She did…..🤢 (I’ve lost what respect I had left for Barbie)

Martin E Melcher

If you look at Octavia's design, she styled herself to look similar to Loona

Suplee215

As bad as things seem for Blitzo, I do think hes in a lot healthier place than he earlier in the show and even now with an aestrisk saved for whatever hes doing with robofizz (although depending on the level of sentience Robofizz has even that might not be unethical). Despite Barbie not being there, Blitz has a support system of people who care for him. He got Millie, Mollie, Loona. While Stolas is still somehwat at odds he certainly cares. Wally clearly was a fan and loved veing hired and while Veroriska will curse him out I think that is shifting towards banter of fremenies. Fizz of course and Ozzie does respect the guy and has helped him with Loona. Blitz thinks hes alone in the world still and no one pays attention or care but thats not true anymore and I can't wait to see Blitzo realize that. Plus all the imps who recognized him at Stolas's place and looked up to him. Hes in a bar situation and that hurts but no easy way out and he is dealing very well.

I unfortunately cannot force myself to defend Stolas. I don't have patience for deadbeats

Glad for the reupload with fixed audio.. Was wondering why the first one stopped loading half way :D And I am just gonna copy my comment on Elijahs reaction: This episode made me feel so many things. A: Stolas... my lovely, lovely bird... He is so dumb :D I get that he is high on joy, but holly hell stolas is just expert at ignoring the feelings of people around him. B: Blitz is definetly gonna lose it C: I am hoping and huffing copium, tahat Barbie played that so that Striker wouldn't kill Blitz. I mean I am pretty sure she pulled Blitz out of the water (don't know how he would get out othervise) then we see her fighting Striker, used the fact that Striker was smitten and played along. Then played + let her anger out on Blitz. And when they were leaving she gave back Blitz the crystal And also why the hell is still Stolas living with Blitz? When I guess that he has been with Vasago since the auction, which was a while ago. Auction episode was month-is before Vias 18th birthday and now she is already 18.

Iago24

Apparently there's a mistake in the official subtitles. The "foul soul" is meant to be "fausil", as in the shark demons. Stryker is supposed to be half-fausil, apparently, explaining how he can breathe underwater but Blitz can't. I'm guessing that the whole thing between Stolas and Vassago is probably meant to show that even though objectively Vassago is the ideal partner, Stolas just isn't going to be in love with him any more, and the two will end up breaking up amicably and staying as friends. Barb is basically Blitz without any of his character development. She has the potential to be better and apparently does save Blitz's life in this episode, but mostly she's here to show what Blitz would be like if he didn't have Moxxie, Millie and Stolas in his life.

Miranda Corvus

I think the biggest gut punch is the flashbacks Blitz has when Striker boasts about almost killing Stolas Learning his unsent text to Stolas that time was an apology for not being there just hurts.

Suplee215

I hope this doesnt come off as aggressive or petty. Just trying to be direct and i do find the discussions interesting The reward for being a better person is being a better person. Interpersonal relationships get easier tk maintain and you'll probably find a group you belong in even if it doesnt mend past ones for whatever reason. But really it's about yourself and i think Blitz displayed that at the end. He had extreme rage and self vomited but instead kf spiraling down a sitjation that could get him hurt worse he was able to at least fake it til he makes it although I do think theres a kernel of honesty. Blitzo is a very self destructive character and becoming a better will help him not self destruct as often.

Big preesh for the reupload. Happy Halloween!

2026-11-02 02:00 Blitzø's new problem now is that he's taking "being mature" to the toxic extreme of bottling up all his feelings, because he THINKS that's what it means. And worse? He's no conflate his suffering with everyone else's wellbeing. If he can just suffer in silence long enough, things will work out.

Vassasgo and Stolas work a little TOO well together and I'm getting twist villain vibes from him. Interesting that he isn't really good at the spell that let's him get a glimpse into the room of prophecies, but if he and Stolas can train Via to do it... ...and the cross over is coming, and we end with a shot of Heaven in the background.

Claire Berndt

I just noticed she called him Blitz, not Blitzo at 42:40

Taigan

@45:10. Is that an Owl House reference?!

kalia 🗿

i agree stolas n blitz really dont need to be together and never really been a fan of the ship in the first place lmaooo

Xetrov

This season is just putting Blitz through the wringer, meanwhile Stolas gets forgiven in a single song, though I like to believe/headcanon that it was not a full forgiveness by Octavia, just a "we're on ok terms now, I'm willing to give being a family a second chance"

Tristan N Milner

Well, Striker did set out to get some action. Glad Barbie sunk the Blitz X Striker ship. Amazon's subtitles are just bad. Like 90's daytime/ocean anime dub levels of bad. If anyone watched daytime anime during the 90's and 2000's, they watched a bastardized, heavily censored, whitewashed, incorrect version. @4:50 After everything Stolas has been through? He has earned some happiness. And a partner that can spell with excellent punctuation is so much better for Stolas than a violent prone, self destructive imp. @7:40 haeh? Didn't you learn from The Owl House that most of the witch trials where held by sad, pathetic men who were abusing their power to push a woman into putting out for them? Those "witches" are the original American #Metoo victims. @13:20 uuhhhh, can't help but noticing who that plushie is directly under Hamish as you say that. The one that's in all the videos you've recorded regardless of what shirt you're wearing. @41:20 Pink being used for soft relationships? Well, that explains why Rose Quartz was never serious with Pearl. Let's be honest. None of these cuts where as jarring as Arcane season one. Going from Vi and Cait resting on Cait's bed to Jinx in pain on Synge's table being operated on with shimmer. Granted Arcane put all of us through much more of an emotional journey than either Hazbin or Helluva.

Arcanity

Forgive the bluntness but it’s a soap opera romance if they’re not conquering impossible odds, what’s the point? I love what they’ve done with Vassago, they seem to be avoiding the narrative cowardice of making the alternate love interest an absolute git to prevent it being an actual choice that risks the audience preferring the other option.

Arcanity

I think it’s part of Blitz’s issue early in the season that he keeps on doing the thing that he thinks will finally reward him with love. As you say the end is a step towards being better for himself in contrast to the trial where he only adopts maturity when it visibly upsets Stolas.

Suplee215

I am not sure if he is doing that or the audience is reading jt that way. At least in this episode. I do think the ending is a genuine effort taking advice from Veroriska last season. I think since Trial of Error be been good. There might be some selfish motive to helping Stolas get the locket but its not entireely to get back with him.

Arcanity

To me Octavia’s change comes from seeing Stolas’ confession during the televised trial and re-evaluating their relationship (weird that it happened twice) before she agrees to meet. Most of the episode is her resisting the forgiveness she’s already considered because of the hurt caused and letting go of the hate rather than forgiveness manifesting in a single moment.

MC_Patreon

On the Stolas and Blitzø thing...I relate to both of them in different ways especially both sides of the end of episode 5 and how Blitzø felt at the end of episode 3 whilst I also understood that Stolas was trying to cope in his own way even if it was unhealthy and wrong... So basically I can see both of their viewpoints and thus can find the middle ground of the arguments about them...and it's so rough seeing anyone going against either of them because of that...especially since I can't say anything towards either thing because I agree that both have done bad things and that both are dealing with it in different ways and just- this owl and imp are gonna be the death of me...

Saga

I don’t agree that Vassago will ultimately be a good partner for Stolas. Every time Stolas doubts, or fears, Vassago just sweeps it under the rug. Which does make sense, because he’s seemingly very used to everything just working itself out, without ever reflecting on how easy his life has been. If Stolas were to stay with Vassago, he would lose his own voice, just like he feared in the flashback to them as teenagers. He’d be unintentionally smothered by someone who, as we’ve seen over and over again, decides FOR him instead of with him. Couple that with how Vassago acts exactly as he’s been taught to act towards non-Goetia - like they’re not real people - and this relationship will not hold. Blitzø is still (completely understandably!) not being clear with Stolas over just how much he cares, or how long he’s felt this way. I think that once the explosion happens, whatever form it takes, everyone in Blitzø’s life is going to be hit over the head with a sledgehammer with the fact that they have taken him for granted. And given how incapable Barbie seems to be of ever accepting any responsibility for her own actions, part of the answer to a happier life for Blitzø may be to let her go.

ShadowLightMew

Vassago is great indeed but but but Blitz though T_T

DrDewott

Im just happy to see Via and Stolas doing better, but yeah things absolutely suck for Blitz this season. His worst nightmare is coming true, making everyones lives worse, and dying alone. I feel like a big disaster is coming for him. It could be so bad that it could cause I.M.P as a whole to fall apart as a business. On top of that, I really feel like given what we heard in the previous episode with Mammon still trying to bring pain to Ozzy, that he could find a way to dismantle the Asmodean Crystals, including the one that Blitz uses. Worst case Blitz gets trapped in the Human world in a very bad situation, maybe even with the government dhorks, we havent seen those guys in several episodes now. And in that case who would even have the power to rescue him back to hell. Not Stolas, he doesnt have the Grimoire and can barely maintain a portal. But Via could perhaps. Definitely would be beautiful to see everyone come together for Blitz at some point, but I have a strong feeling that Blitz is gonna spiral even further before we see anything like that.

DrDewott

A: Yeah he is quite bad at picking up on the emotions of those around him. Even if he tries to make things clear, he just either does it at a bad time or overlooks the red flags. B: Definitely, he's spiralling. He really thinks hes making everyones lives worse, seeing those closest to him happier or in less danger without him. C: Yeah can I get that copium please? But also even if shes sincere, I kinda doubt her and Striker would be able to cooperate long term. D: This birb has had to have a legal address somewhere. Even if he's dating Vassago, it still seems like he's not spending the nights there with him (if they even spend time at whichever residence he has and not just restaurants or some fancy bookclubs and what have you), returning back home to Blitz' apartment after every get-together. Dating doesnt automatically mean moving in with someone after all. Though Vassago probably helped Stolas afford some fancier clothes.

Suplee215

This. Especially as she has come to realize Stolas isn't staying away by choice. But also Stolas was jn a situaton that must be very real to her because she can easily be ordered to marry someone tomorrow and be trapped like he was

Lichen

I feel ya on the not really shipping Stolitz anymore, and I’ve been getting the vibe since the first S3 drop that the writing might be steering away from them being endgame. I know a lotta folks that say Stolitz is confirmed endgame, but, even if those claims aren’t sourced out of context, that could 1000% be a lie from the team.. I think that last scene with Blitzø on the balcony is brutal but crucial; it’s first time we see him ‘being mature’ about all this in private, with no one to see, praise, or reprimand. He’s genuinely taking Verosika’s advice and applying it in earnest, even a few steps further considering the shift from “hope he gets laid” to “hope he’s happy.” Blitzø is undergoing a trial and demonstrating that he’s truly surpassed his prior mentality. That said, I’m worried about what comes next for Blitzø; I really feel like he’s about to undergo some sort of transformation or evolution. And, like, that weird little dissociative moment with the strained instrumentals while Stolas was talking about himself (again) near the end? I fear there could some emotional regression for Blitzø, perhaps wherein he feels like a dangerous monster that shouldn’t be around those he loves, esp after what Barbie said. And with a tiny baby on the way? Not that I think Moxie or Millie would oust him, but I think Blitzø might self-isolate. On a different note, I kinda don’t think Stolas is gonna make it outta this story alive. I’ve suspected the possibility since You Will Be Okay in season 1, (not to mention Crimson Sky had a parallel line! “ I used to think love would be fun” vs “ Love can't just be fun”) I don’t want Big Bird dead, but I think there’s a real chance he sacrifices himself again, this time possibly for Via and out of genuine selflessness. Finally, I really, really hope Vassago is not a twist villain. Partly cuz I like him, but also because I don’t think introducing a flamboyantly queer Latinx man and having him turn out to be evil or a predator would be in good taste in our cultural climate. Fortunately, he is formally quoted in the Lesser Key of Solomon as being “of a good nature,” so I’m hopeful that’s not the route they’re taking.

I agree 100000% with everything you've just said. Vassago is phenomenal, but it feels more like a fantasy rather than reality, and Stolas will eventually see that. Also, Stolas spent years hating the oppression and the gilded cage that royal life brings (tho he does like the riches it provides), and sooner or later he'll start to feel trapped in Vassago's circle just like he was in his. Another thing I don't see mentioned enough is that when he and Vassago graduated, there was a LOT of people there for Vassago and only 4 for Stolas, and of those 4, only the butler actually cares for him; Stolas will start to feel out of place cause the people in Vassago's life are not his people, his friends are not Stolas's friends. I.M.P. are Stolas's friends, and I can't imagine that not having negative repercussions with the circle of royals, which, again, represent everything Stolas hates about royal life. So as much as I love Vassago, they won't work.

Jared Bichler

Barb can't let go of the past because it would mean taking responsibility for the present.

Geass

Barbie still ranks higher than Stella in my books.

Maurice Isaac

Stolas and Octavia made up a little too quickly and cleanly, in my opinion. They put so much weight on Octavia deciding to cut ties with him at the end of last season, only for it to be resolved the very next time they see each other halfway into the next season. It just diminishes its impact in hindsight, as it doesn't feel much different from the other times he's had to apologize for neglecting her, only to do it again. It would've helped if we saw more of Octavia in between that time, we actually saw her reaction to the Judge Jiner show alongside all the people we did see watching it, and this was saved until the 2nd half of the season. I just wish they did more with Octavia outside of Stolas. With how much Blitz has been suffering lately, they're clearly setting him up to have him relapse into depression about everyone being better off without him. Frankly, I think Barbie is valid in her feelings towards Blitz. Whether it was an accident or not, knowing your brother was responsible for the death of your mother can be nearly impossible to move on from. Coming back to him just for a job was a bad idea, though. If she really wants nothing to do with him, it really is best that she keeps her distance from him. I am interested to see where they go with Barbie partnering with Striker. I agree that it's hard to root for Stolitz when it's been rooted in toxicity for so long and Vassago has always basically been the perfect boyfriend for him, but you just know they'll either make up some flaw for Vassago that makes him incompatible for Stolas or after Stolas notices how miserable Blitz has been, Vassago will let him go and tell him that Blitz needs him more or something.

Genital WarThunder

This may be a hot take: There are things that are truly unforgivable. Accident or no, Blitzo killed their mom. Sure we don’t know the relationship between Barbie and their mother but given how she treats Blitzo it was probably a very close one. Blitzo killing her in a temper tantrum? Yeah, Barbie has every right to not forgive him.

Jittercritter

Your comment about how things keep going terribly for Blitzø every time he tries to be nice is a major reason I started hating She-Ra so much. The narrative kept painting Catra as such a horrible and inherently broken person, but it’s not like she never tried to get better or do nice things, she DID and it blew up in her face every single time. Then when she got sick of trying and just committed to being a villain she was punished for that too, and the way it was framed narratively strongly implied that it was alllll her fault (that scene with Double Trouble just relentlessly victim blaming her for all of the abuse she faced and Catra becoming blatantly suicidal afterwards remains one of the most disgusting and infuriating writing choices I have ever had the displeasure of watching). REAAAAALLY hope they’re not going that direction with Blitzø’s story

Jittercritter

It’s also possible that they pulled a sneaky and they will be ‘together’ as friends, not (to quote my beloved hammer-wielding queen), “together-together”

Someday Sera

On top of that, it simply goes against a major theme of the show and of the conflict between him and blitz, which is the classism and racism of the rings. Stolas staying with his own kind as it were, ending up with a goetia, and somebody of the upper class, and then blitz presumably doing the same, ending up with another imp or succubus or something...it just kind of fails the narrative arc. I like vassago a lot, but, it doesn't really work for the story being told. I think it's probably more along the lines of moscos initial idea, that vassago will teach stolas what it means to have a healthy relationship, and a healthy breakup. That he will remain a friend and ally, but not a lover. (or...hell...maybe they go poly, that's an unconventional solution)

Someday Sera

Soooo....shipping discussion aside...if you pause during the second red flash when blitz is hitting striker after he almost chokes him out...the background contains something that feels very important.

Someday Sera

Yeah, it's worth remembering that she never really got to hear stolas explanation, or how sorry he was. The hot mic audio both gave that to her, and gave it to her in a scenario where she knew he wasn't trying to put on a show for her. That probably reframed things dramatically, not so much that she'd immediately forgive him, but so that she'd be willing to listen.

FuzzBird

Yeah...Barbie is my least favourite character too. I mean Stella's a bitch but she's so over the top and at least I can laugh at her sometimes 😆

SauceyRed

I was wondering what was up with the "foul soul" thing, I could tell it didn't quite sound like that's what they were saying, but I didn't connect it to "fausil." Thanks!

RoseMetal

I think that's a wild take on a gay man forced into an abusive marriage with mutual hatred between both partners finally trying to escape his horrific situation. Just because Via didn't understand his reasons doesn't make him a deadbeat

Momo

To each their own. He didn’t have to whore himself out in front of Octavia when Blitz was around. He wanted to get smashed more than he wanted to make his daughter happy. That’s still obvious now. He’s extremely male centered.

Momo

But we could also just say his emotional neglect for Octavia is the result of sloppy writing which wouldn’t be crazy

Patrycja Jamroży

I bet Blitz and Barbs father turned Barb against Blitz like he did with Fizz

Terrell

stolitz should just be friends imo. Im team vassago

Wealthy Toad

Barbie is very similar to Blitz but the main difference seems to be Barbie seems to be under the impression that she has done nothing wrong and every shity thing that happens to her is entirely everyone else's fault and blitz thinks every bad thing that happens to him is his fault
