Let’s go!! Loving these reactions man, thank you 🙏

Mindbomb

Ahhh yeah. Tom and Cillian. Two of the planets finest actors. This show keeps turning up.

Mindbomb

Sabini was also the actor who got "handsy" with Jamie in GOT.

Regarding Tommy and Arthur's mental well-being. They are both severely traumatized by the war. Tommy "handles it better" but barely. He can't sleep without smoking opium because of the nightmares and as ya'll smartly pointed out, Tommy is also suicidal. He honestly does not care if he lives or dies but he's continuing to do this work for his family. Today we would say he has "high functioning depression". For Arthur, he has always been a fragile person from youth, although he was the oldest son, he was never treated as such and therefore has not had to live with that pressure or responsibility that has been placed on Tommy's shoulders. So its easier for the trauma and emotions to slip trhough his cracks, which is why we've seen his outbursts and attempts. I love this show, I could talk about it foreverrrrrrr

“Do you need the cartoon bombs going off” 😂😂 thanks for that one

Ruth

Thanks for posting 2 Peaky blinders episodes, I've been waiting on them 😭

Daniel

Bro this is such a treat! Looking forward to you guys continue this

Ryùuzaki

Took me a while to place him but I think sabini played the guy who chopped off Jamie's hand in GOT

Boldixia

And Michael has arrived! This is the episode when PB went from being pretty good to actually great in my eyes. Polly is one of the best written characters in this show, by far. Reducing her actions to being childish and "shaming" a grown woman for having sex = pure insanity lmao. You guys are so focused on everything Tommy does that you legit miss out on details that explain so much about the others lol.

Austin Hennigan

I said in the comments on the last video but Freddie died of pestilence they said. Disease or plague something like that.

Daaylen Watson

Pestilence was the name for tuberculosis back then I believe.

PTSD from war was and still is a major issue. It completely affects people for their entire lives. I have a Lebanese friend, her dad fought in a war before she was born, so over 25 years ago. Growing up, one New Years at a family party, I witnessed him have a complete breakdown, it was like he thought he was on a battlefield, it took 3 of her brothers to hold him down until he calmed. I didn’t know until I was older that the fireworks show had triggered him. He’s done a lot of therapy and is better, but sometimes he’ll get quiet for a long time and she says he still suffers until this day. And in Peaky Blinders Era, there was no “PTSD”. Some people called it the Flanders Blues, named after “Flanders Fields”, which was the name for the battlefields in WW1 Belgium and France. But people would just have to live with it until it killed them or they killed someone. Sad that people still have to go through these experiences and live with this trauma as cannon fodder for richer men’s mistakes.

Brian Clancy

You gon' put ur boy Brandon on Peaky? Or jus ride it out with this duo? Jus curious enjoying these reactions bro

The first World War was a devastating and never before seen level of violence. The kind of weaponry alone that was used was never ever used before. It was brutal. The suffering was indescribable. To have fought in that war, survived and won medals is no small thing. It carries so much respect, especially during this time. It's a big deal, so Tommy was smart to use it to his advantage.

Zeke English

You are definitely right about mental health back then. It literally was nonexistent.

Rockstar818

Not only did Tommy get a medal after he got shot, directly after coming home, he threw all of his medals in the river. So it’s doubly shameful to Campbell, cause not only is he again pointing out that Campbell didn’t fight in the war, he’s saying that he never even fought to attain fame and awards. He fought for his country because he was drafted, did what he had to do, and came home to continue business as usual. Dude plays chess with every word he speaks and I was here for it every season. And yes that is definitely Tom Hardy AKA Venom. Another example of British actors that can near perfectly imitate American accents. Alfie Solomons has a voice more like Tom’s actual voice. He normally kind of sounds like Alfie except for playing Alfie he added a little more exaggeration on the thickness of his accent. Alfie is almost so British you can almost not understand what he’s saying. Tom sounds only a touch more clear and concise than when he played Alfie.

surely u guys can tell us why yall stopped watching it?
