I relate to the Bleach mention, cause there's a lot of names in anime I love saying cause they're said with such passionate gusto. "KAMADO TANJIROU!" is frequently circling in my head. As far as Grog goes, in the campaign, many characters have "died" in D&D mechanics before being brought back. In the game, they're usually brought back right after. For the show, they've worked to make those deaths hit harder, and those resurrections come at an increasingly high cost. For Keyleth, they were able to save her before she properly died. For Vex, they brought her back after Vax offered himself to the Matron of Ravens. For Percy, they eventually saved him, but only after he was dead, buried and decomposing for 5 episodes. The price keeps going up, and the challenge threshold for bringing those characters back keeps going up. Not to mention the degree to which they've killed NPCs who survived in the campaign.

It’s ok cuz through the portal is the Lego dimension so they can just pop grogs parts back together and he’ll be good as new!

When they resurrected Vex and Percy, they had their bodies. That is kind of needed for the resurrection spell.

I just realized that Gideon's goons are a dark mirrors of Vox Machina: a holy person, a brawler, a bard, a magic user... the best defense is the same attack.

The classic dnd party is a cleric, a fighter, a rogue, and a wizard. These were the orginal options but the framework is the same for "idealized" parties. A healer (cleric is still default but druids and paladins work as can others), a marshal (fighter, barbarian) a utility skill guy (rogues, bards, artificers) and a caster (wizard, sorcerer, warlock, some druids)
