.

Consuming FlamesLevel 1 : Crouching while right-clicking with a wand weakens and ignites nearby enemies for 7s.

Level 2 : The blast radius is increased by 40%. You also gain Fire Resistance for 7s.
