"There is a higher power than all of us - something higher than kings, demons, or gods. There is an infinity that resides above all, an eternal concept that persists after all of us are gone. The infinite void of the cosmos envelopes us in its warm embrace, and it is our sacred duty to preserve and explore it." - Aeteria, Cleric of Infinity.

That would be a great quote to include on this page, but alas, there is no room for it. This is one of the subclasses I was more excited about - it has incredible flavor that really embodies my love for space, and quite a unique mechanical concept (finally using exploding dice!)
The cleric progression is generally similar - a proficiency or minor feature at 1st level for flavor, along with a potent ability. The 2nd level Channel Divinity option introduces a strong single-use feature, and the 6th level feature provides a nice boon to fill whatever niche the subclass occupies. The 8th-level is always the same (Divine Strike or Potent Spellcasting), to boost cleric power, and the 17th-level feature is a nice, but not-too-strong capstone (because 9th-level spells are now available).
Let's dive into the Infinity Cleric:
Level 1 provides some intelligence proficiencies, since it's more of a cerebral flavor. There's no reason to provide martial proficiencies, so the 8th-level feature is Potent Spellcasting.
Level 1 also provides a buff for you and your allies. True to its name, the design reflects this by technically providing "infinite" bonus with the buff, though at extremely small probability. Nice, but not as good as Peace Cleric.
Level 2 Channel Divinity the other exploding dice feature. Its base effect is fear, but creates helpful effects if you're lucky. Using anydice, there's ~57% chance of meeting the prone threshold; a 25% chance of meeting the incapacitated, and a 9% chance of a full stun. Of course, this is assuming the creature fails its common Wisdom save.
Levels 6 & 17 are different ways to extend your range, which fits well with the theme. Extended attacks help with producing effects from a distance.
