Looking forward to this episode. Just wanted to say I really liked the thorough newsletter on the IS-K bombing

John. Reliable assassins? In this economy? You have to import if you want any sort of quality

William

Obviously the contractor sub contracted to a cheaper guy, who also cut corners. This is what the American empire has come to - Cuban exiles just don’t want to kill politicians anymore

as long as we're being pedants about pronunciation I think any name as evil as "Otto Reich" needs a stereotypically thick german accent when you say it just so people know what they're dealing with

Deferring the Clinton Foundation corruption to another episode. Bold move, Cotton.

Does anyone know if money wire transfers are still going through to Haiti? I live in a small town with a Haitian community and I helped one send a wire transfer last week and expect to see more. It went through at our end but I wonder what it's like there.

David Andrews

Solid topic and quality guest. Haiti is a great example of the US helping/not helping.

If Ke is coming they have a good mandate and legitimacy to come, I just over the economic incentives and see that the payment is backed by beach property once everything calms down. Great job UN. (Property rights and incentives joke, sad about Gaza, plus low on cash...)

Please do right by Haiti and invite @grosmorne39 to the show.

I think the advantage with foreign assassins is that, in theory, they're less traceable. Local snitches have nothing on them and after the hit they'll fly back home so how is an investigator going to find and interrogate them? If they get caught though, they have no loyalty and will sing like the proverbial canary. I read an interview with Henry Hill, the Goodfellas guy, who said this was why they used Sicilians from Italy for these kinds of jobs, and called them "zips" because they zipped in and out. (He also said they had no conscience lol)
