Sasha and Marcy's reunion is so precious I love them and they're underrated 🥺 Also, I'm surprised you missed the King skull on Anne's goth fit in Bessie and Microangelo! Can't wait for this to continue!! So exciting!

"Bessie & Microangelo" Comfort in your skin. What it is to know thyself. Anne has learned much here. -Anne dreading a makeover. She's either the least "girlie" of the three, or she's comfortable with who she is. Or Marcy and Sasha are terrible at makeovers. Could be all of it, tbh. -Yes! The Barbarian outfit is 100% a Breath of the Wild reference. Also the Sorcerer Supreme outfit features King's skull from The Owl House. -It's worth note that Anne's speech heavily influenced the Trans-Anne fan theory. A relatively popular headcanon among the fandom. "The Third Temple" How much ya bench, bruh? Strength is more than mere muscle. Be resilient. -In "The Third Temple", Sasha is revealed to be playing her friends for fools. Still a master manipulator. But clearly has some trepidation. -Yup! This is how Anne and Marcy met Sasha. If you read Marcy's Journal, it details how Anne and Marcy met. It's really cute. -Sasha wielding a hammer with one hand while Anne was struggling to wield it with both. Highest strength stat of the three. She's a brute.

It has been a while, and my memory isn't the best, but I don't believe I fell for Sasha's act when I first watched this episode, given what happened the last time we saw her and how she acted when she reunited with Anna in season 1. I figured she was plotting something. The same goes for Grimes.

There's a bunch of easter eggs in this pair of episodes. For instance, Anne's "elite commando" outfit was basically a frogified version of Char Aznable from Mobile Suit Gundam. And I think that Sorceress Supreme outfit had King's skull from The Owl House. I think that Sasha is sincere about wanting to make amends with Anne, here, but she also still wants to seek power and validation in Amphibia, and thinks she can have both at the same time.

Bessie and the Microangelo. Polly playing the no legs card. Anne is irritated. Hop Pop, Bessie’s the Grande Dame there. Don’t forget that just because you have a cute young snail now. I don’t think Microangelo is being a little shit. He’s like a curious baby that can crawl fast. That said Bessie is having to work OT to keep hm from getting his subscription to LIFE cancelled. No desire to have a fashion consultant thank you very much. Or an armorer. HP chaining up Bessie is all sorts of wrong. She’s Justified being ticked at Microangelo. “Is that a tiny trebouche? I’m going to touch it.” Never let Sprig near the big guns on a ship. Bessie’s save gets a 10/10. No notes. Anne’s gotten to the point where she happy with who she’s become. Someone with the strength of character to stand up to the pressure brought to bear on her. I know that her speech is cited as evidence in the Trans-Anne headcannon. I’ve never bought that one. I could see Anne as being bi or pan. To me she’s just a tomboy. As a straight guy I can say one of the best relationships I’ve ever had was with a girl who was a Tomboy. I’ve also seen tomboyish girls get accused of being trans as a way to denigrate them. It irks me. Presenting the whistling snail choir featuring Bessie and Microangelo. The Third Temple At her best Sasha is a fierce protector of her friends. Lift to enter Brah? So gym bros are in the line of fire this week. I think Joe Sparrow found his limits. Frogs need their humidity. Good news. Sasha’s here to kill monsters. Bad news, Sasha’s here. Needless to say the Plantars aren’t going for letting bygones be bygones. Well she tried to help Grime off Hop Pop so… Do you even lift Brosef. Every gym bro felt that one. Increasing the gravity would be painful there’s a reason why Airforce fighter pilots have pressurized suits to deal with g forces. Sasha and Anne needed to have that talk. How heavy was that armor? Yes Sasha is working with Gimothy, and is all in on taking control of Newtopia. But you see some guilt on her face at the end. We have two weeks to the episode that can walk into any animation pub and be acknowledged as a real one.

Someone should tell Mosco that when she's reacting to the Finale of Season 2... she needs to stop watching right when the phrase "The Adventure is far from over... In fact, it is only just beginning" appears after the credits. We need to keep Dinsey's meddling in these shows away from all first time-viewers' experience.

The barbarian outfit is actually from Zelda and not the only time Zelda gets referenced in this show. I really do love the writing of the human girls because they have such a believable friendship dynamic and complex characters. None of them are one dimensional. They all have their flaws.

I mean THAT was released pre Season 3 so I think they just included it in the official run because it WAS shown before the final season when it first aired tonus too

I do wish the show allocated more time to exploring why Sasha is how she is. Cause clearly you can pick up hints that there's a reason behind it, but the show doesn't have time to deep dive into it cause she's away from the plot so much of the time. Even Marcy has more screen time than her by now and she showed up half a season later. Its a shame I think.
