So glad you guys dropped this early. I really enjoyed this season and very happy we got season 8 coming. The reveal that Ellington was Denise's son was amazing. Some people figured it out because of the early mention of his uncle, which was a reference to a Cosby show storyline where Theo was diagnosed with dyslexia. I agree with both, I do think the OG cast is just more dynamic than the new cast, but we also had the benefit of way more episodes to get to know them. The lead actress who plays Deborah is really good. She's already got a Grammy and a Tony award and she's just turned 24.

I don’t like Denise son Ellington. I remember when they had the bomb threat he and Candace were sitting with their heads together talking about Shaquille and Deborah. I can’t wait for Whitley to find out Dwayne secretly called Denise. That’s who Dwayne really wanted, remember when he went to Denise’s house in New York thinking that he was going to get back together with Denise then he found out she had married Martin. Dwayne went back to Hillman. He never really knew how he felt about Whitley. He only wanted her when someone else wanted her. For Dwayne , Denise is the one who got away. Lena asked him do you want Whitley on your team or not? The original cast is what I liked about the show. Hopefully they will be back for season 2. For me they are what’s keeping me interested. As for as the kids I sure hope Shaquille will be back, but if he is going to Colorado I wonder how he is going to get back to Hillman? I guess we will find out in season 2.

It’s funny cause the boys are my fav cast, Shaq, Amir and Kojo. I like them more than the girlies. Can you blame me🤷🏽‍♀️😭 and no Cornell who plays Shaquille isn’t a Model but he definitely got the everyone in chokehold right now. He definitely a fan favorite. see yall 2027 for season2. These characters will likely grow on you as we peal back their layers!!! I enjoyed the season and than god the OG cast were very apart of it and had their own storyline.

It’s also been reported that A different is the second most watched show in its debut week with 980 million views. So yeah we in for at 5 if not 6 seasons.

Loved this. And also, Lena is still married to Dorian. Kim is still married to Spencer. So really, the only ones who didn't make it were Ron and Freddie which I never saw lasting anyway.😂
