NightwhisperWeapon (longbow), very rare (requires attunement)Carved from a dying willow and strung with a dreamweaver's silk, this rumored bow has allegedly repelled outsiders from the cryptic night elves. Even then, the weapon has not been seen by anyone for centuries. Some speculate the Midnight Specters veil themselves in a secret passage behind the raging waters of the Glimmerfalls, visible only in full moonlight.To attune to this weapon, you must spend the entire duration of the attunement period in complete darkness. Any light cast on the weapon ends the attunement period early, and you must try to attune again from the beginning.Gloom Strike. You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls you make with this weapon, and you deal an additional 1d6 cold damage to creatures you hit with it.Dark Whispers. While attuned to this bow, you connect to the voices of night. While you are in an area of dim light or darkness, you can telepathically whisper to another creature you can see within 120 feet of you that is also in dim light or darkness. The creature cannot respond telepathically.Night's Guide. While wielding this weapon, you can use an action to shoot an arrow from it and whisper its command word, allowing you to control the arrow's flight. Until the arrow hits a target, you can cause it to silently fly up to 600 feet and even make turns, provided it has a 15-foot radius to do so. If it is nighttime, the arrow can instead fly up to 1,200 feet. You can even guide the arrow to places you cannot see by providing it a specific set of directions, such as "turn left 90 degrees, fly 30 feet, then turn right 45 degrees." If you attempt to hit a creature you can see with this shot, you have a +10 bonus to the attack roll. You can use this property twice, and regain expended uses at midnight.
