[Jungles] Item - Fissure (Patreon)

Fissure is one of two (and hopefully three) items imbued with the strength of a deity. Once wielded by An Pala, the God of Fire, War, Volcanoes, Magma and Violence, this macuahuitl summons the destructive power of fire upon your enemies.

A macuahuitl essentially functions the same as a greatsword - heavy with extremely sharp obsidian blades embedded in the sides. The designs depict blood-soaked magma cores spewing smoke to a volcanic eruption.

This item has a few interesting things going for it - an attunement check/saving throw, and the automatic ability to reform itself over time. Because deities in Huapaca more embodied ideas than actual beings, they are not so easily destroyed! There's also a 5% chance you get to make an extra attack against your targets, with an even slimmer chance to instantly killing them. Imagine critting twice against a dragon who unfortunately fails that save!
