About to watch and I am *very* curious what the disclaimer is about... did you drool a little when you saw what Ivy was wearing? I guess we'll find out!

Ryan

...did not expect it to be Batman rubbing Catwoman's feet that caused the disclaimer. Allegedly the show runners wanted him to be doing... something else, but the DC executives refused. "Superheroes don't do that."

Mr. Waspman

Sorry you had to witness that opening scene. I did not expect to learn that Batman likes feet. The show runners were going to have him do... something else, but one of the DC executives stepped in and told them "Superheroes don't do that." Thank God. Batman and Catwoman usually are either kinda flirty with each other or have an actual relationship going on in most DC stories, but I definitely wasn't expecting that scene.

Joey Quixote

So, that scene was supposed to be more... graphic. In that what was implied to be going on, was actually going on. But someone at DC struck it down. Saying that "heroes don't do that." Every woman I've spoken to on the matter has begged to differ. This was the episode that turned me around A BIT on Kiteman. Ivy was clearly with him for some reason. Not exclusively because she was burying her feelings for Harley. But you see through Ivy and Golden Glider that Chuck has some... endearing qualities. They both saw him as not all bad and there were aspects of him that were likable. To that end, I'm happy that he didn't just fuck off and rot after Ivy dumped him. The breakup was good for him! He actually started putting in the effort! Good for him! And yeah, as a guy, will vouch. The bar is reeeeally low for us. It basically boils down to "Don't be shitty". And that's part of where the "nice guy" neckbeard culture comes from. Dudes infuriated that they did the bare minimum and still didn't get laid. It is... SO much more than that, kiddies. If you really think she's special, then treat her special. Bare minimum ain't gonna cut it.

JHB

Really, when the set-up is Ivy saying "We're guests, so we'll respect your stuff", you just KNOW what Harley will do immediately after as the punchline.

JHB

Now we're all scarred with the mental image of Mosco putting her feet up... into Batman's hands. Hamish, Elijah: Emergency treatment, STAT!

BlueEyedRaven

Honestly, I'm surprised the Faberge egg lasted long on the edge of that couch with all those cats around.

That was indeed from this show, and is hilarious when you consider that the season opened with Harley and Ivy watching their own porn parody and what happens in... other episodes this season.

Can’t wait for Elijah to comment on one of your videos also I really wanna know which guys hurt you cause they fucking suck. Anyways it’s for the better cause I’m so happy you and Elijah found each other. 🏳️‍🌈

Mr. Waspman

The bar is indeed super low for us guys, even though it really shouldn't be. I know a few who are held to high standards in a relationship, becausethey put in the effort. They how specialtheir partners are. And it's embarrassing how many assholes and "Nice guy" incels are out there making us look like we can only do the bare minimum. And any guy who thinks they barely have to try absolutely sucks.

Mr. Waspman

I'm glad Kiteman found happiness after calling off the wedding. I like how we see his more endearing qualities through Ivy and Golden Glider, and that he wasn't resentful towards Ivy or Harley in any way. Instead, he's grateful that being with Ivy and their break up caused him to better himself and find his real love. Sure, he's still a doofus, but he's genuinely trying now. Definitely his best appearance.

In case you were wondering, the reason its the 83rd annual awards is because batman was invented 83 years ago when this was made

MrJ

That opening bit for the joker is more traumatic for us bat fans because that was obviously referencing the time he killed jason todd the second robin with a crowbar. It was shocking back when that comic first came out because i dont think comics had ever killed off a main character before. Whats even worse is that the decision to do that was voted for by the people
