John, if you haven't looked at it, I would recommend getting an air filtering unit like this one: https://alen.com/products/alen-breathesmart-flex-hepa-air-purifier?currency=USD&variant=12172963053635&stkn=bf6d2182892b&tw_source=google&tw_adid=&tw_campaign=19690740365&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAADzwL_Tvy0GW-kh22IV4Y2rlTSg8m&gclid=CjwKCAjw26KxBhBDEiwAu6KXt5G17quXRjE4LzjwcMvwvN_eH-w24lmfr1tsNbrsX2dbogS_dfyYThoCgdcQAvD_BwE Has helped me tremendously with some really annoying breathing problems while I sleep

HarshMalarkey

Feel like its been a while since I heard of a Dolan-esque medical fever dream. I was getting worried that you were totally fine.

ploob

You need to find a bee guy and buy some bee pollen off them John.

Sean Kelly

Any chance there is going to be an audio version of Erdogan Pizza?

Joe Bowden

Plaster is how everyone apart from americans call band aids. Its not archaic. Surprised someone so well read as John has never heard of the word plaster😄

William

I would say, luckily for us, a big chunk of elites never learn history and we have recurring opportunities to bend the arc of justice because of that

William

At a minimum, blinken probably deserves to be alternately waterboarded and kept in solitary confinement with the screams of pain from his victims depriving him of sleep

Ossi Tapio

Of all of the Ukrainians that have fled to EU how many want to return to Ukraine regardless of the outcome of the war?

Magic Mikey

I suggest you get Prof. Mearsheimer on. He's most well known for discussing the causes of the Ukraine war but he's quite the war nerd too. He'd likely challenge and deepen your analysis of the Ukraine war, which has become better but is still behind the alt media curve (being ahead of the MSM curve isn't all that impressive given the masses of lies and delusions they still engage in with this war). Or if you're feeling spicy you could get on author and military expert Andrei Martynov, his 2018 book losing military supremacy is incredibly prescient given recent events. It is IMO a must read for any war nerd hoping to understand current events.

Get a steroid shot for the allergies John it works!

I think the issue of manpower for Ukraine is only partly demographic. I mean, there are no official numbers, but I think a reasonable estimate for the death toll for Ukraine would be around 150k KIA and perhaps twice as many seriously wounded for about 500k irretrievable losses. That's pretty severe, but like you compare it to, say, what France sustained in the first years of WWI and it's not overwhelming. It hits harder, given the demographics of Ukraine, but it's not like France at the time was great either. So you still need other explanations. You mentioned the fact that so many people are living abroad, which is a big factor, but I think it's also that Ukrainian institutions just aren't able to sustain the pressure of something this scale. Remember that in the last year, like, every regional head of the recruitment office was sacked in a huge corruption scandal. The double whammy that caused in terms of organizational disruption and public demoralization is probably a big part of why manpower issues are hitting right now. And I don't think the people rushed in to fill the gap are going to be up to the task of recruiting 500k, using already spotty records that have only gotten worse during the war.

I don't think that Israel cares about targeting the next generation so much because it's a religious country where you have to practice that religion at a certain level to be an acceptable citizen. I don't think they see secular Jews abroad as really of the same species, and certain religious Jews also aren't really worth their time because they're TOO religious. Anyway, if your main goal is reclaiming specific land to rebuild the Temple of the Lord, somebody who is 4,000 miles away and not producing children at a rate to populate that land doesn't interest you. All they want is to keep that defense umbrella and whoever can provide it in the US is fine, Jewish or not.

You can’t launch a nuke if you can’t reach the button —> you can’t launch a drone if you have no one to pilot it.

CR

He would just get off to those screams.

Kawaii Leonard

Hey guys. Can’t wait to listen. Humbly recommending talking to someone about the strange life and death of Russell “Texas” Bentley. Crazy and unfortunate story in many ways.

"Allergic to olive trees in southern Italy" is an all-time War Nerd ailment.

Just to say, ive been Watching the myanmar war fairly closely and I think the NYT map is a bit over optimistic about the rebel held territories right now. They definitely have the momentum and I expect the tatmadaw to lose, but this seems to attribute too much territory as clearly belonging to the rebels (with some areas in shan state just wrongly colored in general)

AG

John, you said Americans don't object much about anything but they did this time regarding Colobia University. Hiw can we object? I live in a suburb of Houston and when I write my congressmen or the white house to voice an opinion they ignore me. All I plan to do is protest vote instead of voting for Biden.

Damnboooi

It’s rare to accurately predict world politics years in advance but his assessment of direction of the Ukraine conflict is spot on for over a decade

Damnboooi

Apparently 5 of the 31 Abrams we’ve sent have already been destroyed with the rest being taken off the front line due to drone threats. We did it Joe.

Craig Wilson

Come for the analysis, stay for the health updates!

Matt Colston

Fascinating, maybe that explains all the air force recruitment commercials.

Mark Ames

agree, it's social-political (see our talk with Volodymyr Ishchenko) as well as demographic, which is also a consequence of social-political disasters

JoR

Yeah I agree, what can you even do? Protest and either get the shit beat out of you and arrested, and/or get fired and lose your already tenuous livelihood

Peter Z

I'm glad John mentioned mercenaries. No doubt a fertile special forces training ground for the west. I'm sure we'll see a large uptick.

Dorst Savijeski

Many headaches, can be solved with a good pro-biotic. This thinktank web of policy capture is disgusting.

Tyler Berglund

I highly recommend the Polish film ‘Never Gonna Snow Again’ (2020). It follows a Russian speaking Ukrainian immigrant in Poland. Its a interesting commentary on how wealthy Polish suburbanites use immigrants fleeing poverty. (that summary is an over simplification, its a very strange film). It seemed relevant to Ukraines demographic woes brought up in this episode.

Jacob Kreier

Hopefully John can get hold of a good second generation anti-histamine, azelastine nasal spray, a neti-pot and some immunotherapy injections. I'm allergic to everything as well and it helps.

J P 3

Same. Letters and phone calls do have some impact, but only on the margins. It would have more impact if it was coordinated with hundreds of thousands of other people, but when I get donation solicitations in the mail from genocide supporting politicians, I return the pre-postage paid envelope with a $0 donation. If they want to keep sending me pre-postage paid envelopes, I will keep sending them back. I figure the postage-paid envelopes are diverting money to a service that provides a more useful function (funding the United States Postal Service).

AG

My new way of voicing discontent is responding to every spam call and spam text with some version of 'gaza is genocide' One of those spams responded as if they were real person apologizing for the mistake and I just doubled down. I love when I get messages like Barak Obama is saying dems... ' Barak is a war CRIMINAL!'

Sean Atkinson

our leadership lacks imagination? The objective of the American military policy is to be a sales flywheel for pentagon contractors. As American elite see it, and have seen it since the inception, pentagon contracting is the fundamental basis of their prosperity. Our wars and entire patriotic PR envelope must be understood in this context.

Sean Atkinson

In this light, the Ukrainian war has met its objectives perfectly. Pentagon contractors sales are up. there is nothing mystical about it, stop pretending that you don't understand the actions of our leadership and start making some conclusions on the significant information available.

Sean Atkinson

Read State and Revolution for starters.

Sean Atkinson

Also, the good thing is that at least now you're asking the right questions.
