This was even more brutal than last episode.. I'm find myself rooting for more C planet trainees atm which makes me worried for the future 😭 I'm so ready for the groups to merge and for us to start seeing them practice for some performances.

Even though so many trainees are gone and I'm sad about that, it makes it easier (for me, at least) to notice and remember the trainees that are left. I'm excited about the future episodes but there are so many things that annoy me so I feel very torn lol 🫠 We'll see what happens. Let me know your thoughts in the comments~

Yes this episode is kinda heartbreaking.. And I had just seen those hate posts on Jaejoong's comments to the trainees from this episode that made me sad 🥹 And yeah the criticized comments from Jaejoong's were on the Boy Story's audition performance...

I'm so annoyed by the comments towards Boy Story. It felt like a walking contradiction. Their performance was so good, but Li Zhao and Hanyu couldn't get all all-star because of their visuals. Hanyu's performance has never been hindered before by his so-called "weight". Even though he did well for the Solar performance, you could tell Hanyu's confidence was shot. They have stamina, so what was the reason? He posted a goodbye letter on Twitter and said he was working hard to lose weight. No, don't lose any, you don't need to. He has always had cheeks when growing up, and they all look the same from when they were younger. Are they supposed to get plastic surgery now or something? Also, the difference between K all-stars and C-stars is absurd, Mnet. I'm so irritated. Also, 36 C contestants got eliminated, and that's absurd.

Jaejoong did weverse live the night before when he saw all the hate comments on his sns &when he watched the broadcast,he's shocked because that part was evil edited. He knew this will happened when he joined this programme. He has been told by his colleagues about the evil editing before he joined b2p, as mnet is really known for it before. For those who sent all the hate comments, lucky for them, Jaejoong is kind enough not to take any legal action, because he did it before & discovered that the person involved was middle school boy/girl. If those votes are not influenced by visuals & only talents, I think those with talents should be at the top of rankings. So please refrain from making harsh malicious comments

Can’t believe the disparity in the number of people that were disqualified. If you were going to only let a few of them through to the next round, then why start at the same number of people? Start smaller and at least make it seem a little fair. So frustrating. But here’s who got my vote… tried to keep it 4 + 4 Lee Leo Lee Sang won Kim Tae Jo Hsu Ching Yu Sun Heng Yu Zhang Jia Hao Chen bo wen Fan Zhe Yi I also really wanted to vote for Anxin but I’m having a hard time dropping some of the others who are voted lower in general.

A lot of people drop out of the rankings in survivals bc a lot of people stop voting them cauz they think the contestant is safe, Sunoo is the perfect example has first in the online votes and got 8th in the final cauz people thought he was safe (thank got the producers chosed him 😭) and this happens every in survivals unfortunately

in my opinion the jaejoong henyu situation was blown out of proportion a bit 😅 prior to watching the episode, when i only knew of the situation from social media discourse, i thought he said something much much worse, but, like was said, realistically it's nothing that idols don't already hear behind the scene in probably much harsher forms. what he said was absolutely uncalled for and he SHOULD be criticized for it, but the hate train he's going through for it currently is horrible and disproportionate, i've seen ppl retort to insulting his adopted parents and saying his biological parents did the right thing abandoning him. don't really get it why ppl were having these expectations for him to be the guardian angel of all the trainees on an mnet survival show of all places either, clearly his survival show persona was gonna be very different from how he is in the relaxed and informal setting of jaefriends. anyway, what we all agree on, both haters and fans for different reasons, is that he's not built for survival shows 😭 he may be a great mentor for vocals but no, never again hopefully. hope this situation didn't change your opinion on him too much bc i genuinely enjoy your reactions to him

some of the eliminated trainees mentioned they only had three days to learn the choreography—and on top of that, they were given the wrong version, so they ended up practicing something completely different from the korean team. the chinese trainees had it even harder, since they had to learn the korean version too because of mnet’s sudden changes, like merging the two planets, which wasn’t even the original plan. just imagine how stressed they must’ve felt. seeing so many of them get eliminated was genuinely heartbreaking. at this point, i don’t even have the energy to be angry anymore. the way they don’t even try to hide their sinophobia is exhausting.

jiahao kept his all-star ranking through every test and was even a center candidate, yet he barely got any screentime—not even when he was showcasing his skills for the center or during the evaluations. all we got was him eating snacks… oh mnet, you will pay for this. it’s so obvious they don’t want us to focus on him, and that just means they’re scared. and rightfully so—he’s that good. he’s easily the best dancer out of everyone, and i’d even say he’s nearly on yumeki’s level. honestly, they should do a dance battle just for fun and giggles. jiahao, i love you. you’re going to debut no matter what.

i rly appreciate and like your takes on things, hope u dont feel the need to stay silent! ive also been into kpop for 15 yrs so i get the comments from industry ppl though i truly dislike it, wont agree with most of them. wish they were said with more care. love planet c and their unity, my sons who deserve so much better ;A;

Jaejoong came on Weverse live the other night and talked about this. They spent a long time talking with Boy Story and only a tiny portion was cut and rearranged for the broadcast. Apparently they wanted to give them all star but the production team wanted to create a dramatic storyline so that’s how that came about. The subtitling for that part is weird because they’ve cut two different sentences together to make one so it’s hard to translate. Jaejoong was overseas for his Beauty In Chaos concerts for a lot of time during this filming so he doesn’t appear much but he also said he spent hours with the group going through vocal coaching but again was cut to less than 2 minutes. The scene at the end with him arriving with gifts was after he did a concert in Vietnam, jumped straight on a plane and flew back to Korea and came right away to see the trainees spending hours with them again and had to borrow shampoo to wash his hair at the dorm accomodation 😅 He also won’t appear until the final now due to his schedule which to be honest I’m glad because this is a nightmare haha.

The hot 30 year old man you thought had his name is Xuan Hao, he was in an omegaverse bl 😭 so none of your picks are eliminated I think They definitely should’ve eliminated around the same number of players as K did, the way C has literally half of the players that K has is insane

I know the entertainment industry is brutal, but this was really hard to watch! I’m not making any excuses for Jaejoong, but I think his values are old-fashioned because his adopted parents were much older than his actual parents, so it was almost like being raised by grandparents. Although once you’re grown, you can examine your values and be more flexible! I saw an interview that they said he spent hours with the trainees, and I know the editing on these things are brutal!

Jaejoong explained the whole situation about boystory. Masters were ready for gave them all stars but the production team who are the one control the results, they told masters to created dramatic scene for the boystory storyline in the Show. Basically the production team screwed up masters. I would say people need to listen to the whole story before judging cause survival show is scripted and included falsifying content for clout.

It’s unfair that group C only got 28 spots when group K got 52 spots…personally I think that Group C trainees has better performance than Group K trainees…..if there are more spots for group C Lim Jack will definitely stay and get into finial.He got that charm

Apologies for two comments! I rewatched this properly after work. The editing and the scripting of this by Mnet is horrible. They were clearly told who was to be given top rankings, and who wasn't, and what to say! Half the reactions by the participants and judges are probably being cut from all over the place and just stuck on random trainees performances to make it look like they're saying it about a particular trainee when in reality, it was likely about a completely different person. They're also recycling clips, e.g. what you pointed out about that one reaction was used at least 4 times for 4 different people. The hours they must have spent watching all those performances and meeting and watching them all separately, and also the hours they spent with them in the training is obviously impossible to show during a broadcast. But also in Mnet's case they clearly don't want to, because they're not going to get the rage bait views if they show the boring stuff. I feel too enraged by a show I never really intended to watch!

I think this show is lacking a random handsome actor to host it and be nice to the trainees and care about them without also being one of their judges. Like in Project 7 or Produce X 101. That might brighten the mood a little. So far this show has been a bit dreary. Not just because of eliminations but the format of this season is weird thus far. Im hoping once they combine it'll get better. As always I loved your reaction 💙 Excited for the next one!

Oh Mnet is definitely doing a bunch of shady sh!t to push the narrative and group that they want. Sure they may not be rigging the actual votes but they’re definitely pushing specific trainees and putting together specific narratives to sway viewers in the direction they want. I think the way the whole geonwoo situation is playing out is very telling. Seems like they went from pushing him as Hanbin 2.0 in episode 1 to awkwardly dancing around him in some of the more recent clips they released.

i think with jack there was a big translation issue on top of a cultural one. like him saying he'd be "the best" if it was in english--i think he was thinking "if english is my first language, i would be better singing in english" and if he's struggling with chinese, someone who didn't know english would be struggling...and then i think he was just using a lighthearted tone to liven up the mood but also because that is clearly how he copes...like if everyone is telling him he's bad, that's a situation where you either laugh or cry

I’m sorry diva I know you like jaejoong a lot but this show really made me hate him and I really don’t think its only his fault… but anyway I live for miss xiaoting… miss diva was like… you cannot evil edit me. but I also think her comments is just clear without unnecessary bs… but tbh the mistreatment toward c trainees is making me hate this show. its a good thing there are so many familiar faces that I want to debut that’s why I still want to keep on watching and vote

It could be the difference in cultures. I grew up in Vietnam, so I personally don’t think what jaejoong said about his weight is rude. As far as I know, Korean netizens, Japanese, and Chinese react ok to this episode. Please consider that he’s Korean, his behavior and actions also influenced by the culture there. I think it’s the same for Hanyu too. At least he wouldn’t be too sensitive about it

I'm Asian, so I don't know what's wrong with Jaejoong's comments... Actually, this thread started with the dance master, and I don't know why everyone is only focusing on and criticizing Jaejoong... On the other hand, I noticed that those who criticize Jaejoong are also talking about which trainee is ugly??? What a double standard
