The final day of this very long journey has finally come! I've had so much fun reacting to this show and season and I hope you've enjoyed my reactions even though it took me a while to finish it. I know I usually talk a lot but especially during some of these episodes I just can't shut up lol but that's because I got so invested in this show and these people!

I feel like I learned so much about life and dating just from watching this. Learning about flawed human behavior in general that we can all relate to. I don't believe any of these people are bad and I KNOW they've all learned so much about themselves going through it for the world to see is so brave. Being so vulnerable and admitting to having behaved badly is a brave thing to do. We're all human and we learn through making mistakes and I believe we have to forgive people when they do that (depending on what they've done, of course)

Long comment incoming oops. What a journey omg, can’t believe we’ve finally finished this show! It’s a bittersweet feeling hahaha, I’ve enjoyed your reactions so much! It’s been so so fun to watch this season again with you and to hear your thoughts. There isn’t much to say really as this episode was more of a…..conclusion? to everything. To give you some updates on the final couples now, tae-i and naeon aren’t together, I believe they were for a while but decided to go back to being friends, they interact a lot though and even did a calvin clein ad together a few months back haha. Haeeun and Hyungyu are still together! They are very private and keep their relationship offline which I can imagine is a result of how popular they were after the show and how much pressure and attention was on them and their relationship. They still do activities individually but not as a couple. And, shocker- nayeon and heedo are still together lollll, who would’ve thought. I can’t lie I did not agree with them choosing each other in their final decisions in the slightest but hey, they seem to be happy now so I’ll hold my tongue lmao. I don’t know if you’ve heard but there is actually a spin-off show going on right now where cast members from all three seasons go back on the show for ‘another chance’ so it’s not EXchange as there are no exes but more like a normal dating show? I haven’t been watching so I don’t fully know the whole premise but it’s interesting to see! Naeon, jiyeon and gyumin are cast members on this! Also, I’ve seen some people mention season 3 for after you do a different show, and I also recommend it. However, that season is quite different from this one, it’s not as raw? imo. I think with how popular season 2 was, the s3 contestants had a lot of pressure on them to only show the best side of themselves in order to avoid the gyumin treatment etc lmao. So if you ever do think abt doing season 3, go into it with the knowledge that it won’t be as…..dramatic so to say. Saying this though, there’s apparently a season 4 coming out this year after the spin-off so maybe when the time comes you may feel like watching a show like this in real time? Just a thought lol. Anyways, thank you so much for your reactions to this show and for how much time you spent on this! It’s been a wild ride lmao. 💙

Ugh Hae eun & Gyumin’s last goodbye made me cry more than my own breakup LMAO. They definitely needed that moment. I’m so proud of Hae eun for letting go of him but also Gyumin for respecting and supporting her decision. Though they didn’t choose each other, it doesn't change the fact that they're each others’ one beautifully completed chapter in life.

From what I heard, they edited the conversation between HN and GM to be longer than it actually was (the scene where HG was waiting). Most of that conversation was before they drove to HG because, let's be honest, they had a lot to talk about. But for a more dramatic effect, they decided to make it seem like HN was contemplating until the last moment, even though all of them already submitted their decision before these conversations. Same goes for pretty much all the last conversations across all seasons, decisions are made and submitted to producers the morning before those confessions/conversations with their exes.
