Hey, y'all!This week didn't have much actual rendering, mostly filling up the queue as I'm going to be gone for most of next week. I've been considering tweaking this coming update to feature fewer branching scenes compared to the previous chapters due to the high amount of complaints regarding playtime. If you're against or for the idea of more linear chapters here and there, let me know as I'd like to hear you guys thoughts on it.On to the numbers, we're currently sitting on 166 images, and a bunch piled up in the queue, with 0 total animations (bum Dev).That's about it for this week. Stay safe.

Some people will complain no matter what you do. So I say do it however you prefer.

I always though the branching between bball and music should not have happened. Should’ve been both or one IMO.

Thanks for the update Tako! So far I had enjoyed the branching and I think no matter what choice you make people will always want the game to go with a certain way. So follow your heart and do what you think is the right thing to do with branching! No matter if it is more branching in upcoming episodes or more linear episodes I'm sure they will be both awesome so keep up your good work ma goat, no matter what you decide to do I will continue to support you!

Personally, I always prefer relationship choices to pursue a LI or not (and any consequences it follows). Not sure how deep you'll explore the division between pivotal points, which puts possible girls in certain accessible "buckets". If anything, I think the real strength of WA is the personalities. Alyssa left such an impression on me, because I wasn't expecting it. It resonated even further with me because I actually KNEW a girl like that: terse, blunt, introverted, with a streak of sarcasm. Characterization is why I'm here, and not many storytellers do it well.

I always play my AVNs thoroughly and have multiple playthroughs for each LI, so I enjoyed the branching. It also allowed me to play and explore more.

I am all for reeling it back in, because branching so early can get out of control fast. Maybe in the full game the big career path between sports and music will feel good, but right now there is still no believable narrative explanation why he can't do both. And that is just the major branching, add to that choices to pursue certain girls, or not, mutually exclusive scenes with the girls you do choose to pursue, like Jordan vs Brooke last update and I think its too much, too soon and its unsustainable. Growing your game forward will always feel better for the players than growing it sideways and I say that as a completionist nutcase with 20 pages of saves. Most players play a VN once, on a single path and never look back, until next update where they continue that same save. Its important to keep that in mind.
