27:30 She was having trouble with her earthbending because Tanushree (the examiner) was using her own earth bending with her feet to shift Nisha around and mess up her stances. The point of her test was not to earthbend, but to keep her cool despite Tanushree's needling.

Exactly. Toph did the same thing with the Boulder during her introduction episode in AtLA. The best earthbenders hold on to the earth under their feet to prevent that from happening.

Just to clarify, the Empress of the Feather mountain isn't from New Ba Sing Se, she's from a separate Haven that seems to be inhabited by just Airbenders. New Ba Sing Se seems to have all four types of Benders in their ranks.

Akasha is the group I was hoping existed ever since I learned this series was in a wasteland apocalypse, the ones that took the Mad Max: Fury Road route, I'm hoping that if we visit it one day get to see a vehicle that's a couple of old Satomobiles whose frames are welded together like Immortan Joe's Gigahorse. Also I recognise that voice from the Earthbending White Lotus member anywhere, she played Miko Nakadai from Transformers: Prime and Sashi Kobayashi from Penn Zero: Part-Time Hero.

I called that Agam who is the Baker lady was evil back in the episode where the baker gave Nisha and Pavi free food back when there was supposedly a shortage and then became certain in episode 6 when she incited the benders to go riot at the leader of Ellora. I was beyond hyped when she revealed herself as the queen. Everyone was sooooo sus of Karthik meanwhile lol
