Christina

Katie

omg only 2 more to go :(((( thank you guys for this its been real

Violet

Thank you for the double upload!!!

Kianna Shannon

Two episodes in one day? Oh yall showing out today.

Erica A

So excited to see the back to back! Y'all are hilarious for the older brother type protectiveness over Arya lol but in the show she's supposed to be 18 and Gendry is supposed to be around 22-23 so not too crazy. Can't believe we're almost at the end!

Nat

Did we collectively mention how much we hate Cersei, for the day yet?

Leon

we rockin 2 for specials 1 can dig it !!!!!!

Erica A

I don't think yall fully grasp everything that Dany has been thru since season 1 to get to where she is and become the queen because that was her goal and to have someone be able to come and potentially come and take it all away just because he's a man and doesn't even want it?! Come on now

Christina

Lmaoo @ “Jon 2024”

Erica A

I'm at the end of the video now, so yall ain't pulling up for the big homey to try and get them back!!! That's foul lol

Demon Rick

Double Whammy? Oh we eating again🍿

uvytracks

Nah frrrr!! Makes it even worse that the man don’t even want the position but others would for him because he’s a man. I really sympathize w her.

Nick Murray

Before I even watch this episode. As a humble man from Toronto.. that blue jays hat is fire.

Nisa Faro

now why would brienne get with tormond big burly sour goat milk drinking self after knowing bro for like 2 weeks?? i feel like yall wanted them to get together just cause bruh was always spitting game. but brienne was TERRIFIED of that man lol. ever since jaime and brienne had that bath house moment she has been in love with jaime...bruh saved her from a bear, knighted her, and gave her one of the greatest swords in the show; he loved her too.

TheChymera

She don’t want no puppy she want a BIG DAWG 😭😭😭😭

DeathSwitch

Someone should take it away from her because she is a conquerer. Not a ruler. Everywhere she goes, she says im doing what's best for ME, not the people. She's not worthy to be the ruler of the 7 kingdoms.

Brooke

Agree, I really appreciate the caller who tried to bring in a bit of fairness for Dany. I’m not a Dany stan, but I almost have to turn the stream off every time the guys start laying into her. I really don’t think they perceive some of the subtleties

Fallon

I definitely think Addison is right. Dany wanted to have her cake and eat it to. She definitely wanted to be the head. She doesn't know how to be anything else.

Demon Rick

Bron just out here betting Parlays on battles😅

Demon Rick

Adison is that why they say “John Doe” 😲 your right all time common name

A.

They are really going hard on making the North racist and xenophobic. They explicitly don't trust Dany for being foreign, everyone stares with hostility at Missandei and Grey Worm, and they're even being snakes by turning their backs the promises they made to Dany when they needed her. I have never been on team Dany like that, but it's so weird that everyone is calling her crazy or an authoritarian now, when she has the most reason to be mad at everyone. Tyrion taking nothing but Ls as her hand, Varys flip-flopping faster than ever before, and maybe the most insulting: everyone clapping Jon on the back and calling him a king for doing once what she's been doing for years.

A.

It does feel like the show is on some medieval nonsense with the way Cersei and Dany are both the worst rulers to ever exist, when both of them are easily lapped by their dads, and in Dany's case, most of the kings and lords we meet.

Demon Rick

damn such great conversations this episodes maybe i judged it wrong the first watch🍿

Kizz

Rhaegal dragon dying is AWFUL WRITING. It never made sense and still doesn't. There is literally nothing blocking any view point, All there is is a tiny rock lol. They have a high advantage, How can the dragons be seen but the dragons and Dany can't see anything. Surprised EDN got over it so quickly.

Kizz

But she's not the rightful heir and even if Jon doesn't want it he would be better for it. Dany has no patience and is the root reason the dragon died and Missandei got caught because she rushed into it and didn't bother listening to anyone even Varys' wise words. She could've listened and starved out Kingslanding into surrender or weakened them progressively.

Lina Marshall

I hate how everyone turns on Dany and Cersei gets the “it’s Cerise“ she blew up the Sept,it was awww she’s savage in a funny o” oh that’s boss moves “ caused her son to jump out a window She’s starves the low born Personally but them in harms way As she told Ned “When you play the game of thrones YOU WIN OR DIE” she’s killing everyone but “ that’s Cersei” she lied about helping in the Great War “ but that’s Cersei” Look how Dany started the show she did listen to everyone in the beginning and every time it cost her something… Cersei beheads her bff and again “ that’s just Cerise” the moment Dany starts to really come into her own it’s “omg she’s wrong for this wrong for that” Cersei just said to let everyone come in so she Dany can kill them and she can be the villain.. She killed innocent ppl when she blew the sept She’s using kings landing low born to be killed She starves her kingdom ppl She’s using everyone for her gain She didn’t and don’t listen to her council bc she don’t allow them to tell her anything on how to rule… Dany has tried to play middle and every time she took others advice it cost her .. I’m not saying she’s 100% innocent in some of her actions but if it was Cersei she wouldn’t be getting treated like this. . I’m team MOD and still is to this day.

Demon Rick

She’s allowed to crashout😅 i gave her a pass day 1, As for Greyworm he just lost his Weakness gg’s Dont be near him

Lina Marshall

BTW: blame the writers who decided to turn her ending this way the actress Emily Clark who plays her was pissed when she learned how her character change.. but still team MOD for me 🔥🐉

Kizz

You are talking about everyone in Westeros, Unsullied and Dothraki have never set foot before in Westeros. Not everyone one trusts them or Dany which isn't surprising. Dothraki are savages with their history it raises eyebrows to the Westerners. Dany is impatient and didn't listen to her council, She got her dragon and Missandei killed because of that. Varys doesn't want bloodshed of innocents, Tyrion is being ignored and he still follows her like a puppy. Jon brought everyone together including convincing Dany to fight (Which also helps her because the Night King was targeting her and Bran the most). He has shown more leadership than anyone and is still humble about it.

Kizz

We all need to understand the reason we all have complaints about this episode is because of BAD and RUSHED writing (D.B. Weiss and David Benioff) which actually has an effect on certain characters. This episode was controversial when it first released even to the actors.

John landish

Dany listened many times to Tyrion and he failed. She lost a lot listening to Varys and Tyrion. Dany should have listened to Alena In the beginning and burned it down asap with 3 dragons. I’m with Dany. Burn it all

John landish

Nah she got caught because of Tyrions poor planning. He should have planned Dany’s arrival

candle

What kind of nonsensical comment is this? Of course Cersei wouldn’t be treated like this, she and everyone openly admits she‘s evil and her killing innocents is a GIVEN. Dany is the one who CLAIMS to be different. Who claims to be the saviour so no, she cannot crash out like this and we absolutely should hold her to a different standard. But I know y’all whine about this turn for her character anyway so there’s no reasoning with y’all

candle

Some people agreeing to killing innocents for any reason is mad. And let’s remember the „reason“ here is Dany simply wanting that chair out of entitlement. Her claim has been lowered and the people don’t even want her. If I was her, I would be fuming too, but I‘m not, so I can objectively see she needs to chill out and she needs to go.

Qurron Franklin

It's crazy that you all react like this over woman having sex. Like who wants to die without feeling the pleasure of sex. Woman especially back then should not expect to be some type of saints. The ones that had sex liked each other way before, but facing death let you know how short life is.

Qurron Franklin

The fact that Dani can't let John lead knowing he is the rightful air to the iron throne is confirmation that the crazy, possessive blood that flows through her is the dominant factor and that is NEVER GOOD!!! Along with her FEELINGS 🤦🏿‍♀️ It will be the down fall if she is not stopped.

Qurron Franklin

Right, she lost the most because she had the most is a very true statement.

Joffrey 👑

Things is we BEEN known Dany was a crash out. Theres been hints throughout the seasons. The way she acting never surprised me at all.

Megan Lynn

Same for Jane Doe, I believe.

Megan Lynn

"I'm not a lady." -Arya "You're a goat." -Adison. I laughed as hard as I did during the live! 😂😂😂

Megan Lynn

I'd have voted for him! 🗳

Remy

Gendry and Arya have always loved each other!! Season 2 “ you would be my lady” The chat between Tormond and Jon was important. You missed it.

Megan Lynn

Or, like the Grinch says, 'Hate, hate, double-hate.... LOATHE ENTIRELY!'

Megan Lynn

And let us introduce, Jon MAH QUEEN Snow. 🙄

Nisa Faro

That’s tormond theme song fr 🤣

Tyrone Bigguns

You guys mentioned Darrio being left over in Mereen by Dany. I think it was a big fail on the writers to just forget about him. Remember that guy that came over with Uron Greyjoy, the head of the Golden Company? Instead of him, they should have had Darrio and his Second Sons be who was hired. Then he could either have done it for revenge at being scorned or maybe they could have had him sabatoge Cersei or something... just seems like a perfect opportunity to bring back a guy who was a major character and then just dropped.

Ailene Evangelista

Exactly…I mean she also loved Renly for the longest time. Brienne clearly has a type! Chivalrous, treat her with kindness, defend her honor, pretty boy types lol. Tormund was not that, she was never gonna be into him like that.

Ailene Evangelista

Tyrion was so blinded these episodes concerning Cersei. It’s painful to watch. As much as he hates her deep down I think he still wanted to save her, being that she’s still his sister. He really underestimated her cruelty and pride.

Nisa Faro

Exactly ! And tormond was always talking about how “big” she was like that wasn’t something brienne always hated that ppl commented on. Renly and Jaime were the only ones who saw her for HER, not some big ole, intimidating woman that most men(including tormond) thought of her as.

bits

I looove that scene around the table where Sansa brings up the wounded soldiers... So much is told with body language and facial expressions. It's very obvious Jon's words were a warning to the sisters to tread carefully, imo he knows Dany is threatened by both of them and he is scared for them. And I love how quickly the sisters clock on to Dany; it's clear that by now Arya and Sansa understand and respect one another enough to know that when one of them smells trouble it's a legit concern. The look Arya gives Sansa and Sansa gives back is perfect.

james moore

Exactly so I hate the fake outrage about this season

Haola Michaela

Tyrion and Varys’ IQ took a dive in season 8

Jade

DRACARYS

Jade

Joffrey, you are correct. Get back must be had! 😈

Susan B

Dumbest episode on two counts: nobody anticipating that ships might be in wait; Dani abandoning her friends after one dragon was killed, when she could have just attacked the ships from a different direction and burned them.

bits

I agree, I don't think it's bad writing that he approaches Cersei to try to talk reason. He loves her, he can't help it, and he's tried to talk to her heart to heart many times now, this move wasn't out of character for me.

bits

If Cersei found her end in an earlier season like Joffrey or Littlefinger there'd be cheering by all GoT watchers, no one is forgiving Cersei for her past bad behavior, I don't know of one fan that doesn't want her dead.

KaosDragon

Woooooah man no spoilers, they haven’t gotten their yet SMH dude

Melinda

Yes yes yes to all of this!

Melinda

Right! It’s insane…

Tyra

Guys on YouTube there’s episode 1 of Snow. It is really worth watching. I know HBO decided not to do the Jon Snow series this seems like this the after story. Made a lot of sense and answered questions.

Evelyn Aviles

Oh! And Jon is the son of the eldest son of the mad king. That would still make him next in line to the throne, not because of his gender. Danaerys was the youngest of her siblings.

connie

Dany's issue has nothing to do with them being related in the relationship sense. She's a Targaryen, their family is known for having incest. Targaryen's marry each other to keep their bloodline pure, so they can retain their power to control dragons. They are the only family who being incestuous like that isn't frowned upon because it's considered necessary. Her own parents were brother and sister after all. Daemon and Rhaenyra from HOTD are uncle and niece, and Dany and Jon are aunt and nephew, it's normal for Dany. It's only Jon who is squicked because he grew up in the North, not as a Targaryen, so incest is an ick for him. Dany's only issue with them being related is it means he's a Targaryen man, who is also the son of her older brother Rhaegar, which means Jon not only has the stronger claim, but he's the rightful heir, over her. If people know this, they'll advocate for him, over her, because he's a man, he's the rightful heir and he grew up in Westeros. He's a known good and honorable person who many in their land trust to be upstanding. And Dany is a foreign stranger whose family history is less than ideal, the choice would be obvious, and she knows that.

Jessica Houser

I had to check because it was bugging me....The most popular male name over the last 100 years is James. Then Michael, Robert, John and David. Honestly, I was surprised it wasn't John myself. My brother's name is John and it's a family name over 6 generations! I think Jon would be the better ruler but Dany isn't going to allow that.....either way Cersi has to go! Wonder what will happen next?! I'm so glad you haven't been spoiled so far....almost there! Thanks for the reaction guys! Great job!

Jessica Houser

I was thinking the same thing! I always feel like everyone is so shocked by him being Aegon Targaryen, they forget that. The Stark in him is what makes him so honorable!

Ruth Genger

Burn them all! As long as Cersei is the first 🤣

AllyBoo124

I would like to say that I blame Tyrion’s stupidity in trying to talk to Cersei specifically on the writing. Because Tyrion. From season 6 and before would HAVE NEVER. This man is not this stupid.

AllyBoo124

I love Dany so so much. And I think we have bias because we know her but dany is scary. Like that woman is not warm I’m not gonna be inviting her over to hang out with me either.

Constantdev

Also not giving it like at least a week to recover from the battle of Winterfell that was literally like 24 hours earlier, I'm sure we could both go on :(

Constantdev

Idk if they always 'loved' each other but they definitely always been into each other and know each other pretty well at the very least. I think people forget that just because they only share a handful of scenes, doesn't mean they didn't spend like months together. When they're traveling/in a particular location it's usually weeks or months that go by.

The Lilly

I blame the writers. They was just doing anything in S8. They did not wrap up this show with the respect it deserved. All the character development from S1 just to make bimbos out of them in S8. That Starbucks cup we saw, that they had to edit out sums it up pretty well.

The Lilly

I didn't understand why they were freaking out about that too lol😂 Like the world might be ending bro, we might as well do what it do😂 Maybe it's because Arya still looks young there 🤷🏾‍♀️

Qurron Franklin

Yeah, I think so. I was dying 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

The Lilly

Yeah, I'd be mad too. They writing made her look like an unreasonable crash out. One thing I hold against her though is not waiting a little longer to face Cersei, but also I understand that the writers didn't gaf.

randvi

lol just from the faces yall making in the thumbnail i see we had similar feelings during this epidose

Stefanie Anderson

I feel like the thing you guys are missing about Dany is the female perspective. She has spent all her life already fighting for something that she was told was hers by birthright, she has literally done magic shit (walking out of fire, dragons, etc.) that nobody has ever seen before, she's lost her husband and child, 2 dragons by the end of this episode, and the majority of everyone who is been close to her or that she's ever known in her life. She is sacrificed and done literally everything she knows how, and solely because a man with the same last name as her is found, that and that alone would negate her claim. As a woman, the amount of frustration she has to be feeling is relatable. Being told or made to feel you are not good enough solely because there's a man/men out there who someone else likes more is an endless battle. She is this close to getting what she wants and what she feels and has been told her whole life she is deserving of, and the existence of one man who up until recently nobody knew who he really was could take everything from her and make her sacrifices null in void. If Jon genuinely does not want to be in power, he could still tell Arya and Sansa that Ned was not his father to clear their father's name even posthumously, and he could say that his mother was Lyanna, but he could completely leave out is paternal side. There is no reason for that to be made public knowledge, and when Dany says it will take on a life of it's own, she's right. There are so many men who do not want a female in power that they would back Jon solely because he's a man And he could be almost forced to take the throne whether he wants to or not. His existence alone is enough for people to want Dany dead and that's unfair. Thankfully though, this isn't actually part of the books, and I am still holding out hope that Martin Well actually finish the book and give her a better storyline than this. I don't like the turn that they took with this character and while I agree she is definitely not acting properly, I also feel like a lot of her reaction to things happening is completely justified if you look at her history as a whole.

connie

I get it though lol I mean we first met Arya when she was like 9 years old! We seen her on screen growing up, it's a bit uncomfortable.

Qurron Franklin

Yeah I it just so funny when they get uncomfortable. I love the protective nature of them ☺️

connie

She didn't even need to burn it down. If she'd gone there immediately, she'd have won with minimal to zero casualties. I mean she had 100k soldiers of dothraki and 8,000 unsullied, and that's just HER army. That's not even including her 3 full grown dragons, the Iron islands, Dorne and the reach! She'd have EASILY slaughtered Cersei and her men because she didn't even have the Iron bank yet nor did she had Euron and his fleet because he hadn't given her justice for Myrcella, nor did she have the scorpions. There was nothing Cersei had when Dany first landed that would have helped her. Dany could've just gone there and shown the whole armies behind her and it would've been over and done with. That's why it was dumb to me to not just go there immediately. Cersei had nobody and KL was vulnerable.

John landish

You are 100% correct: the issue is that her advisers like Tyrion told her not to do it. John snow told her not to do it. , Varys etc, they all gave her terrible advice.

connie

Thats because Cersei been a day 1 crash out who admitted she doesn't gaf about anybody but her own. We already know what time she's on. She's unrepentant and that's why, while she can be entertaining in a sense, she's still got to go, and nobody ever defends her actions. Dany however, isn't supposed to be like Cersei. She claims she wants to be different from all the other rulers. So people will have a different standard for her because that's how she's presented herself and what she's been saying she is all this time. She can't crash out like Cersei then, that just proves she was capping. Cersei, at the very least, never capped about who she was. She stood on who she was and how she felt about those around her. That's fine, that's why she has to go, why nobody defends her and wants to see her lose and die.

connie

I'm tired of this idea that North is racist. Stop using Missandei and Greywork skin color to provoke this bs. They don't like them because they're on Daenerys side. They literally gave Dany the SAME TREATMENT and she's lily white bread! They actually SPIT at Jaime and Tyrions feet, but y'all ignore that too. It had nothing to do with racism or xenophobia. Dany took their home from them, and is trying to rule over them when they already had a good leader. Dany being a foreigner is the least of their cares. She's a Targaryen with dragons whose father burned their former leaders alive. They don't trust her anymore than the Lannisters. And Dany never tried to be personable either. She came in trying to be Queen, never tried to get to know anybody. She always acts from a place of authority, imagine coming into a country you know little about, taking over and expecting everyone to be cool, when you took their chosen leader off the position you gave them out of trust and loyalty? And now you're being called racist and xenophobic because that wasn't cool with you? Insane.

Lina Marshall

Facts.. They did Dany wrong by having her character basically turn into the Mad Kings. They had her on a good road to success during the show making sure she was different and she wanted to break the wheel then started to have her straddle the fence on being a just queen.. then they just threw her character under the bus… She even did an interview saying she’s disappointed in how they had her end that way . .

Evolve2Exist

Dany was given the advice to listen to her advisors by OG Lady Tyrell and has completely ignored it and suffered because of it, she gets colder and more defiant each obstacle. Im not making excuses for her just bc she’s a woman that went through things. Everyone on the show has had traumatic experiences. So I’m gonna have to agree that she’s one of the greatest conquerors but she’s unfit to rule the 7 kingdoms. Shes an entitled hot head underneath all of her half smiles and amazing qualities. Jon as always would be the one cleaning up her mess, shaking hands, and kissing babies for the rest of their lives. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

A.

The people of the north aren't real, and I don't think they're intended to be racist the show unfortubately made them look that way with the visuals. I don't care who rules, I'm not trying to provoke anything, I'm just engaging with the story. I hope this helps.

everydaynegroes

See I already feel bad 😅 I owe you 25 pushups! -Adison

Mel Issa

Dany should have been able to see those ships from so high in the sky! That dragons death is in her! She knew Cersie was getting stronger and still has Euron’s fleet and she was careless! I don’t think the common folks can read. So, fliers wouldn’t help. Going to Kingslanding can be seen as getting intel. Now she knows they have scorpions on all the ships and across the wall of the city. She can strategize if she & her advisors are smart

Tyrone Bigguns

"and solely because a man with the same last name as her is found,"

Kay

Those questions post show trying to force them to hate the writing of the show lol like just jet them form their own opinions

Kyo

The moment where Dany smiled even when seeing her dragon falter while flying away was all I needed to see to know. You don't smile when your kid enters the field with a broken arm, them being brave enough to push through a bruised ego or a light strain maybe, but not a crippling injury. And in regards to Brienne and Jamie, I shipped them as a couple, she made him want to be a better man. When around her he didn't have to be manipulated into decisions, he just felt inspired to be honorable. I do get the point of view that there aren't many shows that delve into ride or die friendships between a man and a woman that doesn't lead to love, but this one truly felt like they had been holding themselves back from letting themselves like each other. As if the whole time they felt a pull and kept trying to tell themselves, "No way?" and resisted... For me I feel like this is where the show writers failed, not understanding the depths of the characters since this is past the point where the books stopped. Or at least that's how I interpret it, because deep in the souls at the core, everyone wants to believe they are the good guy or that they have good reasons for their bad choices. Here Jamie had no "reason" for his bad choices, just simply Cersei. Not that he loves her that deep or their bond feels that deep, just an obsession. He never said anything like she's the only one who's stayed by my side or she's the only one I can feel like I'm me around. If this has to be this way, I feel like the show writers should've taken the extra time to dive into their founding years where Cersei truly twisted him and set her roots this deep. "Show, don't tell" is a common recommendation within movies and TV, let the viewers SEE why things drive them to be this way. They only established that it was already this way from the beginning, without ever adding depth to it, it stayed a shallow drive...

Kyo

I agree fully. There was more reasonings behind Arya's connection to Gendry and they never delved into any of that, reducing it to just "I don't want to die a virgin." They traveled a long time together, protecting each other's back when both were in danger. And during the whole show Jamie was better the longer he was away from Cersei, but would find himself forced into situations that forced him back near and he would slip back into old habits as she swayed him with slick words and manipulating him when he was hesitating on that line. But S8 he was free of her, with no pressure or manipulation when this whole time it's been established that without her whisperings, he hadn't been as into her the more time he spent away and seen her more clearly. In my opinion at least. Watching Brienne made him see the depths of Cersei's faults and depravity and he had always been DRAWN to Brienne and the feelings she inspired of wanting to be an honorable man. D&D did him dirty.

Kyo

Also, on the arguement about resting vs marching or what choices Dany even had. Remember she was advised to heal and then SIEGE. Meaning wear down the ships in the harbor over time without letting them get reinforcements or bring food to the city and surround the city from a safe distance. A simple thing of sending in messages to Varys's people within the walls could start major rumblings and whispers that all that was required was Cersei to secede, that the people are not the targets. Give that time to brew as supplies dwindle and you have a full blown rebellion within the walls. The only losses on Dany's side would be from forcing Euron's ships to be on the offensive using a blockade, force them out of the advantage of defense, which they would eventually have to do for supplies.

Kyo

Well said! I'm not team Dany, because of the subtle hints at her brutality long term, but it is a very fair perspective. She did take it too far many, many times in so many situations though for me to waive all that away. If she had shown more leniency and grace in her methods of conquering. I'm mainly thinking when she lit up the survivors of her raiding the caravan with gold. She demanded loyalty when they had every reason to have viewed her as a threat, she gave them no choice without giving them any reason to believe her worthy of leading besides through fear. Imprison them, let them observe her treatment of those who ride with her and earn respect and loyalty. She is a complete stranger to them and they no nothing of her cause or reasoning.

Kyo

Yea, those dragons desperately needed recovering. With wounds their manueverability is severely hampered, imagine trying to dodge a tackle when you have broken ribs! She was leading through fear of betrayal from the northerners, it made every sense to recover and prepare to SIEGE, not full out assault. Either block Euron's fleet off the bat or wait until they are forced to use the ships to go somewhere for food. If seiging from land, the ships are essentially useless to Cersei and only useful for resupplying. If some do leave for food eventually, make a blockade to separate and prevent the ones on the outside from reuniting or run them down... there was just so, so many better options or tactics than charging in full tilt fresh off a near total loss like they had at winterfell.

Kyo

Drastically!!! Especially Tyrion. He may have HOPED better of Cersei, but knew deep down how it'd go. Even vs the sunk cost of riding with Dany this whole time, Jon was a damn near ideal alternative once realizations hit.

Kyo

So true!!! It would've been a lovely twist and an ideal way to add depth to an already complicated situation. I've not considered that at all, but that was like a perfect set up and no one took the shot. This is the shit that makes me hate D&D for, because they rushed the fuck out of the final season instead of embracing the fact that this is where so many loose ends need to be tied up, final motivations delved into as everyone had to make their last choice on where they stand.

Kyo

It is uncomfortable to a degree, yea. It did not help the case that the actress for Arya stays looking really young for her age while Gendry's actor matured pretty notably. To me early on in the show they only looked a few years apart so it didn't bother me much, but in S8 the gap looks more notable. I'm a bit sad they never delved into talking about how much they legit leaned on each other while growing up, both having people after them and worried for the other. Their scenes implied months on end of having each other's back. Walking long distances without roads takes a long ass time and they were dodging death together. The show HELLA rushed them making final steps towards each other though. It felt natural for them to be drawn to each other, but it had never been about lust imo yet the writers reduced their entire connection to just that..

Kyo

The entire show they hinted at her brutality and rash decisions though. But her chosing to not rest and recover after the battle vs the dead made NO sense. Yes she feared the north changing their minds, but how does recovery play into that? She lost all the dothraki and half of the unsullied, but had 2 dragons that could handle wiping out all of winterfell by themselves if allegiance changed... which may not even happen because there was a lot of common ground among those that fought together there. The northerners KNOW that her people were critical to their own survival there, the unsullied defensive tactics alone was absolutely huge in buying time for the retreat. Dany failed to see how much respect she had won from them because her insecurities and hyperfocus on Jon. If Jon insisted on kneeling to her and she made no stupid plays like rushing, they would have had her back, thinking that Jon had her respect in kind as King/Warden in the North. A little leniency on her part to grant him and his people the North out of respect for fighting at her side vs the dead would've 100% been enough for everyone if she wasn't so ego driven.

Kyo

The biggest issue is Dany's refusal to be gracious. Jon is nothing but humble. Literally ALL Dany had to do to ensure there was no confrontation between the northerners and her people was giving Jon the North. His people cared nothing about the throne, they just knew he was a LEADER and wanted that recognized. But in her head it was all or nothing instead of the 7 Kingdoms minus the North. She'd still have the thrones and massive support and comradery with the people who fought the dead together. They saved humanity together and that kind of success is the shit that builds undying loyalty between dynasties. Like how some Houses were die hard for Starks because of something major in the past and their continued mutual respect. The North and Dany's separate dynasties or even conjoined is the shit legends are made of, defining history for centuries or millenia. Humanity itself was on the fucking line.

Kyo

Exactly. Letting the North be formally recognized as it's own by the Iron Throne for the Battle against the Dead was literally ALL it would have took to ensure her own spot. The North didn't give a shit about KL and Jon was not greedy for more and proven it time and again. That would of neutralized any threat of loss of the throne by Jon, just reward his people for their sacrifices at winterfell. ACKNOWLEDGE Jon as a peer and leader, one worthy of inherited loyalties between the 2 thrones for generations. The North would've followed through on their promises because of Jon's honor as well as mutual respect earned at Winterfell. There was no way the people there would have survived without the unsullied battle tactics playing defense. They would've been instantly swarmed otherwise.

A.

Sure, but she did literally fly down with mythical dragons and a huge army to help save humanity instead of fighting for the throne. Everyone acts like she showed up and peed in their breakfast.

Facts

Cristina

I wish we didn’t have to have Missandei as Desmond Bane but I understand 🙃 One time for Jorah/Ja One time for Missandei 🦋 of the Island of Naath, always the realest, with quiet strength & grace.

Cristina

Facts, let them react organically how they’ve been all this time.

Harmony

I wish Adison would have least learned to say Missandei's name correctly. Constantly blending her and Melissandra's name is crazy lol. At least say it right in her memory🥹

connie

Dany did not need to control the North. She already claimed she loved and trusted Jon, and he was already the North's ruler. They chose him, just like Dany's people chose her. She had no reason to want dominion over it except a sense of entitlement to possess it as part of the 7 kingdoms. That this meant more to her than the knowledge she already had of it being an area that didn't need her leadership because it had their own competent, and well led leadership in place, and that same leadership already had proved to her they're trustworthy and not seeking the power she wants, it makes little sense to refuse to give them independence. Her grasp on the North came off as more to do with her personal ambition than the needs of the people, and that's an issue.

Not today

For real I watched other reactors where the commentors totally swayed them how they should feel.

Jamie had my girl Brianne out in the cold in her robe!

Constantdev

At this point I think they do it to be silly they say 'Rhaenyris' but I think they know dang well it's Rhaenyra haha! It doesn't bother me though I think it's funny!

Elizabeth Esposito

As a woman I believe women make do not usually make good leaders we lead more emotionally drive situations not is right in bigger in picture.

Jennifer Daniels

Top three deaths in the battle: 1. Theon. Went out for Bran 2. Jorah. Went out for Daenerys 3. Beric Dondarrion. Went out for Arya Honorable mention to Lyanna Mormont the Dragonslayer and Lord Commander Tollett (Edd)! Brienne and Jamie...the fan service was at its PEAK by this point. (And I don't remember anybody digging these two anyway, so it was a double waste.) Why is it that a man and woman who become equals ALWAYS have to wind up in bed together!? (Same goes for Arya and Gendry.) Imagine how much more powerful Jamie's betrayal could have been if (for example) Brienne - having NOT slept with Jamie - berated Jamie b/c she took up for him w/Sansa and praised him for being a changed man. Now the knighthood she craved so much all her life is tainted and dirty b/c the man who knighted her is the same scumbag he's always been. Now she has to go back to the very woman she swore to serve AND the Mother of Dragons and admit that she was wrong. Maybe Brienne even takes out Oathkeeper and throws it on the ground (since it was Jamie's first), then turns her heel and SHE walks away, leaving Jamie reeling from the attack. But noooooooo, we had to get Brienne crying over Jamie's crippled sister-fucking traitorous ass. And for what!? Tormund was RIGHT THERE!!! Side note: Why, why, WHY weren't Missandei's last words "valar morghulis (all men must die)"!?!? I guess she said "dracarys" to remind Dany that she was standing there with a GODDAMNED DRAGON and to at least avenge her in death instead of...you know...climbing back on Drogon and flying the fuck away. Re: Sansa's reaction at the party What Dany has not grasped - and what Sansa HAS grasped - is that by making Gendry a Baratheon, HE is now the rightful heir to the Iron Throne. Why? Because Gendry is now the legitimate son-by-marriage to the current queen of Westeros and has relations to the last FOUR Westerosi monarchs (Cersei, Robert, Joffrey and Tommen). Right now, Dany's decree is worthless b/c Dany is not the queen. But when Dany takes the throne, Gendry can rally the people of King's Landing as the son of Robert Baratheon. Sansa fully understand this, and Tyrion probably would have told her that had she...y'know...asked. (See also: "I'ma ignore this very valid suggestion from Sansa to go take a damn nap - OH SHIT WAS THAT A SCORPION!?"

Megan McInnis

Can we stop with the sexist stereotypes please. Incredibly harmful rhetoric

connie

Mind you, Jaime and Brienne are one of the most popular couple in Game of Thrones, both the books and the TV series. I really think the only ones who didn't see it coming weren't really paying attention or just didn't think Jaime would be attracted to Brienne, but even GRRM said their story was like a reversal Beauty and the Beast.

I work in a profession, laboratory, where the majority of my bosses are women. Maybe you work in some emotionally charged cosmetic shop or something, but laboratory women are pretty deadpan and pokerfaced… not all this “emotion”.

Elizabeth Esposito

Listen I am women I am listening that generally speaking women make do not make leaders I studied history and I work under boss I know talking about.

Elizabeth Esposito

As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths. Isaiah 3:12 usually not a blessing when women rule. Biblically authority not mine own, mordern society said that's sexist. I would corcern more God said than so called morden antichrist society conditioned people to believe that's any hot topic.

Avishai

How is it asking him to not be a man? Its his will to not be king... First you unfairly judging Dany for wanting what her reality has set her up for. Now you saying Jon not a man if he not king in the end??? IM NOT SAYING IT.... BUT IM SAYING IT. Sound like rigid and archaic gender roles to me.

Seva

wtf

Seva

Elizabeth, you are overlooking some key points about leadership and emotion. Men are equally emotional; it's just that society often discourages them from expressing it, which often leads to toxicity or even mental health issues. In reality, leadership quality isn't tied to gender, but to skill, experience, and character. Lithuania’s most effective and respected president, Dalia Grybauskaitė, is known across NATO as the "Steel Magnolia" for her balanced, decisive leadership. Her work continues to benefit our country to this day, showing that women leaders can be just as capable and tough as any of their male counterparts.

Constantdev

you know that's fan made AI right? Not saying it's not good

khala genae

I always go back to Dany’s origin with the Dothraki when I think about her leadership style. Her brother posed the question to Jorah “who can rule without money, or fear, or love?” And when Khal Drogo was dying, Jorah had to remind her that the Dothraki only follow strength. Once Dany lost the love of the slaves she freed, all she had left to go on was the fear of her power (dragons) or strength (the armies she was able to command). After so many betrayals, Jon’s origin story, the loss of 2/3 dragons + her soldiers, AND Missansdei, there was no more room for love. I definitely agree that she was starting to tear at the seams but we gotta give her some grace. I think we can all agree that she’s a better choice than the current woman in leadership & she STILL can’t get the love of the common folk. Even the most level headed leader would start to fumble under these circumstances. She can’t trust her advisors & she’s truly alone at this point. I understand her haste to just get this over with & take her crown. Anywhoooo. Look how far we’ve come since the Red Wedding! I’m proud of yall for toughing it 💪🏾

khala genae

I agree with most of this BUT Lady Tyrell (the realest one to ever do it) told her the men were silly. She said “BE a dragon” and I think at Dany’s wit’s end, that’s what stuck with her.

Diego sanchez

The red wedding was not in the north. It’s the riverlands. Addison is so wrong throughout this whole series and Brandon seems to know what’s he’s talking about often and is usually right 🧠

Diego sanchez

This is one of the few episodes where I agree with Adisons points more than Brandon’s

Remy

Sansa did warn Dani. Dani is arrogant and does whatever her impulses tell her. Now look.

Remy

Ito Addison is very good at seeing the charecters true nature and also he remembers things that have happend to build the character. I think you missed this .

Joe Barriman

Sorry, the killing of the dragon had nothing to do with them waiting or not. If they waited 1 month, there would have been 1000 more scorpions created and would have probably taken out both dragons, Daenerys and all her ships so I disagree with Brandon's point. The real issue is that they know scorpions exist (battle at Highgarden) and not Tyrion (the incompetent hand), the war experts or Daenerys thought to be aware of scorpions when flying straight into the enemies territory. Why not send a team ahead to survey the area? Why not let the dragons fly behind since they're the most valuable asset?

THE STARBUCKS CUP EPISODE YASSSSSS

Shea

I think Sansa told Cersei Dany's whereabouts knowing Jon wasn't there...

Camillionaire

Jon (Martin Luther King) Tarygen 🤣😂

Camillionaire

Brandon was not feeling Gendrick and Arya pairing at all. Brandon will always be a sweet summer child when it comes to Arya. L

Camillionaire

Cersei, is like Lord Farquad on Shrek with Red Keep. Some of you may die...

Adelaida Nodal

Pod wasn’t just singing with his throat…. You can still be a virgin technically even having had oral sex.

sumaya

Bruh I disagree heavy with Adison saying Dany asking Jon not to reveal himself was asking him not to be a man. He himself said he doesn't want to rule and doesn't want the throne. She has laid all her cards on the table and he just refuses to see that if he reveals it, everything Dany said is gonna come true. Like she literally begged him that if he didn't want it, to not reveal it. Also were acting like Dany didn't work her ass off to get to this stage man, she deserves everything she'd get with the throne. And the simple fact of there being a male heir would ruin everything she built. I would have been against Dany if she wasn't honest and started scheming but she literally told him how it would play out

Targary

brandon made these reactions enjoyable. addison pretending like he hasn’t seen this before is laughable and he needs to stop glazing jon

Dezra Bennett

Pretty sure they knew that and meant oral sex by the throat singing comments. Lol

everydaynegroes

I’ve never seen this show before. Stop the cap. 🧢 Stop the false narratives. -Adison

everydaynegroes

Why would you tell me NOT to tell my truth which could in turn unite even more people and bring us under BETTER leadership? Is the only reason so that it benefits YOU (Dany). Now that we can revisit this conversation…how did it work out??? -Adison

everydaynegroes

See now 😅 I can’t agree with that BUT Cersei needs to be dealt with! -Adison

Avishai

Ok look, Dany turned out to not be a good leader lol. She couldn't handle the weight that comes with not being able to please everyone. And she couldnt do anything besides perform some magical stunt or threaten people. She only ended up making her people, her enemy. And she had to go. Fair... However... Before Dany went nuts, it made more sense for Jon to shut up. He was never gonna accept leadership and if he told and Dany didnt go nuts. The realm would've been thrown into chaos for nothing and it would be Jon's fault. This is a prime example of the issue with Jon's character. You can't just tell the raw truth and move with blind honor without considering the consequences of those actions in a dishonorable world. That's not a good leader either. The implications are just as bad as Dany's style. Just less violent in execution. He also refused time and time again to accept that he should've been put in a position he don't want to be in (pause).

Avishai

I'm saying man. How is it denying him being a man to deny him a position? When he, a capable man, doesnt want said position?

Avishai

I think Adison has good takes and good analysis of the show overall. But he's been consistently wrong (imo) about Jon and Dany this whole show. Jon gets too much credit. Dany, not enough.

Decolonial

Cersei is basically Benjamin Netanyahu

Francisco Morais

Sorry but thats not how it works , just like winterfell , brandon was the rightful King john still was the King , john lived his entire life as a bastard , and his entire life he thought that he was something that in reality he wasnt , and he still has to live that life because of her? Yeah fuck no

Zaki Payne

Remember guys. You can please a woman sexually without using your little man. Pod is a virgin, but he still has a mouth and hands :)

Dani H

The writers excuse for this dipshit writing literally chalked it up to “Dany forgot the fleet was there”

Dani H

Oh shut it. She’s done nothing any of these other “leaders” haven’t done themselves

Dani H

YIKES

Nina

Adison are you geniuenly mad?. « was that rub a dont le Jon ride you again» have you lost your mind. Now you are just forcing the dany hate, thats HER dragon. Not jons, how do you take her toutching her OWN dragon out of context.

Cooper Clairmont

It wasn’t that plot that ruined it, it’s that it was rushed. It would work if it was panned out

La Toya Sheri

Dany is being selfish fr like it's cool he don't want it and u do but want and need are two diff things and if he is what is needed and what the ppl want that is what it needs to be.
