If you’d be interested in watching them, maybe in between seasons would be the time, there are a bunch of shorts called “World of Remnant” that explains some things about the world it would have been awkward to have the characters say in the main show itself, I feel like it’s fun/helpful to know

Jaune’s story arc here is definitely frustrating but like you said, it’s very accurate to a lot of real young men. Also Ruby’s advice to Jaune (“you don’t get to be a failure” and “dragging our teams down with us”) kind of helps us understand her desperation to prove herself in Badge and the Burden. She knows if she fails, her team does too. She cares so much I love her. Also yeah as you pointed out, I love all the moments where Blake is just quietly vibing and staying out of things while everyone else is being their chaotic selves

So this was the first time the show got tears out of me. Jaune saying that he was tired of being the idiot stuck in the tree really got to me, mostly in part to Miles Luna's great voice acting. It's silly that this is the scene that got me but hey, it did. Ruby's "nope" has no right to be so funny. And thus the introduction of Semblances. Basically everyone gets a special little power. Ruby's is speed. Weiss is her glyphs. Pyrrha's is polarity, as she said. I do love we've seen Pyrrha use her polarity before. If you go back and watch when Pyrrha is first introduced and she throws her spear at Jaune, she doesn't even touch it when she retrieves it. Little touches like that are so fun to go back and look for. Yang literally did not move when a dude ran full speed into her. Girl is sturdy. This arc gets a lot of flack and I get it. It's a pretty generic bully arc, and back when RWBY V1 was originally airing it dragged on for four weeks with people only getting four-six minute length episodes for each of those weeks. So I can see where the frustration was coming from. Now though, with the ability to binge the show, it's honestly not that bad. I only came to the FNDM after V3 so I just got to binge it.

i know these episodes aren't well-liked within the fndm especially among those who couldn't binge them due to the fact that it was 4 weeks of Jaune focued eps... I really like them though and think they include a lot of important moments that are overlooked bc they're included in the "generic bully arc." The reveal that Jaune faked his transcripts, Jaune and Ruby's talk about being a leader, the information we get on the faunus, Pyrrha's semblance reveal and a couple other things that i don't want to elaborate on bc spoilers. plus like Mosco said Jaune is reacting to Pyrrha's offer of help in a way that is all too common to real life so the fact that he not only apologizes but specifically calls it for what it is "macho stuff" himself is honestly refreshing to me

jaune's arc (heh) is frustrating, but at least you got to binge it instead of watching it over 4 weeks. Jaune is a great character, with unfortunately some of the worst fans in the fandom

If one pays attention, each time Pyrrha uses polarity, there's a deep hum. 'Recalling' her spear from Jaune's hoodie, her shield during the deathstalker fight. It's just obvious in Forever Fall because it gets pointed out, but they kept the sound consistency up. You're right, watching RWBY during it's initial release cycle was a bit frustrating. Which did make these 'four' episodes rough to watch. Though another part of it was that most interest was on RWBY, JNPR was okay, but it was the main girls folks wanted and here we had a month of releases with them getting barely any screen time.

IIRC, while she did have her points here, her fan popularity skyrocketed due to her adorable appearance and the VA's accent, so CRWBY ended up making her and her team larger parts of the show.

It might be a good idea to write down character names with pronunciations for yourself for this show because it has a lot of characters to remember. I am glad Nora grew on you. "We'll break his legs!" is one of my favorite lines from her.

I feel you on the heat. I live in the NW United States, where the weather is traditionally milder. A lot of people around here, including me, don’t have AC, and the summers seem to be getting hotter. Last year I finally broke down and bought a portable AC unit so I can keep at least one room in our house cooler.

She was originally intended to just be a random background character but the fans loved her design. 15:07 - Oh, you have NO idea how many too many Professor Oobleck has had. I think you might still be able to find a little bit of blood in his caffeinestream. 16:17 - Jaune's trying his best, it's just that his best is not very good. 26:40 - Ruby's little "Nope!" is one of the iconic sound bytes of the series. 30:06 - Just pointing it out because I've seen SO many reactors miss this, but it's called the Forest of Forever Fall because the naturally red foliage makes it look like it's always the season of Fall/Autumn there.

Yeah I hear you. I grew up in Alaska, and still live there. No one, ever thought to put air conditioning in most of the houses here, for obvious reasons. But sometimes...we do get summers that are too hot, at least for me. xD Not very often, of course, but when it does get too hot, there is NOTHING I can do about it. Omg I can't wait for you an Elijah to get to reach RWBY Chibi.
