The monk, adorned with bells hanging from his wrist and ankles, leaps fearlessly into the fray. He deftly strikes the bandit with his elbow, ringing with every strike. With every crash of the bell, the bandit is pushed by a mystical force, harder, until he loses his footing and falls...

It was so hard to avoid doing another Bard/Cleric combo, since those are the easiest to start a design on. However, I wanted to try something different, or a try a class I don't usually make subclasses for.
The monk follows a typical design: a moderately strong 3rd-level feature that benefits the existing monk kit, a roleplay or utility-focused feature for 6th level, and a strong boost at 11th level and even stronger one at 17th level to coincide with the power spikes.
The Ring of Harmony provides skill proficiencies and a way to still have a bell, which is required for the other features. Pretty similar to Kensei.
The Resonant Technique provides a solid boost for fighting mages and battlefield control. Pushing creatures is powerful, and can move enemies into danger or out of reach for an escaping ally.
The Warding Dissonance feature provides a sensory feature (like Astral Self's magical sight), and a feature that pushes hostile creatures away to protect your friends. Because of how useful it is, the feature requires an action to activate.
Destructive Frequency is a good boost for Level 11. You only deal the extra damage when you strike 3+ times against the same target, which makes you even better at being a single-target monk.
Dominating Resonance is a much weaker version of Dominate Monster, but it's a nice alternative to stunning a creature at the cost of 3 ki points, allowing you to do some interesting things. Not as strong as Open Hand or Long Death, who can deal up to 6d10 necrotic damage with just 3 ki points.
