This hardy perennial flower grows naturally in rocky or arid environments, but sometimes spring up in junkyards and abandoned battlefields. Their curious diet of of minerals and metals form their famous sharp blade-like petals, with colorations that vary from silver to rusted brown. Dwarves and gnomes enjoy cultivating bladepetals with special or rare metals in small flowerbeds. Botanists caution adventurers from running through larger fields of them.

Harvest. You can use an action to pick a bladepetal flower, making a DC 15 Dexterity (Sleight of Hand) check. On a success, you retrieve the flower. On a failure, you still obtain a bladepetal, but you cut yourself on its sharp petals and take 2d4 slashing damage.

Bladepetal Flower. When found, each flower has 1d4+4 petals. When you take the Attack action, you can pluck one petal and make a weapon attack with it. Each petal has the same statistics as a dagger. If you are able to make multiple attacks on your turn, this attack replaces one of them. Once picked, a petal loses rigidity within the hour and can no longer be used as a dagger.
