Forgot to add: I’ve set a schedule on my google calender and wrote it irl on my notes. A full calender dividing my day into a schedule Monday through Friday, I take my weekends off to recharge and do chores like laundry, cleaning, etc. and I low key cried cuz I felt accomplished already

Of all the American things I want to see World Cup attendees react to, it's Buc-ee's, the Costco of gas stations. Or to put it in European terms, a cathedral to petrol. Corporate acrostics are the worst! But I love "done with yer' shit!" motivational Mosco. I wonder how many times Elijah has been on the receiving end of this sort of a pep talk... or the crew of Project TEA? Was there a training video for them, too? Is that your Skittle Squad Truth or Dare Livestream milestone? Your whole "take the first step in the next three days" kick in the arse would have been amazing last summer when I was procrastinating on starting a small business online by obsessing over a spreadsheet to see if I could make it financially viable. But I got around to it! Eventually!

As for things I want ... I could vent for paragraphs on what I want and the general consensus would be, "boy, you need _therapy_." to which I would reply, "no, I need the world not to suck so much, and the promises we were made as kids to be kept." The most tangible and achievable thing I want is a mini-split heat pump so I don't have to keep replacing the through the wall AC units every few years since they are designed to be disposable rather than reparable.

I HAVE submitted stuff to Vocal Media, but I've fallen into a bit of a procrastination hole for one of my longer projects . So my goal for tge next three days is to finish the first draft of the next chapter (Which I won't he shilling so as not to dox myself.)

My goal is I want to escape stressful Civil Service bureaucracy and pursue self-employment as a proofreader, so that I can better manage and balance my physical and mental health with my work. There is also a bunch of novel ideas I want to write, but that's not an immediate goal. So thank you, Mosco, for calling out my ADHD a$%e and motivating/intimidating me to actually do something about this. Update: So I've looked into a professional proofreading course that could help get me started. It's also self-learning, so it shouldn't conflict with the current job. I haven't signed up for it yet because it's pricey and I'm already over budget this month, but I've at least had a proper read through and familiarised myself with the course material.

Update: First draft complete! It's far from perfect, but it's a rough beginning-middle-end of the next story beat in the arc! The real trick is to keep doing at least a little bit daily.

My goal is less ambitious than a lot of the others, I just want to get my apartment in some semblance of organization. And the first step on that is going to be to move some furniture around so I actually have space to sort through the assorted boxes of random stuff that have piled up.
