i've been binge rewatching some of your mlp reactions so despite knowing this was helluva boss, i was entirely caught off guard hearing "imps and hellhounds" instead of "ponies and bronies"... had to reboot for a second there. Also "ringleader" was the song originally made by a fan, that same one that made the original "look my way" i think. The original Ringleader i think took place after s1 with Fizzarolli mocking Blitzo, but evidently they revamped it to RoboFizz mocking our Fizzie

Willow 404

My second comment on this video, but I saw a theory at some point that maybe the eyes of Roo only show up where sinners/hellborn have died, so maybe the reason there's soooo many in Loo Loo Land is because of all the imps Robofizz has been killing

Claire Berndt

Didn’t we see an eye of Roo move in Hazbin season 2 when Angel Dust was in the motel with Vox?

ShadowLightMew

Come one, come all, its the Fizzarolli ball!

Iago24

I don't belive that the eyes in the circus mean anything more than an eerie sense of being watched. In general, Hazbin and Helluva mainly use the eye motif to indicate that a character is either feeling under scrutiny or is actually being stalked by someone. I'm just not a huge fan of the Roo speculation, I suppose. There just isn't enough information about this character to give any real material for any kind of proper speculation. Even the "Root of All Evil"-bit seems to be just a fan theory at this point.

At least Elijah didn't tell you to wear a Loona shirt... ¬‿¬ So between Fizz mentioning "an egg costume" and wearing the trans flag colors at Loo Loo Land, are the writers trying to tell us something? And I didn't clock that the stuffie was a Jax imp... Seems Viv and the crew are determined to imperil every one of Blitz's relationships...

Liam Gradwell

The fan song was in fact The Ringleader by Paranoid DJ. So cool that two songs that are now canon 🤩

Phoenix_mercury

Loved that we got ringleader canonised, love that song so much!

Suplee215

I don't think Ozzie directly makes the robots/sex bots but his business does. Sin of lust so makes sense and I am pretty sure that also why he had spare parts for Fizz in an episode. Certainly a little weird but inthink Mammon paid for them to be made and sold from Ozzie's company..

Caz

the 'jax' themed plushie was around before digital circus, it's 'that thing' from the season 1 episode that millie wanted lol and we've never seen the eyes move in helluva, but the eyes followed angel dust in season 2 of hazbin when vox was about to ambush him, so!

RaisedEyebrow

I don't think Blitzø is falling for Fizz. I think he's grappling with old feelings about his old crush, and their new situation, and he's having to reconcile their recent change from "enemies" to tentative friends, while still grappling both with the feeling he USED to have for him, the feelings he currently has for Stolas, and the almost comically cruel contrast between their respective relationships. At this point, Fizz really has everything Blitzø wanted. Fame and fortune, sure. But especially to be loved by someone. And the fact that Fizz's partner is ALSO a higher station than him, like Stolas is, feels like an extra slap in the face.

Iago24

Yeah, it's a part of Ozzie's business to make sex toys, including the robots. I think he even mentioned in an earlier episode that manufacturing those things makes him uncomfortable.

Jin

I do believe that we see more of Roo's eyes in places where evil is or has taken place.

Willow 404

Viv has talked about Roo in some interviews as well as the fact that the eyes are a bit of an obvious sign to her later involvement in the series... here's a youtube link /watch?v=A7IiZIjMS8s

Phoenix_mercury

The stuffie wasn't Jax, it's the "thing" we've seen it before at the last loo loo land ep that mox tried to win for millie

Suplee215

I really want an episode of Ozzie and Blitz hanging out. I feel like the yea at the end is big mutual respect and that he does consider Blitz a friend outside of Fizz there.

Iago24

Yeah, I know that the character is associated with the eyes, but I disagree with the idea that the eyes are simply Roo foreshadowing. They have their own role in the visual storytelling of the two shows.

Alexandru Ulesan

Oh my Lucifer, it's the ApcALEXBRIGHTMANypse!!!!

Willow 404

It's fair to say it could have symbolism beyond just being related to Roo, but in the video I linked, viv herself said that "the eyes are everywhere. the implication is that she's seen everything this whole time so she really knows all the characters"

Roscoe

28:04 OH MY GOD HOW DID I NOT CATCH THAT

Roscoe

Also, I think we did see the eyes of Roo following Angel Dust in the motel in Hazbin Hotel episode 2X6

Roscoe

just to clarify: yes Ozzie did make the Fizz-Bots, but he says in the Mammon episode that he only does it because he has to as part of his deal with Mammon and he doesnt like doing it.

The fanmade song was Ringleader, originally released by PARANOiD DJ 4 years ago, with different lyrics, characters, context, etc. The song Fizz and Blitzø listen to in the car, on the other hand, features the vocals of Krystina Alabado, the voice of Cherri Bomb in Hazbin! Also, it definitely seems like Vivzie and her team like taking musicians from the fandom and inviting them to make official contributions to the soundtrack. PARANOiD is the third. First was Silva Hound with Addict. The original song released February 2020 as a single, but the officially produced music video wasn't around until five months later. But, this was back in the pre-Amazon era. In the current canon era, the first fan-song artist to become official is rather an important one: Sam Haft. He has been a member of The Living Tombstone since 2017, and in 2020 (just over a week before the Addict MV dropped, in fact), they released "Alastor's Game". Now, while Sam is still a member of TLT, he is also the primary songwriter for the ENTIRE HELLAVERSE!! Not to mention, TLT have also been made official to a lesser extent, since the only officially released Hellaverse remix was The Living Tombstone's version of Poison. Silva has also made an appearance in the current canon era, with the song Monster's Ball from the HB S1 finale (also featuring Lollia and Chi-Chi, the latter of whom provided the vocals for Cherri in Addict, whicg brings us full circle!!) Then, PARANOiD DJ has now had two fan-songs canonised, with Just Look My Way and Ringleader, each one appearing in-universe multiple years after the originals released, and featuring the official voices instead of PDJ's impressive impressions, with reworked lyrics due to context changes, and remastered audio. This makes PDJ the unique artist of the three, since Addict wasn't changed at all between the original and offical versions, and other than that, every other song from the two other "from-the-fandom" artists across the current-canon Hellaverse were written specifically for the show, instead of being reworked fan-songs. None of Silva's other Hellaverse songs (Redemption Arc, Radio Play, Royal Flush, etc) have ever been adapted officially, and Sam Haft/The Living Tombstone didn't have any other Hellaverse fan-songs to adapt anyway. The only slight exception is You Will Be Okay, Stolas' lullaby to Via in Season 1, which Sam originally wrote as a personal lullaby, but it wasn't a Helluva fan-song that got adapted; just a personal song that the songwriter decided to repurpose.

Albedo12

Fizz's phone case says "Queen Clussy"

Miranda Corvus

When they say Fizzy's past affair's he's not meaning an affair with Blitz He means it like how you say financial affairs, foreign affairs, public affairs. Also I said so on Elijah's video but I stand by it so I'll say it again, the two evil Fizzys have Joker and Harley Quinn vibes-

ArthurianMyst

^This, we've seen an eye or two blink in some backgrounds, but the first time we ever saw from "their" perspective, or following someone in a room was in the Motel scene in Hazbin.

Geass

I wouldn't be surprised if Roo turned out to be nice, or at least, pretended to be.

ZackAkai

Chiming into say yes, the "Root of all Evil" is a fan theory thing (i.e. not canon), at least last I read.

Tristan N Milner

Welcome to the Halloween episode and best song, Ringleader, of the season! Hopefully Loona learns NOT to shout out her surprise attack next time. Big thank you to Fizz for wearing Trans colors. It's reminded me to watch the full raw unedited Nimona reaction. Also, that plushie is "The Thing" from the last time we where at Loo Loo Land way back in season one. Long before that circus show was even created. If anything, that abusive jerk in a rabbit onesie stole the palette from that plushie. Now, way more IMP-ortant than that silly Roo nonsense, like at 31:30 making you forget something setup earlier in this episode, is Robo-Fizz wearing a hat that look a Helluva lot like Lucifer's. Pun's 100% intentional. God complex? maybe. Or planning to become THE ringleader of all of Hell?

Arcanity

I don’t think the show is setting up a Blitz and Fizz romance plot. It’s for Blitz to have an understanding and acceptance of why Stolas is pursuing his teenage crush which would be a significant step on his path from self-ascribed selfish asshole to man of maturity.

TNTJ Rock

Not sure if intended, but the bofy of the now headless fizz-bot has wings that are painted in blood on the ground. (50:49)

Someday Sera

I think Ozzy calls Fizz froggy because of his scratchy voice. At least here in the us, if you getting sick and losing your voice, it's sometimes described as "having a frog in your throat" Fizz's damaged voicebox makes it sound like he always has a frog in his throat, ergo, Froggy. (and yeah, I think elijah's theory on roo is probably right)

Jared Bichler

Blitz still has a spark for Fizz. But he knows his friend is happy without him. So, like with Stolas, he's burying his feelings. Plus, we all know Ozzie would kill Blitz.

Jared Bichler

An eye of Roo actually moved when Angel Dust was hypnotized by Vox at the hotel room.

Jared Bichler

That idea about the amount of Eyes of Roo being linked to a locations bloody history is interesting.

Jared Bichler

This was the perfect episode to air before Halloween.

Jittercritter

This episode brings out the best of Blitzø

Tgriff02

I'm devestated that she missed the Queen Bee "Eat Out" while holding a taco gag, lol.

Corvacks

Ozzie did mention in one of the earlier episodes that he hated making those sex dolls for Mammon

Suplee215

Yea I forgot about that.

Corvacks

I think imps are basically modelled on frogs. Remember in the episode where Loona gets her Hellbies shot, someone refers to Blitz as a fire frog but it's seen as a slur.

Someday Sera

That's a good point, it could be that too.
