This episode was rather disturbing...Honestly I've lost a lot of hope in Theon/Reek/ whoever he is at this point. More GoT on the way. I appreciate your all for your patience and for continuing to rock with us. I know the past few weeks have consisted of a lot of different content and I'm thankful you guys and gals have been supportive of that.

As a survivor of SA along with friends and family who are survivors as well it as hard to get through this episode. The stuff they put Sansa through in this show is highly disturbing; I don’t know why her character gets so much hate when she’s put through the ringer every time 😥

candle

Arya lied about the minor detail of where she stabbed the boy because that's what the "game" is about. See how he could still tell she was lying? She's supposed to get better at it.

Megan Lynn

AHHH!!! I'm finally early to a release on Patreon! 🫶

I have complicated feelings about Theon/Reek. From his perspective, he was stolen from his family after his brothers were killed and held as a hostage ready to be killed at any point if his father rebelled. We know Ned probably wouldn't have done that but Theon didn't.. and Ned might've had to if it was his duty to do so. To go from one hostage situation to another would mess you up. Reek is the end result of putting that kid through constant psychological torture his whole life.

Matthew

The thing about Reek is. You may say snap out of it like its easy to do, but he’s essentially seeing what will happen to him every single day. You think if he rebelled and killed Ramsey they’d kill him? They probably would keep him alive for years peeling his skin off and worse

Tyler Sick

Theon is not armed. Theon isn't going to do anything to stop Ramsey because he can't kill Ramsey only hit him or try to choke him or something which will not work out well for him. And then imagine what Ramsey does to punish Theon.

Remy

Sam’s killed a Then too. You are way too hard on Sam. The unlikely hero.

Austin Hogan

There were a number of African warlord in the 15-17 centuries who sold prisoners of war to Europeans so that isn’t to far fetched to have black slavers

Ryan Turko

Keep em rolling boys

Erin

Yall need to watch the Lore. All of them.

These are probably my favorite reactions to Game of Thrones. You guys are awesome. I genuinely refresh this patreon like 10 times a day in hopes another episode has been uploaded. I am re-watching this show with you guys and its a new experience.

everydaynegroes

That's love! If you refresh one more time you will see a new one pop up because I just uploaded another!!! -Adison

Re: Jorah's tourney at Lannisport This is actually true. Jorah speaks of his wife briefly in S1. Her name was Lynesse Hightower (of the Alicent/Otto Hightowers) and Jorah fell in love with her on sight. He won the tourney and married her a couple of weeks later, but it all went to shit from there. Re: post-wedding In the books, Theon *is* forced to participate in the deflowering of Jeyne Poole (not Sansa - she's still in the Vale w/Petyr and Jeyne is being passed off as Arya). It was understood that had Theon refused, Jeyne would have been even further brutalized, so don't be too hard on Theon here. He had both himself and Sansa to think about. I can't think of anybody who should be higher than Ramsay on the list as of this point. By this ep, I say my top three are Ramsay, Cersei and the High Sparrow. That changes, though...

The Emerald Duchess

Anyone here old enough to remember ‘Return to Oz’? The evil lady who had all the heads of those women she swapped out? This “face library” thing reminds me of that. *I will still watch that movie over the original. Crazy.

Henny

two GOT reactions today?! thank you!!!

TD MoBee

Same! It was the same for me with the Wheel of Time!

Emmeline

Look at Patty Hearst. She went full cuckoo for coco puffs with Stockholm syndrome and she wasn’t tortured in any way like we see Theon being tortured. He’s awful, but even a good man would be mentally fkd after being put under Ramsay’s mind games.

Jennifer Daniels

Plus they're probably Summer Islanders, and we all know that they get down much differently in SI than anywhere else!

Jennifer Daniels

And even if he DID kill Ramsay, he still has to face Roose Bolton - he of the "I raped your mother b/c she had the nerve to marry another man" variety. Yeah...no. The ONLY thing keeping Theon from being tortured at this moment is Roose.

Henny

Ramsey is a bad baaaaad dude. I'd say he's worse than Joffrey.

Henny

I don't think Theon's fear is physical because one man can definitely take the life of another man without weapons but Theon's fear is all psychological from everything that happened. Ramsey messed with his brain so badly that even the thought of "punishment" is enough to keep him in line.

SonjaB29

So, I’ve watched the entire GOT series twice. This was the 1st time allowing that scene with Sansa (r) to play through. I had to mute it and I turned away, so I didn’t catch y’all’s reaction. I did catch Theone’s reaction for the 1st time, but the entire scene was still bad.

Nettles

23:38 Jorah DID beat Jaime. It’s not cap. Jorah beat everyone and won the tourney of Lannisport.

Nettles

Also! …. (Book) Spoiler … … Ramsey made them do things with the 🐶s. It’s always worse in the books.

Nettles

I think the irony in the scene is that it’s black slavers enslaving white men. Not the idea of black slavers existing. Almost every continent had slavery. It’s what they did with prisoners of war in the old world.

candle

She didn’t endure torture to the level of Theon but was definitely abused nonetheless. She was held in a closet and apparently sexually abused as well. Her IQ was measured as 112, whereas it had previously been 130; there were huge gaps in her memory, she was smoking heavily and had nightmares. All signs of trauma. Considering that, Theon is a whole nother level entirely

Rosh

Ughhh this ep is just as devastating as i remember it when it first came out😓 i do just want to say i understand the stance on Theons whole situation but you have to remember in his mind he knows how bad Ramsey can be and he knows that Sansa would be one of the best people to hurt to continue this cycle of physical and psychological torture. The books ofcourse dive alot deeper into this and it is honestly horrific at points. This is all to say ramsey is a sick sick individual🤮🤮 but the actor who plays Ramsey is honestly an amazing Actor i have seen him in other things and hes just amazing!

Megan Lynn

I'm watching the full series with the guys! I've only seen bits and pieces of seasons over the years so, this has been so much fun! I'm actually kinda glad I didn't watch it when it first came out. I did that with Sons of Anarchy and had to wait years for resolutions to things in the show. I swore, never again! 😂

Festina

Cersei trying so hart to imitate tywin but missing the point lol

🖤Bonita☆

You sweet summer children.. thinking Sansa had any choice at all about her own body with Ramsey. He's the sickest, nastiest character just about ever written. I couldn't watch the full last scene. 💔

Thomas Muñoz

Crazy to me that yall straight up stick up for Sansa when she didn’t want to hold his hand that got me so pissed I wasn’t even trippen when it was happening I felt worse for theon because Sansa DID that to herself thinking she was safe.. if they would have showed up and she was in arm with him, theon wouldn’t have had to watch imo

Melkeys

I remember when you said there would NEVER be anyone worse than Joffrey… I have waited for this exact episode…

TD MoBee

I’ve watched the show a few times. It’s one of my favs. I just started the books

Katlyn

I’ve been waiting on this episode. I did a full on Ramsey-style laugh when you said no one could be worse than Joffrey a few episodes ago. Ramsey might be the scariest villain of all time to me. Because he has all the sadistic characteristics of Jeoffrey, but he’s intelligent, trained, talented, and well…. A total psychopath.

TimTakDoh

That's a wild stance. Disgusting honestly to act as if sansa deserved this(or "DID that to herself") That's the same thought process when someone says "well, she was Sexually assaulted but she wore a skimpy outfit so she did this to herself"

Kizz

Now imagine what adult Joffrey would've done

Courtz

Theon, is broken. He would cut his own hand off if Ramsay told him to. The crying is him trying to break free of it to help Sansa. Fear conditioning is crazy. Ramsay is legit the worst!

TealSummers

It's not just face swapping. There's something magical to it, because it's shape shifting. The entire stature changes. They use the face, but become the person of the face in every other physical aspect like the stature and physique of their bodies.

TealSummers

Notice the people outside of westros do not care about westros customs and you have to use examples of their customs to gain any respect. The slave merchant made it clear that jousting was for fancy folks. He is showing he doesn't respect it nor does he think it's the mark of a true fighter and warrior, but as soon as Jorah brings up that he killed a dothraki bloodrider THAT got the slave merchant's attention. This has happened a few times throughout the show.

TealSummers

Littlefinger cares only about himself. He uses information like a chess piece and to place himself in the best positions. He uses it for his own benefit.

AllyBoo124

Th scene with Ramsay, Sansa, and Theon always breaks my heart. Because well one I agree that Sansa was fully in the right not to hold his hand, as far as she still knows he betrayed Robb leaving him vulnerable which got her mother and brother killed and he murdered bran and rickon. She has reason upon reason to hate him. However Ramsay making him stay was so sick and twisted as is everything he does but this was cruel, I mean he basically forced him to watch him defile his little sister. It’s disgusting. I have never had such deep and total disdain for a character like I do with Ramsay, like even more than Joffrey.

AllyBoo124

Also Sansa has been through some of the absolute worst things than any character and I have always defended her, my heart breaks for her.

Tarot by Mokko

Just think of the thousands of years of forced marriage where women and girls went thru this and continue to go thru it. I used to tell my ex that no woman in her right mind would volunteer for this if they knew the hardship ahead of them.

Yolanda McKinney

This is the episode that took me out. I’m not a Sansa fan but I stopped watching for months after this night. They were well into season 6 before I came back to the series.

Constantdev

Ramsay was always worse than Joffrey I always said Joffrey was no more than a little brat compared to Ramsay. That's because unlike Joffrey, Ramsay can actually fight and defend himself. Joffrey got slapped around very easily he only got away with his stuff because he was king.

Lele O

Agreed.

Lele O

Exactly.

Jess Here

You are the first person I have seen blame Sansa for what happens to her in this episode. It's really mind blowing and disgusting.

connie

Sansa antis are so disgusting and weird. Saying Sansa did it to herself, when she's a fugitive on the run for being falsely accused of regicide. She didn't know anything about Ramsay, or the level of depraved he was, and what she knew of Theon is the man is a traitor of the highest degree who literally murdered her baby brothers. Why on earth can you sit here feeling worse for him, when he is the one who put himself in this situation (by your own logic), and actually betrayed her family, while she did nothing at all to him?

Jennifer Daniels

You really think Ramsay would have spared Theon over a hand hold? In the books, he made Theon PARTICIPATE in his wife's rape. (He didn't marry Sansa, he married a fake Arya - long story.) Ramsay made Theon watch because he's Ramsay.

Zeke English

Comodelpatricide is the word for what Tyrion did

Sasha

Arya helped that lil family, sad as it was

La Toya Sheri

Dang that was a rough watch. He def has to go. He better not make it to the end of season 5.
