I thought I was gonna have to wait a week for each episode this is amazing!!!

SauceyRed

Aw hell yeah now I have both Elijah’s episode 3 reaction and this to look forward to after work!

that city on the flash back was republic city from korra.. also i love all your predictions.. you know Pavi's and Nisha's names have deeper meanings behind them too..

Lando

So the city in the flashbacks is guaranteed to be Republic City as the main building we see has the Future Industries logo which was Asami's company and more importantly behind that building is the Spirit Portal Korra made/opened during her fight against Kuvira. Loving the content Mosco, hope you have managed to enjoy the vacation with your family!

I love that Pavi has personality traits of Aang and Nisha has personality traits of Korra. A real Yin and Yang deal here. 🤩

Iago24

I am starting to think that Pavi and Nisha are supposed to embody the mythologically accurate interpretations of Yin and Yang - the passive and the active forces that need to balance each other out - rather than the simplistic Good vs. Evil that Raava and Vaatu did in The Legend of Korra.

L Frances

"She's gonna go dark, isn't she?" - I... don't know if I like this level of theorizing. Cause they're kids, younger than Aang was. It feels bad to be theorizing "there's an evil inside of one of them". I just don't like it. I like the storytelling so far, potentially even Raava & Vaatu playing a role, but I don't like some of the theories.

Wil DeYoung

That energy thing reminds me of an Angel from Evangelion. I can't help but think, however, that it is linked to Vaatu. It has his coloring and if Pavi and Nisha are still connected to Raava, then that could explain why it had no effect on them. We also saw, in the visions they got in the encounter, a glimpse of Republic City being absolutely demolished by energy tendrils. My current theory is that whatever Korra did, it was because Vaatu was coming back and it was the only way to stop him.

slavicandsapphic

Id much more appreciate it if theyre meant to be the bridge that heals humanitys relationship with the spirit world like. Neither are evil or good, just there to heal the world from what happened. I also feel like its the spirit world trying to give the avatar a boost

SauceyRed

1:14 That's actually hilarious LMAO 9:30 You know what, you have a point, it DOES give Infinity Train vibes

Catradora fan

That commander that ran away let his fear take over so that's maybe why he got infected

Robert Morgan

The two cat monkeys make me think of the two spirits that were in the second season of LOK. Vaatu and Raava. I'm wondering if somehow Vaatu has started a cycle of rebirth with an 'Avatar' just like Raava did.

Remcha

I do love how cute this show is at times. My only concerns so far are all the flags you've already brought up and the likelihood of 9-year-old stupidity. Also, I didn't pick this up until you mentioned the aurora lighting around Nisha at the end, but I think the lighting may be saying that the girls need each other to stay the right course. The darker lighting seemed to be around Nisha when the girls were at odds—at least in this episode.

John Hannon

I'm sure I'm not the first person to this station, but what if they're not twins? In the flashback you mentioned seeing just one child with the adults. When we get that flash of the red thing zapping them mid-vision, there's only one of them. What if they're one person but two halves split in whatever burned up their memory?

RetroBeastto

Pavi and Nisha definitely gives off yin and yang vibes. Looking back at Korra that lowkey scares me a because if one of them is yin then that means… he could be back

AlthosHol

Yeah, I am so confused as to some of the theories I see online. People are getting so caught up in the imagery and colors used for Nisha, trying to read into it like its secret subtext from the writers and then going on and on about how she's going to go dark, or even evil. They seem to completely ignore the things she says or acts. Everything we've seen up until this episode is Nisha feeling the same sense of duty Korra did. She expresses multiple times that she wants to help people, that she wants to "fix the world". She seems to be driven by the idea of showing the world that the Avatar is a force for good.

Dafydd Mac an Leigh

I can't help thinking that if the Captain had emphasized the point that today was all about *villifying the previous Avatar*, he might have got across his point about the dangers of Nisha revealing herself a little bit better. (e.g. something like "Misguided or not, everyone in the city today is blaming all their fears and problems on Avatar Korra. Do you really want to risk them turning all that anger and hatred on you?") But no, he's used to the chain of command, as if that's ever worked on eight- or nine-year-olds...

Mindstorm88

For what we can understand now, the Brigade takes the Benders while they're still children to train them in a safe environment, that way their bending will be ready to be used to protect the Haven when they'll be grown up enough.

Jared Bichler

"You never thought you were an avatar?" "I guess I always feared I was." That sounds familiar.

Jared Bichler

29:09 Whatever it is, it looks frighteningly familiar.
