OH MY GOD IT'S ALREADY BEEN A WEEK! LET'S GOOOO HOLY FUCK! I'm SO ready for this

Dafydd Mac an Leigh

Ambrosius has such "Matt Mercer NPC" vibes, I love him. I also love how he openly states his intention to follow their exact wording, regardless of intent — gives him a little extra brat energy. :-D

Adrian ruiz martinez

I get people shipping Robyn and qrow, but lets not forget Robyn's sapphic polycule, the happy huntress.

RaisedEyebrow

Based on context clues from the show, most of the fandom theorizes that The Girl Who Fell Through The World is Remnant's version of Alice in Wonderland. But that's just a theory.

Jonathan Smith

I'm pretty sure Ruby is just speculating about Salem transforming her mom. Since Maria is older than Summer, Salem may have been making hounds for a long time, but they are few and far between.

Dreanner95

Team RWBY basically used a loophole: They needed to get Ambrosious to create something without telling him to create it. Because as soon as they tell him to create something, that would disappear when they use the staff again. So they asked him to create a robot body to get the virus away from Penny and used the rule he had that he isn't directly allowed to destroy to lead him to create something to keep Penny's soul safe.

Danny Xander

Lots of speculation goes on about what Winter does with her final strike but I do believe the most common theory is she used time dilation off screen and essentially strike a bunch of times in a second to decimate Ironwoods aura

Adrian ruiz martinez

I remember that a couple of people use to ship Whitley and oscar, and i always remember it this episode cos this is the only time the two interact.

BGTitan

Ep 11: God this episode is just good emotional catharsis. These characters finally getting a moment to sort out some of their issues and figuring out how to come back together. I know this had been the episode I’d been waiting for since… maybe volume 6. Just a chance for some of our characters to have their breakdown and get that emotional release. And I just want to give it up to the voice actors. Specifically Sam Ireland (Nora), Neath Oum (Ren), Barbara Dunkleman (Yang), and Lindsey Jones (Ruby). I can’t watch either of their scenes without getting super emotional. These actors have come so far since volume 1 (Volume 3 for Neath), and I’m so happy for them. Something I've always enjoyed about the Ace Ops' reactions to what Ironwood is doing is that it's a spectrum. You obviously have Marrow being completely horrified by what James is doing and so he defects. You have Elm who is uneasy, but still thinking like a soldier (though I do love that after James almost shoots Marrow even she's like 'uh, guys...' and takes a second to fall in line again). You have Vine who is looking at this as pure logic, as in if this makes the kids see reason then the threat was worth it. And then there's the Harriet of it all, the one that is so angry that she's become, ironically, completely apathetic to whether he detonates the bomb or not. Awkward Emerald with a touch of Tsundere is just perfect. The Jailbirds are free! I repeat, the Jailbirds are free! Ep 12: YESSSSS WINTER FINALLY DEFECTED LET’S FREAKIN GO MY QUEEN IS FREE! I REPEAT: MY QUEEN IS FREE!!! Ahem… Anyway! Something I do enjoy about Winter’s defection is that it wasn’t related to Weiss or any of her family. It was her own morals and the fact that she finally had come to grips with the fact that the man she’d followed so faithfully for years (who as Weiss said last volume had groomed her entire military career) had become the monster. The name the crew used our new Staff Deity during production is Merlin Daddy. I mean, fitting. Ambrosius is fun though. He’s just here to have a good time and seems genuinely bummed out that our crew thought through their plan so thoroughly. Love the implication that Winter would have left Jacques to rot. Can’t blame her. The way Penny’s VA imitates Emerald’s for a moment before the reveal is so good. There’s even a hint it’s Emerald because she says, “I don’t” instead of “I do not.” Penny doesn’t use contractions, hasn’t since she came back last volume. And just like that, Pinocchio became a real girl. So, to speak. Physically I mean. She’s always been a real girl in the ways that mattered, but you know. Pinocchio reference. “Do not fall.” Well… That’s not foreboding at all.

SauceyRed

41:39 AFAIK it's just rule of cool, I don't think it's an actual ability or anything, she used her sword as normal but they wanted to make it look cool

Phoenix_mercury

One of the reasons I love him, he says what he means and means what he says... He gives no shits, what u ask for is literally what your getting 🤣 him and Jin are great, and possibly the only reason they're tied for who I like more is biasm for Jin's va ngl🤷 if it was a diff va then Ambrosius would be my fave🤣

Symbolic Remnant

Ye. It’s just a Smash Bros effect basically. “GAME!”

Celly

You should treat yourself to pure treasure. Samantha Ireland was filmed in the voice booth delivering the lines to Lie-Ren in the Renora I love you scene. You are quick to note so many fantastic examples of magnificent delivery in chapters (I agree Kate Newville's (Emerald Sustrai) delivery was so good in the risks scene). Google it but its on youtube, but watch that performance. Goosebumps :) And then when Ren booped Nora, I melted. I'm with you, Nora's growth was one of the strongest through the volumes. WHEN they endgame, I will be useless.

James Derrick

I think the flash with Winter and Ironwood was just visual flair

Thomas Love

I love that both you and Elijah had the same reaction to the faunus's eyes 😂

SauceyRed

Regarding the Ambrosius and Penny thing, don't worry, a lot of people had trouble understanding it at first, including me. I think you got it(?), but just to make it (hopefully) clearer: They asked Ambrosius to essentially disassemble Penny's mechanical body and reassemble it, which means it would retain the virus and, as seen, the virus destroys it. This means that Penny's aura and whole being isn't part of the reassembled body, since, as Yang said, the mechanical parts are just "extra." The loophole was telling Ambrosius to be "creative" with the aura that remains, essentially making the new body a byproduct of the request, meaning it falls outside of the scope of the "one thing at a time" limitation. The fact that Penny's body was created was just lucky, since even Ambrosius noted that it could be dangerous and he didn't know exactly what the result would be. At least, that's how I came to understand it. I'll admit that there might be some minor details that I've gotten wrong/not quite right, but I think I'm like 99% correct. Whoever on the writing team came up with this loophole is way smarter than me, I promise I could've been given a million years and I wouldn't have come up with that lmao.

Spadeas

I always say when we arrive at these episode, the blue fairy is definitely more ripped than the disney version ^^.

SauceyRed

That's actually a --risk-- *ahem* ship I haven't considered...

LaviPastelQueen

I'm so excited a little sad you are getting closer to the end (for now 😤 I refuse to believe more isn't coming) but also excited that you are because I love these vols even though some people don't

Taigan

Kinda disappointed to learn that you’re going to one episode per week for vol 9. Just because it’ll be that much longer before we get to the episode that made Elijah flip her chair.

Adrian ruiz martinez

I feel like there a robyn arc that people dont notice, that by the end of volume 7, she has made a lot rash choices during the volume that while she wasnt wrong and she was well intention, it unintentionally scalated things or made things worse, and it ended with her starting a fight on the ship going to Atlas, and because of that, the ship crash, clover died, tyrian escape and they got capture. She is seeing qrow going to do a very rash choice with even more at stake, thats why she stops him.

Suplee215

I think Robyn was totally ok with killing Ironwood. She wasn't ok with a plan that wouldn't work. Theres also a question of if they killed ironwood if that would do anything to save Mantle. Aceops or drones or whoever can still use the bomb so the priority needs to be on the bomb. It wasnt moral reasons she disagreed with the plan. Just practical.

LaviPastelQueen

These episodes amplified how much I love ruby and her character she's my fav little bean and I just want her to have the world and be happy 😢 I want them all to of course but you get it I hope

julia

i’ve never thought about this throughline in her arc but it’s really well noted

Dre

Qrow just needs more healthy friendships with people his age. Poor guy.

Ryan

"The Land Before Time", the reveal that Nora's mother abandoned her, and the reveal of a possible fate worse than death for Summer Rose? Happy Mothers' Day, y'all! Chapter 11 You CAN be normal about cartoons. But where's the fun in that? So glad that you didn't read the comments last week, and that the mods didn't tell you. Makes your reaction to them stating outright that The Hound had silver eyes all the more powerful. Peas? No peas. Chapter 12 Everything is going well. Too well... and then they explained the plan. "Do not fall." "Who's falling?" When her name is Cinder FALL, so...

Geass

I never thought of this before, but how were the vaults created? Ambrosius didn't do it. Oz must have come up with something.

Gihellcy

Oh we all know the next reaction is gonna be ... well, interesting ~~

Andrius Bruzas

From the very first second that Marrow spoke up, I was with tears in my eyes, as I knew what was about to happen. Ironwood killed for less, happy that Winter saved him.

Suplee215

Easiest answer is Oz used his magic in the same way he made the maidens and gave Qrow and Raven their bird powers.

CrowOfAFeather

I mean, Tock even tells Maria that her master wants SE people dead, so the experimentation came later. Which could very much include Summer, who likely was a failed experiment. I can't see how or why Summer would be alive and not contact her family for years.

CB Jones

So I've generally assumed that it was the Maidens, at Oz's request, who made the vaults. They were presumably made around the end of the Great War as that's when the Academies were built, at which point Oz had very little magic left. The Maidens would presumably be more capable of building them and it would tie into why each vault requires a specific Maiden to open if the doors were tied to their specific magic.

RetroBeastto

Don’t forget to watch the intro for the last episode plz The attack that Winter performed is the same attack she was charging up for back in Voume 3 when her and Qrow fought. This is just our first time seeing her fully completing the attack

TheyWereMarried

Mosco's going to need tissues for the next episodes.

Rixec2

I always find Emerald's flinch when Yang approached interesting. Emerald has always been ready to fight them all before when they confronted one another. Yet now she flinches instead of getting confrontational? I see it as being because she's now on their side. Back in volume 3, when we learn how Cinder met Emerald and Mercury, we hear Cinder slap Emerald at one point for speaking out of turn. I think Emerald got it into her head whenever she speaks out of turn and upsets someone she's working with she now expects to be punished. So, when Yang approached her, I think she thought she messed up and was now going to be punished for it, like what happened with Cinder.

Phoenix_mercury

Maybe Elijah can talk her outta it? 🤣

CrowOfAFeather

Tock worked for Salem. It's fairly obvious, but the now cancelled Amity Arena game, where Tock was a playable character, shed some light on that, yes, Salem was Tock's master who at the time wanted Silver Eyed people dead. The Hound, as Salem told Cinder, was an experiment. I would assume Summer was a failed one since Salem was "so far pleased with the results" which would explain why she has kept hunting down SE people; to perfect the experiment. They used a loophole with Ambrosius. He's not allowed to destroy, so he couldn't "destroy" Penny by taking her current "robotic" parts to create an exact copy; which meant that her soul, what made her an android at first and now fully human, was given a real flesh-n-blood-n-bone body once her the mechanical parts were removed, leaving only the "leftovers", i.e. Penny's soul thus made manifest into life, a body. Otherwise Penny would just be destroyed the second they use the Staff for anything else. So again, clever loophole to get what they wanted to save Penny without making it a creation that would be under risk of vanishing upon Staff usage. "You're the reason someone's falling!" Ahahaha...

Ann_Temki

“If you were one of my men, I would have you shot!”-Ironwood back in v3. The red flags have been waving since the start, we were just too distracted by Jacques stupid face to notice

Nurydian

I just notice this from this MUST recent rewatch of this series, Ironwood is turning into Darth Vader. Once a hero, but now slowly turning more robot then man to control his own emotions.

Kitsune Kokoro

Maybe things will line up so Mosco is visiting Elijah when she records that episode

dilemmafordays

Salem does refer to the hound as an experiment though, suggesting that whatever has happened to Summer is probably different on some level

Arashi

Robyn's 'issue' with Qrows plan was that it wasn't for Mantle. He wanted to go and kill James solely for himself and she onto tagged that. Which was why she 'asked' him to still be the Huntsman who was doing the right thing. Emerald over here being tsundere. Yeah vocal performances this chapter have been top tier. "What was that?" 'That' was just Winter being anime as F. Like how Jinn can never tell you what will be as free will (or 'Choice') can't be accounted for, Ambrosius' abilities are conceptually limited to only create. He can't destroy something. The 'new' Penny would not have had the Aura/soul infusion so it wouldn't be Penny. However, he /has/ to do something with the soul of Penny. So the request is done as asked for, the human Penny is what's left over as the 'new' Penny (with virus) was removed once the doors were created. Just putting it out there, Penny's song for the volume (Friend) is my favorite of the volume hands down. Also her hug hunter mode is adorable.

vercingetorix

Siblinghood ended with Raven. Now Robyn is my new bird sister.

Bowser's Rage Stage

That flash in Ironwood vs Winter doesn't have any in universe significance, it is literally only there to look cool. My favorite tiny detail is how Yang is visibly unimpressed with Ambrosius unlike her being open mouthed and starring with Jinn (and bicon Blake is contrastingly visibly impressed with him)

Magikltrevr

I actually had a new theory about what the Winter anime flash was while watching this reaction. It could have been time dilation. Yeah, we didn't see her use a glyph for it and I really think this is theory at best, but it would make some sense.

Mare

Yeah, Ruby is 17 at this point. Nora and other characters (Including Team RWBY) had their emotional masks. That's what made Volumes 1-3, part of the "set-up" arc. They dropped those masks after the fall of Beacon. If there's one thing about the Branwens, is that they run high on emotions. Qrow is NO exception as you can see in this episode. He tends to act on those emotions without thinking it through sometimes. I'm really not surprised that you didn't notice his silver eyes. Elijah didn't notice them too LOL. The casts' acting has really gotten top notch. Barb's and Lindsay's were outstanding here. Nuts & Dolts my love. I'm glad they got some moments here and in this volume. Summer being dead is way to easy and her being alive is a "Monkey's Paw." And being a hound is speculation because of Ruby is attempting to put "two and two together." They assume a lot based on very little info. And we, the audience, sometimes cling to those little details and treat it as the absolute truth sometimes. We really don't know ANYTHING. I LOVE how you're predicted someone falling. I'm choosing to believe Summer made a deal with the devil (Salem) and is Salem's dark horse for the last arc (Act 3). Part of me wants to think that's why Raven feels so betrayed. Like we always thought that Cinder was Salem's "right hand gal" (it's in quotes because Cinder is just a means to an end for Salem) when in reality it was Summer all along. Kind of like when Salem said "Her Again" to Yang. It was the kind of sound one makes when someone knows something about someone and finds it amusing when that person keeps being brought up. It would be such an ultimate punch in the gut for both the remaining Team STRQ as well as Ruby and Yang. But that's just my theory, based on the Red Like Roses Pt II song and stuff I can't talk about YET. Once she finishes RWBY Proper, I'm unleashing other theories like there's no tomorrow. It may or may not happen, but since no one ever mentions Summer with the "D" word and the fact that they keep "SHILLING" her, with "she's perfect, super mom, she's the best of us." we've learned how unreliable witnesses/narrators (who don't know ALL the facts and just pieced info together themselves) or narratives can effect things in RWBY. And sometimes it has a lot to do with the characters' perceptions viewed with either their "Rose" tinted glasses or murky tinted ones. It would be awesome if she was a bigger baddie than Cinder. And MAYBE the current Summer maiden will die and those powers will go to "Evil" Summer. What would be interesting is if she's a double agent and betrays Salem at some point. It would be unprecedented for someone with Silver Eyes and Maiden powers combined....maybe. Basically the info we receive from some characters are based on assumptions just like Ruby is assuming at that moment. The entire series of RWBY there are several plot lines where we were intentionally mislead. CRWBY counts on the ones that see and read the scenes at Face Value. And that's how they twist the knife. We wait for conventional storytelling and CRWBY's intentions are to annihilate expectation. Which is something I absolutely love about RWBY. It's the fact that "NO ONE ACTUALLY KNOWS" and we can keep guessing til our faces turn blue or until we reach Act 3 which is coming. And Kiersi (one of the writers who is confirmed to still be involved) implied on Twitter that she's basically ready to traumatize the fans again. Eddy Rivas mentioned this too. For certain, someone is most likely going to die in the Vacuo arc but Act 3 truth bombs still need to happen and we've only been getting crumbs throughout the series with a lot of misdirections. So that's my part of my RWBY Bingo Card. I also choose to believe that Summer's grave has the Beacon relic or that damn Xiao Long Sunflower Garden at Patch. My Bingo card also has Glinda as the relic herself LOL.

Luna

We love you fam💜💜💜💜

Stephen Mumford

For those curious, it's on Youtube at /watch?v=MSTmPBL5-Qc -- Powerful stuff, and as someone mentioned in the comments, it weirdly feels like it's Nora's voice dubbed onto Samantha's, not the other way around :D Mosco, if you DO look this up, the clip doesn't have anything other than what you've already seen here, but remember to use your alt account so you don't get any possible spoilers fed to you by the algorithm!

Bowser's Rage Stage

Also I love that you're noticing Nora's emotional intelligence, which is actually seen throughout the entire series like how she talks to Pyrrha about her crush on Jaune, or Jaune about how to deal with his grief. She's actually one of the smarter characters on the show, but nobody, not even herself, gives her credit for it, seeing her as only someone who can "be strong and hit stuff". Hopefully now, she can finally recognize that

LikeCat

Amborius' "Do not fall" warning - Every one of us: Well... The opening was/is more literal than we thought.

Ky McKenna

Im surprised you didn't notice the eye color right away, given how detail oriented you are in your reactions. I was waiting for that reveal.

Cinder's Apologist

Gonna say it again: the tragedy of the Ace Ops is that they are good soldiers - not morally good, but good at their job which is following through on orders. Military structure is inherently undemocratic; it does not abide soldiers who think for themselves or disobey commands on a whim. It is up to the commanding officers and the top of the chain to exercise good judgment, and when that fails, the failure spreads down the chain. This is why atrocities happen in war and countless situations involving militaries, and this is why Atlas under Ironwood's rule was doomed to fail. Glad you came around to Renora finally! Kinda valid to be wary of Nora early on, but I always found her to be cute and funny so I didn't mind that hyperactive energy as much. But yes, they've done a great job fleshing out their relationship and showing that sometimes, romance has those bumps and you gotta step back and take time for yourself first. Robyn might want to bring down Ironwood, but she's sensible enough to recognize that Qrow is blinded by his rage and charging at a man with his finger on the button - and if Ironwood so much as sees Qrow coming, all he has to do is push that button, so to speak. And BOOM! Literally. Mantle gets bombed. Robyn is trying to get Qrow to slow down and remember that they HAVE to find a way to stop the bomb as well as take Ironwood out. I also am partial to Robyn/Qrow as a potential ship. My first preference is Happy Huntress sapphic polycule, but Robyn could certainly be a good partner for Qrow if not just a solid friend - because he really needs a friend. That talk between Ruby and Yang remains another outstanding moment of dialogue and showcasing how much they have changed. HELL YES EMERALD! I was so hoping your tune would change once you got to that moment, and yes, the vocal delivery is excellent and really captures how awkward Emerald is about this whole thing because what on earth does she know about being A Good Guy? Why is she even giving these guys a pep talk? Well, as it turns out, they needed to hear something like that! But also, Emerald is correct - when Ruby said that nothing had changed (in the course of volume 8), she was unable to see the whole picture and recognize that things had actually changed AND that like Emerald says, this is war. They are going to take hits, take losses, and they can't get bogged down in those moments.

Cinder's Apologist

And once again, HELL YES EMERALD!! I'm pretty sure I really started to love her as a character the moment she kicked Ironwood squarely in the chin; she defects and not even one day in she's already kicking fascists XD Also big yes about her Illusions - that is undeniably a powerful Semblance that she has now honed to incredible effect. It will be fascinating to see what else she can do with it going forward. Very cool hit by Winter but that's just it: a super dramatic finishing hit. Just the animators having fun, nothing extra special about her weapon or Semblance. You forget... plans have to be explained because the viewers are stupid. Okay, not literally but seriously, you have to walk through things from time to time so that the viewers aren't completely lost, not just because "explain plan = plan goes wrong" logic. Case in point: what they do to save Penny. It's not the same as the overall plan to save the people, but it's a moment where it is necessary to see exactly how they reach their desired end point. DING DING DING! Give the Mosco a prize! Penny is indeed Pinocchio! And yup! The goal was to get Penny the girl out of the robot body, aka extract her soul and form a new body for it while the old robotic one succumbed to the virus and then gets destroyed. As a side note, it's quite fun to see how creative Ruby (and her friends in this case) are when they use relics. Just something to think about ;)

Shaky Tail Studios

Legit thought for a second we were at the volume finale XD Low key I am way more fond of Harriet than some other folks, I feel she never gets the same level of grace as folks like Ironwood or Neo and they and Harriet are all very similar people with similarly bad coping mechanisms in different fonts. Regarding Robyn being against Qrow's plan, she wants to stop the bomb, killing Ironwood has no guarantee of stopping the nuke delivery but Qrow cared more about getting even for Clover than that until Robyn gave him a dose of perspective. Also love Marrow finally rebelling and his emerging dynamic with Winter is so good uwu! Emerald's efforts to be helpful are so adorably awkward, I am luv her and the line delivery with Penny was perfect, I love that collective jumping fight. Also gosh, Penny's been trying to martyr herself all volume, that "Kill me" was not a new idea for her, as she's suggested throwing her life away before. Huge oof all round there, especially for Ruby who places such a weight on herself to save others. I adore the Ren & Nora scene, Ren finally admitting why he's been so intense these volumes & Nora! The pain in her underselling her emotional insights & penchant to stand up for the forgotten people, I love her so much, V7/8 did her so well! The plan they come up with is extremely fun and clever and like with the Silver Eyes raises so many juicy world building questions. Watching Ruby try & reject Yang's comfort hurts so badly given she used to be so comfortable relying on Yang before. I find it so funny Winter's just outright like "I'd be fine leaving you to die dad" good for her XD

Shaky Tail Studios

"Heatap! Face it, you've killed for less." Ironwood: That's not untrue.

Shaky Tail Studios

My theory is tied to stuff in V9, but I think they are natureal breaches in the world Ozin just harnessed.

John Hannon

So the way they explain the Penny plan is never super clear. The best analogy is if you think of Penny as a car, her soul/aura is the driver. They asked him to take the parts of the car and use them to construct a new car. What's left is the driver, which is Penny's soul/aura , which can't just float there so it made itself real.

Dayash

yess that Ren and Nora combo is one of my fave scenes of the entire show it is SO well written <3 I would give SO MUCH to see your reaction to the next episode..LOL

Statsky

That's a cool idea, but I don't think that accurately describes her arc. Robyn has been dealing with Ironwood and Clover's bs for her entire career. Remember when we first met Robyn and how Clover called her "worse" than Grimm? Someone who was just trying to help the people of Mantle by getting their wall repaired? They'd been resisting her and making her life difficult for doing the right thing for a while. And she even de-escalated that situation when it seemed a prolonged brawl would break out instead of a quick snatch and grab. So that's a point for not being rash. As for Clover's death, she KNEW Clover was going to follow through with the arrest based on her past experiences with his refusal to EVER budge when it came to Ironwood's orders. There was no other choice but to make a move before Clover's inevitable one because he was absolutely going to arrest Qrow. And in her mind, she needs as many people as possible to protect Mantle from Ironwood's tyranny, so she had to stop Clover. (Also, Clover could have maybe NOT attacked Qrow from behind while he was fighting Tyrian... Or Jimmy Jim Bob could have not called for Qrow's arrest. So let's chill on blaming Robyn for Clover's death because that was a series of bad choices by several people.) Finally, that moment when she talks Qrow down? It wasn't about rash choices, it was about emotional choices, which isn't Robyn. She always tries to make calculated choices that help people which is what she conveyed to Qrow. More examples: It wasn't 'when' she wins the election it was 'if', she stopped to hear Yang and Blake out when she didn't have to, and again, she called off the attack on the transport when we first met her.

S.K. Kramer

lol no I don't think what Winter did to Ironwood was her semblance or a special sword ability outside of the staff wanting to show her doing some peak "Anime Bullshit", and I, for one, loved it

Suplee215

This reaction made me really think of ranking the top semblences by power level in the show. Neo is for sure number 1. Emerald is useful and its growing but the limitation seems too much. It is a bit unclear what her current limitation is though. The disguising oscar as hazel certainly took hiding it in multiple.peoples mind but assuming it is still mind based means she need to interact with who she is showing illusions do in some way. I will probably put Glynda at number 2. Her level of telekinetics is effortless and includes an insane amount of weight. I would probably put Raven as 3rd. While she needs to work with other people to use it this way, she can transport in an entire army into and out of a battlefield. In top of all the other uses we see both in getting out of situations and rescuing people. In no order I will probably put emerald, weiss/winter/schnee, and jaune the next 3. The schnee one is extremely versatile and always useful. Juane's is an untapped powerhouse that has worked wonders already. Because he works both as a battery for longer use and as a amplifier to push other semblences beyond their limit as we see with Ren. Imagining what some abilities look like beyond their limit is insane and I expect it to be used in future finales as part of a desperate stupid plan that borders on deus ex machina.

TheCasualNerd

Dont worry Cinder is gonna be the one knocked into the void. Trust. Everything will be fiiiiiine

WolfieOo

Don't sush us, you sush! Lol. Yeah, they didn't explain the plan, not fully, so they avoided that trope but yeah, can't all be wins all the time.

TheRavenWanderer

My theory on Raven's apparent guilt and ultimate choice of trying to leave the fight against Salem behind maaaaaay be connected to this theory here...

Shaky Tail Studios

No shame, same, I thought that Penny's form was crafted by her Maiden magic somehow XD

DiamondDawg

Something that always bothered me. Why didn't Winter take Jacques with her right away? Like in a meta sense obviously what the writers had in mind (which I have my own issues with) but in universe there's really no reason for Winter not to take him now. Jacques is not a threat he would've complied there's no reason to keep him locked up like Ironwood.

John J Ronald

And the Blue Fairy (ha!) made Pinocchio a real boy---er, Girl.

John J Ronald

Yeah, not a semblance or anything like that, just fancy anime bullshit.

Hollyhock

I find it hilarious that instead of only allowing a giant floating naked lady to be objectified they also made a giant floating naked man to be objectified. It's equality!

Robert Morgan

Huh, forgot Winter had a Limit Break.

SpaghettiPolonaise

Okay I know we're SUPPOSED to see Jaune's exit in that scene as "Jaune realizes that Ren and Nora are having a moment and decides to give them some alone time" But I actually really like the idea of Ren and Nora and Jaune as a throuple (I doubt it'll happen but it would be great if it did) and looking at the scene through that lens gives a very different impression of why Jaune reacts the way he does
