The MMA performance lives rent free in my head. Omg I love it so much. The way they beautifully told their story up through that point with dance was just absolutely stunning. Kai was supposed to wear the jacket but he couldn’t get it fully on so then he decided to ditch it but honestly he made it look so cool. Will forever hate mama even though we get the coolest performances there 😭 But them with a live band is why I’m so excited for you to watch their lolla performances because their music is craaazzzzzyyyyy with a live band! They shine so much. Their outfits for SBS fit more with their cover of DNA that they did right before this 😅 Taehyun’s hair was pink for every performance! They just didn’t touch it up during the award season. Them shouting was such a power move. Around this time there were allegations they lip sync and they were maaaaaddddd. They really said fuck you and screamed their lyrics. Im so curious what you are talking about after mma 😂 pfffttt what did you watch first… Waiiitttt did you watch the concept trailer for The Name Chapter? 😂 🫣

I was waiting for the reaction to these performances because MMA and MAMA 2022 were really some of my favorite performances! Whenever I see an opening sequence performance I really freak out! It's amazing to listen to live, especially Terry's vocals. I loved that they allowed Yeonjun to perform Lonely Boy, because he doesn't have many opportunities to show his rap and he can do it at such a big event as MAMA, although I agree with you Johan, would be even better with Kai's vocals included. I love how TXT always releases a little teaser/spoiler at the end of the year for the next era and often announce the title of the next chapter! That's why they are different in kpop, that's why they are The storytellers of kpop. I think that "goodbye Romeo" is simply a way of saying goodbye to the good and passionate boy who does everything for love and that's why the symbolism of Yeonjun taking off the ring, because the relationship is over, the boy in love is over. I don't know if you knew, but in MMA, in the part where Beomgyu lights the lighter, he was supposed to set a rose on fire and throw the burning rose behind him, but during the performance he couldn't find the rose so he improvised on the spot by lighting the lighter and pretending to throw it and set the stage on fire. And in MAMA, in the part of the duo choreo between Soobin and Yeonjun, they were both supposed to dance blindfolded, but at the moment Soobin couldn't hold the scarf so he improvised by putting it in his mouth, which was brilliant. This is a proof that TXT are more than just artists, they are performers, they are talented and experienced and I simply loved how both Gyu and Bin thought so quickly and made it unnoticeable, making it seem like part of the choreo. I love my boys. I recommend that in the future, perhaps after you are catch up with all the eras, you watch all the dance practices of these end-of-year performances, because in addition to being very worthwhile, you can better see several details that are not seen so well in the performance, largely due to the terrible camera work of MAMA and MMA. YES, Beomgyu setting the rose on fire was iconic! So glad they showed it in the practice and he got to do it again on stage again at a later date! I low-key prefer Soobins blindfold in his mouth- it was great improvisation!
