As far as people getting what they deserve, there are a few characters in this show that couldn't possibly get what they deserve. The evil that characters like Cersei and Ramsey perpetrate on others over the course of the show? There isn't enough punishment in the world to cover what they've done to others.

Maester Aemon's death is completely different in the books. He wasn't at the Wall. It also explains why he suddenly declined and died. That's all I will say because I don't want to ruin it for anyone that plans on reading them. Also, I know you guys have given up on Theon but he was tortured mercilessly. Different parts of his body was flayed like the old lady. One of the episodes I remember you saying look at his hand (Reek's) his hands were flayed and multiple fingers were removed. Ramsey would also orchestrate a chance to escape, only to track him down and punish him. Theon/Reek's chapters in the books are the most disturbing to me.
