Scientific drawings have some sort of clear rigid awesomeness to it that I wanted to capture for this art! The ability to really dive into the inner workings and cross sections of their seeds was such a fun project for me.

This meandering tree provide warmth and heat in otherwise inhospitable locales, typically as groves along main streets of snowy cities or from small pots inside local homes. They are recognized primarily by their leaves, which have a flame-like shape and a red-brown coloration tinged with red at its ends. Umber yellow veins on the leaf glow when held against sunlight.

Harvest. You can use an action to pick a leaf from a cinderleaf tree, which retains its warm feel for 1 minute. 

Cinderleaf Salve. Leaves from a cinderleaf tree retain its warm and heating properties. Over the course of 1 minute, you can apply a handful of this salve to the skin of a creature, granting it resistance to cold damage for 1 hour. 

Cinderleaf Salve Recipe

Primary Ingredient: At least 20 fresh leaves from a cinderleaf tree, still warm.

Secondary Ingredients: Swamp clay (2 oz), insect chitin (1 oz)

Procedure: Press for 2 hours under careful heat of 140 degrees

Check: DC 15 Wisdom check using herbalism kit

Success: 1 handful of cinderleaf salve
