Since Charlie says "sorry" like it were breathing air, I honestly feel like actually admitting what she did and how she treated Vaggie wasn't okay, acknowledging that she's the problem, especially for a pride demon, is an even better apology from her. I just hope the lesson sticks this time. 🙏🏻

Also on a like, socital level we've taken the phrase "don't make excuses" to such an extreme we can't even have a frank conversation about WHY we're engaging in certain behaviors (which is also really important for the series as a whole with the whole figuring out redemption thing), so sorries are kinda meaningless because people (Charlie in this case) aren't actually digging into and changing their behavior. Like, I'll use myself as an example, I have little shame, but I have a really bad habit of lying about the smallest fuck ups (e.g. saying the store was out of X when I forgot to put it on the list and didn't check). One of my close friends pointed this out to me and we had an actual conversation about it and I was able to reflect and realize I did so because growing up it wasn't safe to admit guilt in those sort of situations and I was carrying that trauma into adulthood and assuming EVERYONE would react poorly to me messing up. And thanks to that conversation this is now something I'm consciously aware of about myself AND my close friends can recognize as a coping mechanism and can lovingly bonk me on the head with the truth paddle when I need it.

Yup, oh I so fking relate ont he "don't admit to X" thing, it's food for me... Without details if I'm asked by relatives(one particular) what I've had for dinner, yeah I'll occasionally/often say something random(microwave lasagna/cottage/shepherds pie ect/ noodles/Mac n cheese) even when I haven't actually had *anything* or has snacked slightly a while ago and that's it, bcz of lack of food issues when I was younger(I also have a bad habit of stashing food til it's almost out of date then eating it) that led me to getting into trouble for not eating when others at home did and saying that I'd already eaten and wasn't hungry so that I wouldn't be in trouble 🤷 my bestie is also of the bonk on the head with a "you're eating when we go out for a walk, stfu you're eating idc I just know you haven't yet"

I believe that Nifty’s control over her bugs is something that Baxter did for her for whatever reason. We can see him experimenting with the roaches in Episode 3 of season 2 when Cherri goes down to talk to him. Not sure if there’s an underlying purpose behind him doing that for her, or if it’s just an experiment he thought he’d let her have fun with so he can gather research data on his experiments on the roaches.

I really like the arc charlie and chaggie as a couple had here. Feels believable. I do think the fact that charlie is already thinking that they need other people is a good sign of an actual change. Charlie's biggest issue in my opinion is thinking her voice is the final say and all the responsibility is hers. She already thinking differently.

A way to help you bypass copyright for the songs is to edit the music out of them. Examples of reactors who have done that are Mortius and the Reel Rejects. It doesn't mean you can put up entire songs but it should help with copyright nonsense

I thought Viv said the eyes everywhere were from Sinners who ceased to be, not Roo?? Whilst the livestream the info comes from (SURPRISE HAZBIN HOTEL Q and A! PART 2 (2:06:55) was 6 years ago and old info can easily be changed when put into the actual show, I'm more inclined the believe that over theories about a character the show has yet to acknowledge

Why RWBY has a writting edge over Hazbin Hotel. The fact that the biggest theory around this show involves a character Not even mentioned in the show ONCE! At least with RWBY they had World of Remnant. With this I refuse to believe a character not even mentioned once in almost two seasons be a big deal unless it is mentioned in the show proper. I shouldn’t have to go through social Media posts to find out critical Lore to a show I am watching.

I don't think it's a matter of the actual writing, but of what was talked about *outside* the show. In RWBY, Salem wasn't mentioned at all in the series until she appeared on-screen in the final seconds of Volume 3. Even her monologue at the very start of Volume 1 was simply attributed to "Mysterious Narrator" and never brought up again. The difference is that CRWBY were so tight-lipped about spoilers they never once mentioned Salem on social media at the time either, so fans never really seemed to give much thought to how the voice of Cortana might tie into the story proper.

ehh, iirc Morgan said they tried deleting the music but leaving the lyrics for 1 and 2 and still had trouble, so they skipped them entirely for 3 and 4.

She has, but it could be a mix, that the dead sinners get absorbed, if we think of Roo as being literally roots, them becoming part of the network of roots/tendrils etc sort of makes sense. Either way, this episode was definitely drawing attention to the eyes, and they were definitely actually watching, rather than just being present. So Roo isn't a bad bet. Who knows though.

Minor things I appreciate about the Chaggie stuff this episode. Like, yes there's still some petty stuff happening, but Charlie immediately gets Carmilla's attention off Vaggie when she sees Vaggie is triggered by Carmilla's words. While Charlie is still trying to hold onto her frustration, she does finally seem to realize that she's being the jerk here after that scene. And then of course I love when Vaggie tries to brush it all aside ("Its okay I still love you") Charlie flat out says that no, it's actually not okay that Charlie's been doing this. Which side note: Vaggie I know you love Charlie but your self esteem needs so much work honey. Also, anyone else a little bummed that they made such a big deal out of Lute's Revenge arc and she has done literally nothing. What the hell is she gonna do in two episodes? And why am I still terrified? Also also, the parallels between Vox doing whatever he wants and Charlie doing whatever she wants. Except Charlie may be learning from her mistakes. .....Ah, I do love hero/villain parallels.

I don't think so, since that looked to be firing from heaven in the trailer, unless it's being smuggled into heaven and fired BACK to hell to try and trigger the start of the war. To make it look like heaven struck first. But...if their power source is a fallen angel, i suppose it could be to make it look like an angelic attack, so maybe you are right. Just not sure how they'd get it there, unless they had help, from Lute maybe?

Angel's burlesque performance is giving me more "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" vibes than Rocky Horror. He's not bad, he's just drawn that way... and I cannot wait to see people cosplay it. If I had a nickel every time a bi character symbolically went down on her girlfriend during a diegetic love song, I'd have two nickels. Which is not a lot, but it's disappointing that it's only happened twice in (checks notes) 24 years. But Carmilla was right. The angels are coming! ... And then they go and absolute fuck is in the feels with the twist that Angel Dust is an unwilling double agent. Now I have to go re-watch the first six episodes to see if there was any hint of it.

Loved watching yours and Elijah’s reactions this week as always. One thing I’ll note, I think it’s implied that Angel has only been used by Vox as a spy from around episode 3-4 of season one onwards. Vox doesn’t even know that Angel is staying at the hotel until episode 2 when Val mentions it, and then the Vees plant Sir Pentious in there as their spy. After that fails, that’s when I believe Vox decided to use Angel, and I want to say based on the flashbacks being on the set of Val’s studio, it seems like it might’ve been after Poison because Vox is seen talking to Val at the end. That’s just my interpretation but I do think based on the stuff in season 1 episode 2, Angel definitely went to the hotel himself to begin with as we saw in the pilot

The first memory Angel has after Vox tells him about it is when he, Pentious, and Husk are getting the hotel ready for the fight while Charlie and Alastor go to see Rosie and Vaggie is talking to Carmilla. So while they may have hypnotized him during Season 1, Episode 4, I think he's only been an actual spy since Season 1, Episode 7

Absolutely, he was hypnotised sometime between episode 4 and 6, and likely first used in episode 7 of season 1. My main point is that Moscow thought he might’ve been put at the hotel in the first place to be a spy, I was just clarifying that’s not the case

My running theory is that Carmilla and her entire family were all killed simultaneously during some sort of conflict (whether that's large scale war, or smaller like gang or mafia related stuff) and that she might have had a large part in the fight starting/escalating. That would explain how she reunited with them in Hell so easily and why she places so much importance on protecting her one and not inciting a fight that unnecessarily puts them in harms way.

I honestly thought the angel that Vaggie was comforting was someone she was close to or in a relationship with and then Adam and Lute tore them apart, possibly killing the other angel. That's just my view on it.
