Hope it's not Gout Brendan!! I'm relatively young, started getting gout around 26 while working at a liquor store (and drinking 12 to 18 beers with a fifth of rye every day). Even if the Ukrainians had the components to build Patriot missiles on their own, why wouldn’t Russia just bomb the plant? The real big brain move would be to give the license to some other European country that Russia would be more reticent to attack.

Sy Hersh said that it was the US that blew up the pipeline with Norwegian help. I think the jury is still out on who actually planted the device, but I think whoever did it had the backing of US intelligence.
