Its crazy to think that the end of Game Of Thrones is here...This is the longest series I've committed to and I want to say thank you all for the love support and fun conversations! Now it's time to start the journey again with another series! I plan on having a YouTube livestream with call-ins from the Patreon & YouTube members fam once I get all of the episodes edited for YouTube. I'll post more details on that closer to the time it happens.

VictoriaM

Hamza Abdi

what is the reason behind them taking the screen away and then back again?

Kate

The journey was fun gentlemen! I lol’d a lot with you two. 🫶

Kim Cottingham

What series do you think you are going to next?if your not sure maybe you could do a poll. Got a list for you if interested: ozark, Vikings. Maybe sons of anarchy.

Kate

Also I need the lil shawty shirt

Kim Cottingham

The hate for Dani. Hilarious 🤣. Agree after season 8 but here for her other seasons. I don’t get really mad though. It’s a show. This hilarious to watch though.

Christian

You guys should check out The Last Kingdom!! I just know you guys would have great discussions with that one.

Discobisque

Thank you for your service 🫡

Qurron Franklin

Yooooo, that Dani shirt goes crazy 😂😂😂😂😂...I am going to need one of those 😂😂😂

Remy

That’s not snow! Loves every moment. Next Vikings or last kingdom. Best TV ever in these three shows. Thank you!!

Tyrademi

After that Gendry scene 🫣 it’s big shawty now.

emma

it’s been so fun to watch yall watch my favorite show all the way through!! thanks for sticking with it 🥹

randvi

So sad to see it end but it was so much fun to be on the journey with you guys 💖💞

TD MoBee

Them shirts go crazy!

Avishai

This writing was so sloppy lmao. All the dothraki died against the dead. We clearly saw them. But now they're back? All the unsullied were standing against the dead and most of them died. But now there's enough to line the walls of the castle? Not even gonna get into the assassination of Dany. Tyrion is an idiot. Jon went from not doing much because he was weighing the morals of his actions to not doing anything at all for no reason lol. Worst ending in history yet somehow still the best show on TV.

Avishai

Lets not even get into the wasted magic. we had people revived and fires out of nowhere and visions and time travel and warging into animals and face swapping. Literally no magic used in this last season but undead and flames. And not even helpful flames fr.

Remy

Lads! The other day you talked through a conversation with Jon and Tormand. What did Jon say? “He said I wish I was coming with you. “

bits

Yay! I actually LOVE this ending 👀 The Starks won the Game of Thones, they now rule the whole map. Bran as King of the 6, Sansa as Queen of the North, Jon as King of the Freefolk and Arya off to see the world. I'm so glad you got there that Jon's "banishment" was not truly a punishment but a gift. Not many people get there. But do you really think that a brother who can see all and who loves Jon dearly would punish him for doing what was right and necessary? No. Bran knew there was no wall, no night's watch. He knew Jon loved the Freefolk and belonged there, so that's where he sent him. Perfect ending.

Josefin Jönsson

this journey has been so great to follow, you have given me so many laughs and I have rewatched this great series again, and loved it again. Thank you!!!

Avishai

Lowkey Jon hasnt really had his head on straight about anything. If you think about it (and judge him the same way you judge Dany, Adison...) he has never made a completely right decision this whole show. Thats kinda the whole point of why at every turn for this whole show, he doubts himself. he even doubts when he doubts others. It makes for a cool duality of how leadership never truly sits in right or wrong. But in this last season, it just became apathy and lack of action and just wrong lol.

candle

Would you say the Starks were always the real main characters? I kinda get that feeling now in retrospect. They/the North were the first ones we were introduced to, and Bran‘s fall was the first important event/cliffhanger in the series.

candle

It is snow, they talked about it in the making of the episode. You can also see pits of it still laying around in the dragon pit when they name Bran king

TD MoBee

It has been a pleasure and a joy to watch EDN’s reaction to this show! Loved it! Got some new phrases out of it. Got some t-shirts on my list to purchase from y’all. Thank you!

Avishai

Aye the unsullied got off scot free because anyone trying to hold them accountable woulda got that WORK lmao

Avishai

I said this one ep 5, ima say it one more time before we done with this show... Yes in season 8 Dany was a mad woman and a horrible candidate for Queen. HOWEVER, I'm not letting Adison go for eventually being right. The way you talked about her and weighed her bad characteristics heavier than her good for the ENTIRE show, is still wrong and kinda sexist. Thats a fact. But since season 8 began, we agree on her. She needed to be checked and killed for what she did. I stand firm though, that you literally had to know it was gonna come to this for any of that criticism to make sense. But its all love. Im not gonna leave like i see some comments saying on earlier episodes. thats just dramatic and weird. And tbh i kinda expected that narrative. I got homeboys that felt that way and we agreed to disagree on her earlier depiction and character. Its cool to disagree, still love the reactions. you're entitled to your view. however unfair it was (in the beginning at least).

Miikori

I've watched the last episode couple times, but I somehow missed the green plant sticking out of the snow at 1:34:13. Love you guys, best way to rewatch the series. Cannot wait for the next big series with you! (*cough*, Wheel of Time). :D

Tyrone Bigguns

dude, they already did Wheel of Time

Miikori

Ye they did. I just didn't really think before writing that last part of the comment :D Just want to see more of it.

Linette Burgos

BTW the spinoff for Arya is now in "coversations" literally found out yesterday...:)

MomoSpice

I can't believe this is the end lol Thank you for this journey! <3

Zakaria Shafea

icl it would be sick to watch you react to supernatural!

Whitney Davis

Absolutely loved watching ya'll reactions man. It's been a fun ride.

DeathSwitch

Jorah Mormont would've been rolling in his grave if he saw what Dany did

kingBD

Probably helps with youtube edits or has to do with the people who watch live with them

kingBD

Now this is a hell of a commitment lmao took me years to get through all the seasons

Charlotte Drolet

Brandon was hitting it dead on imo. Everyone kept telling Dani to be a dragon. I think the final blow was right before they cut her homie's head off, her homie's last words (knowing she was about to die) were to tell Dany to light them up. That's all Dany needed to hear. Everyone left to advise her was Greyworm (who was also angry af) and a bunch of foreigners to her. People who were not her day ones and people whose advice had lost her all her other allies. So she snapped and crashed out.

CS

I think it is possible to say: (a) Dany has always been fairly entitled, self-serving and committed genocide; but that (b) most who wanted the throne and were born royals, probably had the same attitude and may not have behaved differently if they had a dragon and faced that kind of emotional turmoil, and that women tend to get villianized more often for these traits, with people loving to hold powerful women to different standards. The fact that (b) is true does not change that what she did is inexcusable and that there were signs peppered throughout the series although the poor writing ramped her descent into madness on overdrive. I am proudly feminist, but surely, that should not mean uncritically latching onto her coattails because she has some yas-qween-slay moments along the way and saved some poor old brown folk from slavery (only to put them in the capable hands of Daario Naaharis).

AllyBoo124

NOT TOO MUCH ON MY GIRL CLARKE NOW. Dany DEFINITELY has more bodies than Clarke be so fr, idk where Brandon is but must be past mt. Weather. King’s landing had at least 1 million people that’s what Tyrion said. Clarke does not have more than 1 million bodies. I am a Clarke defender until I die idc idc

Jo Gewirtz

There's something you need to know! It's widely agreed that the writers really failed on this last season, but particularly the rushed and poorly written villain arc of Dany. Think about how you felt and how irrational and wrong it felt that Dany SUDDENLY became hateful, moody, going against everything she ever believed. That probably IS George R R Martin's endgame for Dany, but not SQUASHED into about 5 episodes. They totally wrecked this season - from the total lack of resolution & understanding around the Night King (they build it for seasons, suggest motive, it goes unexplained), to the lame ending for Jon who should have killed the Night King, to the crowning of Bran. This show is a masterpiece seasons 1-4/5 though.

AllyBoo124

Yall ain’t even start the show and got me hot about all this Clarke slander, don’t even compare my girl to Dany who lost her mind ever again please and thank you.

GreekGuyReacts

Jon did Dany the EXACT SAME WAY the Nights Watch did him! He wasn't even man enough to tell her what it was before stabbing her like a snake. A woman...he couldn't even kill her like a man. Dany was right, everybody she ever trusted in her life betrayed her. Everybody BUT Grey Worm , Jorah , Misandei and Dario. Which were the only ones worth a damn for her at the end of the day. But everybody was against the Nights Watch and wanted them dead when they stabbed Jon... Jon brought the people who had raped and murdered INNOCENT PEOPLE into the wall, allied with them, befriended them, told everyone that they had NO CHOICE but to accept it, cause he was the Commander of the Nights Watch. Did he not? Why were you two so upset when he got killed? And wanted the brothers of the Nights Watch and little Ollie to pay? Then he HANGED THEM , Jon hanged A LITTLE KID because he went against what JON wanted to do/did. But none of yall turned on Jon or even looked at him wrong ONCE for that. Never questioned, never ever ever... Jon btw, who hasn't been through 1/100th of what Dany has been. Gladly took a little kid's life, cause he didn't agree with befriending the people who murdered and ate his parents. Because he didn't agree with JON'S VERSION OF WHAT IS GOOD!! What did Dany say? "They don't get to choose" Well, that's what Jon actually did to those people of the Nights Watch...told them "Yall don't get to choose what is good, i do!" And Dany DIDN'T FEEL ANY TYPE OF WAY TOWARDS JON! She really LOVED Jon! Which is why she let him be all up close to her and "offered" a kill like yall said so confused, cause he kept telling her he loved her and she was his queen and she, like she did before with people she trusted, BELIEVED HIM , then he killed her! While telling her till the last second she will always be his queen... the most SNAKE death on the whole show. Yall got Dany all the way messed up since the start of the show

GreekGuyReacts

And then yall like "I'm not blaming Grey worm" Get outta here man 🤣 He did the EXACT SAME THING DANY DID But i get it, he a man so he wasn't "emotional" he was just "following his queen"...right... "Grey worm is hard" But Dany ain't right? 🤣 She has conquered how many cities by herself by this point? She literally took down Kings Landing BY HERSELF. Nobody hardest in the whole show.

GreekGuyReacts

The show dies when Dany does, a bunch of nothingness happens afterwards too. She was the best part of the final episode as she had been the whole show

GreekGuyReacts

Dany 100% getting brought back to life too

Jasmine Jackson

Not gotta front, never thought about it this way but you are right. Feels weird.

GreekGuyReacts

Furthermore, people hyping up Sansa... She straight up SEND JON TO THE WALL SO THAT SHE WOULD KEEP THE NORTH! She WANTED Jon out of the picture to be queen, she knew the people were always going to pick Jon over her! That's why she wanted to send him to the Nighs Watch! FUCK SANSA! She is one of the worst characters in the show and she is responsible for what happened to King's Landing as much as anybody. She will be Cersei 2.0 , she learned from her after all and admired her.

Don’tDrinkTheLuminol

Sansa hair alert: at the end of the episode, she's wearing her hair down. No more copying hairstyles from Cersai, Marjorie, or Catlyn--she's completely her own woman now.

AllyBoo124

I love Dany truly and honestly but I cannot defend her in this. Her entire platform was to be different, to no5 be like rulers before her, to not be her father. Defending her on the basis that she just did what all then before her did makes no sense. She’s not supposed to be like the men before her, she didn’t want to inspire this type of fear and hate. I also don’t recognize the Dany from this season but that’s what happened. She was wrong and she showed zero remorse or regret and said she’d do it again to more people. And even comparing KL citizens to the slaves that went to her side. People in KL had it hard and Cersei sucked but they were not SLAVES, they have less of inclination to turn to a new ruler just cuz they say they’ll be better than the current one. They’ve already been through 4 rulers in less than a decade you can’t blame the people. Also THEY RANG THE BELL. She said she’d chill if they rang the bell and she didn’t. If she flew to the red keep fine she burned the entire frickin city down. And Arya only survived all that destruction cuz she’s Arya that girl should’ve been concussed on the floor, although I am very happy she survived.

Evelyn Aviles

Clarke vs Danaerys... it can be argued that Clarke pretty much decimated the entire human race in the end.

Demon Rick

i saw a youtube comment recently that summed it up prefectly, this season felt like a “Sentence” instead of a “Chapter” Oof 🙌

Tyrone Bigguns

lol. you know ollie didn't hang because he "didn't agree with befriending the people who hung his parents." he hung because he took part in murdering his lord commander. if your gonna try to make points, be real about them.

GreekGuyReacts

Why did he try to murder his lord commander? Because he was forcing a decision upon them. Bringing the people who had raped, murdered and killed their people into the wall. "Yall don't know what's good, yall don't get to choose" LITERALLY WHAT DANY SAID! No ifs and buts about it. So, like Jon did with Dany, the nights watch and Olie tried to save the people south of the wall by killing their commander who has gone mad letting these wild people in.... We hated them for it. Whats the difference?

VictoriaM

Thank you for giving us these past months of exciting reactions to one of the best shows created.

Tyrademi

Dany had to die. Her speech was crazy. Telling folks that she was just getting started. But it was sad to see Drogon, trying to wake her and see why she wasn’t moving. The entire show, she calls them her children. The fact that he immediately came after her passing, shows their connection. I believe that most targaryens are crazy due incest. Geoffrey (also incest) was crazy too. Incest f*cks up the genes. 🧬 It’s impressive how Drogon broke the cycle by burning the throne instead of killing Jon. Drogon was smart enough to acknowledge that the throne is the problem. Drogon said: that shit is too toxic. 🙅🏽‍♀️ Power turns human beings into sick individuals. Powerful statement in my opinion. It’s not that Jon didn’t knew that Dany wasn’t fit to rule. He’s more than aware. Jon is a pure hearted character. He knew that he had to carry the burden of killing Dany. But since it’s so unlike his character, he just didn’t want to. He did it anyway, which yet again shows that he always does what’s right. Most unselfish character on the show. After so many battles and losing 2 females (Ygritte and Dany), he’s more than happy to join the free folk. Jon took care of business (Ramsey and army of the dead). He gave his siblings (cousins) a home to go back to and he left the world in a better place by killing Dany. That man deserves retirement and peace. He never wanted to rule anyway. Adison and Brandon, thank you for the reactions! Loved each one! Vikings, the last kingdom or outer banks next? 🫣

Kelsey Mills

PLEASE add The Last Kingdom to this poll. 🫶

The Emerald Duchess

Dune time? Dune Prophecy as well? Yellowstone? Sons of Anarchy?

Gmoney

you so brainwashed she needed to go and u r defending one of satan's best soldiers

Jasmine Jackson

The most frustrating thing about the last season is that foreshadowing is not character development. The writers of this show got lazy and rushed or just skipped over a lot of character development that was required to make some of these “end points” make sense. For example, yes, dany did show glimpses of being a violent, cruel leader; HOWEVER, every single leader in Game of Thrones shows that at one point or another. We also saw dany exhibit kind and compassionate leadership, especially to people struggling. The existence of a character trait does not indicate its future dominance. We are going back and fourth about why dany snapped when it doesn’t follow the logic or world building of the last 7 seasons. There is no reasonable answer because the writers took massive short cuts to get there. Y’all remember that “if the south won the civil war” slave fanfic show they were gonna do?? 😂🤣 TL;DR - It’s unfortunate. The writers were too lazy to give Dany a worthy character arch.

Rindamarie

I was pissed off about Bran when it first aired. But the season 1 poster told us who would end up on the throne. They could have given Bran more of a personality or screen time the last 2 seasons to set him up properly. His character wasn't even in Season 5! I know the writing failed all the characters and the entire season felt rushed. As slowly as the story unfolded, it should have taken as long to resolve. The long night should have been an entire season; especially since we watched Theon be tortured for an entire season. All the build up with the Night King & Jon and it resolved in 1 episode. Grey Worm & the Unsully went to Naarth (they will die - look up Naarth history) and I assume the high lords know the Unsullied are sailing to their deaths. I also believe the other lords would have requested their freedom - like Sansa did for the North. This is especially true of Yara Greyjoy who had negotiated the independence of the Iron Islands with Dany. The way the season played out, I didn't believe the ending of most characters. I didn't buy Jon/Dany's love story but I thought she would have his baby. Arya was the only one that was believable but there are some fans who are mad she killed the Night King. Starks are known for keeping oaths, but Sansa ran her mouth about Jon. There are a couple of lines where Jon or someone else tells him that he'd be happier with the free folks. But I still feel the show gave him a subpar ending. Bran and Sansa are the 2 most powerful people in the 7 Kingdoms and Jon has to go to the wall? He could have gone with Arya. He is the song of Ice and Fire being both Stark & Targaryen... in the end it only meant he rode a dragon. They didn't even discuss him being the rightful heir to the throne when picking a king! I hope the books end his character arc better. I don't expect him on the throne, but back to the wall?! Game of Thrones is a masterclass of storytelling the first few seasons. As much as I love the season 6 finale, it is the season the storytelling started falling apart. Enjoyed all of your reactions!

The Emerald Duchess

The shirt swap…..laughed out loud. Amazing. I knew you guys would be half funny half baffled by the ending

Nymeria Stark

thanks for the awesome reactions!! 🐺

Dr Nigel Tufnel

It's been a blast watching this series again with yall, you guys are hilarious and brought up some really good points and perspectives, I'll keep up with yall un YT and circle back around after the holidays, peace. ~ Valar Morghulis - Valar Dohaeris ~

Stefanie Anderson

One thing I never understood was why there was still a need for the Night's Watch or the wall if Arya killed the night king and all the white walkers died when she did so (since he was the OG). What is there to guard against now???

Sylvia Jo

Hearing anyone Defending Dani killing all those innocent people is wild. Especially when she decided she’s gonna do same in all other parts of the continent Now this part was writing was written by the show. I want to believe GRR Martin had a better story line for her

Sylvia Jo

Its different. Jon did nothing but try to help and protect others, so that betrayal hurts. Dani.. lost her damn mind. She had to be stopped

Sylvia Jo

Everytime I can’t find something I want to watch on tv, I just watch game of thrones. I’m in double digits now in how many times I’ve watched. Now I’ve enjoyed watching it again with y’all. Thank you for this journey

GreekGuyReacts

It's not different from any of the characters perspective , you are just biased as a viewer

candle

Your views are delusional LMAO. There is no Night’s Watch. The Walkers are gone. It was a loophole to get Jon to live as a free man which we saw him do at the very end. The Northern people did want Sansa as queen, there were even voices saying maybe they should have chosen her over Jon after he left for dragonstone. It wasn’t only her decision to send him off yet here you are acting like it. 🤡 What about the literal king Bran? Are you also going to accuse him of sending Jon away because the people would secretly want him on the throne instead?

candle

Stop trying to force this view on others. 🤡 You’re literally telling them what to think. They didn’t feel that Dany’s arc was rushed and they even said they called her going down this path from Season 1, which I and many others agree to if you read this comment section. Many fans, especially Dany fans, were simply romanticising her and ignoring all the red flags. It’s fine if you didn’t want this kind of ending for her but don’t go around trying to tell people it what to think. They didn’t even notice/feel it was rushed yet here you go telling them that’s how they were supposed to feel.

GreekGuyReacts

Jon had showed 0 interest in the Throne of Kings Landings he however WAS the king of the North up until Sansa agreed to banish him away so that she would keep the throne. CLEARLY the Watch still exists in principle since Tyrion told him he could father no children.

candle

Did you even watch the show? He was the king in the north up until HE bent the knee to Daenerys and gave up his crown. 🤡 Did you miss that? Did you miss everyone, including Sansa, being angry at him for it? The entire last two seasons she was vouching for Jon to be King in The North and in the end even King of the Seven Kingdoms. But sure, she wanted to take it from him. And Tyrion has never been known to make snark remarks right? Tyrion also knows exactly what goes on in the North, right? There is nothing to guard. That’s a fact. We literally SAW Jon ride off into the sunset with the FREE folk. Maybe you need it spelled out for you but to most this was a pretty clear show-tell that Jon is off chilling until the end of his days.

Jaslyn P

About to do a GOT 1x1 rewatch of your reaction for pure nostalgia now. 💜 Thank you for a great journey gentlemen! (Brandon, please finish The 100)

PVaughn

It’s been a pleasure watching y’all reactions to this series!

Avishai

This what i be saying but not saying though! Its cool, im still rocking wit em. But we all got homeboys that swear they fair towards men and women. But grey worm HARD though lol.

Avishai

Broooo! THIS WHAT IM SAYING. And you can't tell me its not because Jon is a man (white savior). The ONLY difference in the two of them is that Dany was more assertive and Jon was more reserved. Which does make him better but not by much AT ALL.

Avishai

I will disagree that Jon hasnt been through 1/100th of what Dany did. He absolutely has been through a lot. Dany has been through more. But Jon has also been through a lot.

Avishai

This comment needs to be boosted. I really need them (adison frfr. You can lowkey see when he makes Brandon change his mind through he episodes.) to see how this show exposed some archaic views they have.

Avishai

Trying to force a view that the ORIGINAL BOOK WRITER SHARES is clown activity now? Man yall fans have a point in Dany being a villain in the end. But the way yall allow yourselves to validate your views behind writers who themselves admitted their story took hits due to being rushed, is nuts. No actually, thats the real clown activity lmao.

candle

No. These two and many reactors did NOT feel it was rushed. They just didn’t. You sat here and watched their reaction, expressing nothing like the disappointment y’all felt and STILL y’all go “well actually you should think this was rushed and bad”. I don’t care about what other fans or whoever said. I’m just pointing out that telling people how to feel is clown behaviour. “Hey many people actually think this so maybe reconsider what you think” is weird. Not being able to let people enjoy things without mentioning that you/others didn’t is weird.

candle

Question, do y’all not realise that Jon has always been about what’s good for the people and about the greater good and not once did anything to further his own position? While EVERYTHING Dany has done was to further her own position? Even freeing the slaves wasn’t selfless, it conveniently made her the ruler of several cities and got her the biggest army. Jon’s agenda has always been “we need to unite and defeat the common enemy” and Dany’s agenda has always been “I need to be in power at all costs because I’m the only one who deserves it”. Dany killed strangers for not immediately bending the knee to her, Jon/Robb/Ned killed people who were already sworn to them and then disobeyed them. Claiming that’s the same or even similar in any way is crazy.

Fyre SPell

The fold of Brandon's shirt had Arya scowling the entire episode. LOL

bits

Yes 100%.

GreekGuyReacts

Oh i'm rocking with them, i'm a Patreon cause i enjoy their reactions! 😆

GreekGuyReacts

But let's not act like there isn't a clear difference with how they've perceived different characters actions based on their gender. I'm not saying it they are even doing it on purpose, it's like you said, men sometimes don't realize they are doing it and women do it also, it's not a man vs woman thing, it's a societal norm thing.

GreekGuyReacts

Yeah 1/100th is hyperbole on my part of course, he has been through shit. But i would argue (outside of dying, which he even escaped that) he has kinda had the most peaceful journey through game of thrones out of EVERY major character.

Gmoney

Dany was one of the worst ppl in the show all she did was use just causes to mask her true intentions to rule the world which makes her even worse than ppl who r straight up about who they are

candle

Same thing can be said for people romanticising female characters and giving them the benefit of doubt just for being pretty and female. Refusing to accept a female being morally grey or leaning towards a darker path just because she started of as the perfect stereotype of the female victim worthy of support is also biased. Let’s not act like this doesn’t go both ways. If they’re biased, so are Dany fans. And I say this as a woman who is very familiar with sexist biases towards fictional characters and usually the one saying “you only say this because it’s a woman”. Dany isn’t one of those cases.

GreekGuyReacts

Just because you have a different opinion than me, that don't make it the right opinion. I don't have an issue with saying that a female character is morally grey, or learning towards a darker path. I didn't even have an issue with them not liking Dany (calling her the worst character on the show morally i just insane tho) BUT what i will not be ok with is the double standards being show when it comes to characters who are literally operating the same way (in this case Grey Worm and Dany being the perfect example of an unconscious bias)

candle

….You didn’t name a single point that would make it biased or unfair to judge Dany and Grey Worm. You’re not explaining why you think their views are biased at all. Can you provide some situational examples of where their judgement wasn’t fair? She killed thousands of innocents in a fit of rage and you still don’t think calling her the worst character morally is warranted…? How does that not come from a place of bias? She quite literally did the worst thing imaginable. Like what more did y’all need her to do to see it lol? Eat a baby?

Juls

I don't know if someone said it already but there were jokes that the finale felt like Catline Stark wrote it. Bran king, Sansa queen, Arya on adventure and John gone north.

Juan G.

never heard that one LMFAO

Megan McInnis

What a journey!! It was so fun to rewatch this with y'all

For the Watch Fam

Ugh! No disrespect but the blind loyalty to certain characters frustrates me. I can't stand when ppl defend Dany's actions. We literally saw her killing babies, come on guys. Idc how much u like a character, where do you draw the line? Jon did everyone a favor. He saved thousands of other lives by taking out Dany cuz she was prepared to Conquer the world. She was evil, egotistical and greedy by the end. Adison & Brandon, ya'll are some real ones and will always have my support and respect. Many blessings 🙏🏽

Kizz

8x4,5 & 6 is the worst disaster in TV history.

Kizz

Facts nothing made sense at the end.

Kizz

She was always going to become mad but the writing and execution was awful. My disappointment was the nothingness especially with Jon what a let down his ending was on top of everything.

Kizz

She freed slaves to get them on her side only to kill innocents and children who were surrendering in Kings Landing lol, The writing was tragic and there should've been longer episodes.

Kizz

Do you even know what the Nights Watch is? Protecting Ollie why? He was involved in conspiring to murder, murder and treason. He got what he deserved. The Nights Watch is similar to a prison in which they are used to fight against wildlings, It was an ancient order. What he did to unite people later on was great, He flushed out the bad vile people who weren't going to do anything but only for themselves. The only terrible thing about Jon was not taking up the rightful heir situation and became useless because of poor writing.

Kizz

To LOVE the ending is wild haha, To be comfortable with it because the Starks won is fair but Jon became the biggest loser of all time. I wouldn't say it's perfect.

Kizz

@Aly The writing for 8X4,5 and 6 was TERRIBLE though. The execution of Dany's twist was rushed and poorly written in how quick it happened and how it happened. I don't have an issue with her going mad but the situation in 8x4 were Dany starts day dreaming on her dragon on her way to Kings Landing and gets her dragon killed (pathetic how the writing magically makes her blind to Euron's fleet) and it also gets Missandei caught. Then the situation in Kings Landing when she's staring at the tower Cersei is in but decides to burn the innocents was so random it was insane. It was HORRENDOUS writing in basically 3 eps.

Kizz

But it was Dany's fault for not listening to council when she got her dragon killed and Missandei captured. It was her own doing and ignorance as well as poor writing as well.

Remy

No it’s not! The more the watch it the more you understand it. Jon is king of the North and free with his people. Sansa Queen of the North, Arya free and happy Bran king but letting Tryion run the world. Perfect ending. Dami the tyrant dead. As she deserves. Loved the ending. People just wanted what was never going to be.

Remy

Loved watching this with you two x

Martin7777

those babies were evil and supported cersei!

Martin7777

What's a detail everyone else misses?

Martin7777

Nights watch: sssh don't ask questions, it's very bleak up here, we are definitely not just drinking and partying with the wildlings

Martin7777

yeah dany didn't snap, she was a psycho from ep 1

GreekGuyReacts

I don't think you understood what i said @Aly i didn't say it was unfair to judge Dany and Grey Worm, i said that it shows a certain type of bias if you judge them differently when they are operating in the exact same way.

GreekGuyReacts

And Jon was also involved in conspiring to murder, murder and treason. Which is what i said. He should have gotten what he deserved too.

connie

Dany is the one with the dragons and the power, Greyworm is a subordinate who owes his whole ass freedom to Dany, who gave him a purpose after being forced to be a slave to others. Not to mention he was raised to fear nothing and be nothing but a puppet for violence. Greyworm never promised anything but to be loyal to Dany. I can understand his mindset far more than Daenerys, who had every opportunity when she had power to do better and stand on what she claimed to believe in, but as soon as she didn't get the praise she desired, she went off.

connie

This, always trying to use feminism (only when it suits them, they'll go off on certain other female characters though in a heartbeat, it's hypocrisy.)

connie

@GreekGuyReacts Sansa didn't send Jon anywhere. The show clearly stated that BRAN sent Jon to the Nights Watch. It's actually INCREDIBLE that you literally HEARD Tyrion say "SANSA and Arya wanted you (Jon) FREED, but they understand THE KING has to make peace." And you got out of that "evil bitch Sansa wanted Jon out the way so SHE can rule!" Hilarious, considering you're literally WRONG, and Sansa was the one who squared up to Greyworm just hours earlier threatening to fight him if they tried to harm Jon! Furthermore, Sansa isn't going to do anything to Jon if he "deserts" and goes to the Wildlings (which this was foreshadowed by Tormund in episode 4, that Jon had the "real North" in him. He would be far happier going with the Wildlings). Sansa isn't responsible for a woman with a whole ass DRAGON and an ARMY behind hers emotions. It's funny how just like Dany in the show, some of her fans like yourself decide to blame everyone except her. Dany always has to have someone talking her down from committing heinous crimes, regulating her so she doesn't go off. Time and time again we got told this in the show, from Barristan, Tyrion, Varys, etc. That "as long as Dany had people counseling her" she won't be like her dad. Why does she need to constantly have someone in her ear to not go off like the Mad King? That should've told you something right there. But no, let's go on and blame everyone else for Dany's behavior, right? For all you guys speak on how women are treated differently, you're doing the same by absolving her and denying the agency she presented when she did the things she did! "She knew the people would always pick Jon over her" Mind you, Sansa had the opportunity in season 7 to "betray Jon" if she was about that life, and she didn't. The people even said "they didn't choose her, but perhaps they should have." Arya, who is arguably the most loyal to Jon was there to show you that your bad takes about Sansa were false, when in the end, they were on the same side and Arya defended Sansa ever since. But still some fans want to cry about Sansa being "evil" and Cersei 2.0 (a ridiculous sentiment, Sansa learning from those who did her and her family wrong, in order to do right by her own and her people will never be a bad thing, no matter how much ya'll try to twist it). Especially while defending Daenerys who massacred hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians, including literal babies. It's insanity. And STOP trying to compare Jon killing people who murdered him to Dany who massacred thousands of innocent people! Jon brought the Wildlings over because it would've been STUPID to let all of them turn and make the wide of war against the night king even MORE difficult. Did you forget the Night's Watch had less than a thousand people in it?! How were they supposed to defend anything!? Jon did the right thing. The brothers of the nights watch were holding on to traditions and beliefs they thought were right and have been upheld for generations, but they would've been the doom of everyone if they'd succeeded. Jon didn't kill anybody on some kind of power trip, and Ollie's death actually haunted him, unlike Dany who did gaf about the people she killed.

Kizz

Jon should've been king (finally a good Targaryen). Bran should've been hand of the king (knowledge and eye of the world). Tormund should've been king beyond the wall. (Leader of HIS people). Sansa warden/queen of the north. (Always wanted to be a queen). Arya should've been a knight to look out for her family always. (Always wanted to fight and defend her family not run away). This is the perfect ending.

bits

Fair if you're a Jon stan but I never was. Honestly I'm not sure why Jon had to be elevated to anything special in the eyes of the fans? I guess that's where we differ -- to me, even with his birthright, he was the reluctant hero the whole dang show and to see him ride off into the sunset with no burdens on his shoulders was great to me, not wild at all. If he would have ended as king I'd have been sad for him; his character hated the south and hated the idea of ruling. In his ending he didn't die and he's w his pet, his bro and his people in a free wide open land with lots of potential for the future. So I'm not sure why that's a bad ending for the guy unless you just wanted him to be king. 🤷‍♀️

Jacena

not Lil Nip 😂😂😂 y’all are wild! I enjoyed this series. Thank you ❤️

connie

I don't know why they're acting like Adison hasn't clocked Dany since season ONE. He's BEEN saying something off about her, so that tells you not everyone drank the Dany koolaid and in FACT saw darkness in her from the START. He isn't the only one, from book to show readers, people had been theorizing Dany would "go dark" YEARS before the final season. Her stans didn't want to believe that because they were so far up her ass, they'll excuse anything and everything wrong she does, but then they'll go on and attack other characters who haven't done even half the terrible things Dany did.

GreekGuyReacts

The fact that Tyrion made sure to specify Sansa and Arya agreed to it is because they OBVIOUSLY would have a say in it. Or are you gonna sit here and pretend like Bran would just ignore their wishes when in literally the previous scene Sansa basically announced to him that she is taking the North. 😂 So, she obviously had sway over what happens. Sansa's desire to rule and be queen has been talked about since season 1. Her attempts to even undermine Jon has been evident through out the entire last 2 seasons. Arya even clocked her for it! Sansa did not adhere to the people telling her they MAYBE should have picked her (not because they liked her as a ruler or leader more than Jon but because they thought Jon had abandoned them for the dragon queen.) because 1 .Arya was literally right there and basically threatened her, that if she did that she would be opposed to her. SANSA WANTING TO UNDERMINE JON WAS SO OBVIOUS THAT ARYA HAD TO REMIND HER SHE WAS A REAL KILLER 😂 2. She was aware Jon would be coming back anyway and when he did, more people would back him again anyways. But even when Jon was being questioned when he was away she didn't even have a firm stance for him. She let people undermine him, like Arya pointed out again afterwards. She wanted to rule Winterfel, that is not even a debate. That's why she also looked upset when Tyrion said Bran should be King of the 7 kingdoms, they literally showed her being upset at it. It's clear what her intentions have been. Trying to act that's not the case is delusional. On Dany. Sansa is responsible for Varys death because despite giving a promise to Jon she broke that promise and told Tyrion, which resulted in Varys going behind Dany's back to kill her, which resulted in Varys getting killed. Just like Dany warned him she would and just like Dany told Jon would happen if he told anybody. Again, Dany has went out of her way to let people know what needed to be done to avoid further blood shed, at every turn, nobody listened to her. All the way back to Mereen, if the highborn noble son, Dario and everyone had listened to her and never re-opened the fighting pits then the sons of the harpie wouldn't have had that stage to do all that killing they did, if Tyrion had listened to her when she said she wanted to go and kill the slave owners who had retaken slavery in Astapor and Yunkai instead of negotiating with them, multiple of deaths would have been avoided again before she finally burned their ships. If her council had listened to her when she said they needed to go and burn the red keep WHEN she said it, all these deaths would have been avoided, funnily enough. People's issue when she was telling to Jon not to tell anybody was "But she just wants to be on the Throne"... Duh, obviously she does, she has said this since the start of the show. Dany has said she is a conqueror since the start, Dany has said she wants to retake the throne since day one, just because she had gone about it the best possible way while at Slavers Bay people decides she was supposed to be some mortality God. She didnt even ever need to free any slaves, that wasn't even part of her goal at any point, but she did. Because she was this "monster" that some of yall are trying to make her out to be? No, because of the exact opposite actually. This was ALWAYS who Dany was, even when she was literally being mounted by Khal Drogo she fought for the women the Dothraki captured in wars. When she was AT HER LOWEST. The only "hineous crime" she did was burn kings landing. Which was A. Her basically snapping and losing her mind if you don't want to talk about poor writing OR B. Poor writing that 100% goes against her character. There is not a single "hineous act" outside of that she ever committed while "sane" . Every other death or life she has taken had a very solid reason and logic behind it and she was right in every single one of them. As much as (unlike any other character in the show) they tried to make it seem like her killing soldiers that opposed her or peole who betrayed her, or peole who broke laws that literally stated that the punishment for breaking said law is death, or peole who literally tried to kill her...was so "morally bad". Regarding the nights watch. "What about all the other people who think they know what's good?" "They don't get to choose" That was a line that Dany said, which based on what happened was supposed to show us that it was the final straw which made Jon decide he was going to kill her. What was Dany saying at that moment? She had an idea of how she needed to go about making the world the paradise she had imagined in her head, like Tyrion said, "If you truly belive that you are meant to change the world, wouldn't you kill anyone who stood between you and Paradise?" So, Dany believed what she was doing was being done for the betterment of the world, "breaking the wheel" as she said, in her head that was eventually going to result in a better world for everyone. Jon acted out those exact same words when he was commander of the Nights Watch. The only difference is the point of view the show presents. You know Jon is a "good guy" cause that's what the show presents you, thus his decisions on what is "good" are the right ones. The ones opposing him, are wrong, they tried to betray him so they must die.. What If the show was made from Olies perspective and the wildlings were presented like they presented Dany at the end? They literally butchered and ATE his whole village...he is presented in a negative light at the end cause he attempted to kill good old Jon... Dany in the end is presented as evil and mad, so of course her decision is the wrong one and it couldn't possibly be right. What if it actually ended up being right and the only way to break the wheel is by force? What happens to the realm after this Finale? I say, it once again devolves into what it was... Lies and backstabbing, like Robert said in the beginning. Countless more deaths and wars, more rape and suffering, more corruptions and everything that was wrong with the realm at the start of the show. When was the longest period of peace and prosperity in Westeros? When the Targryans ruled with an iron fist and their dragons. "Let it be fear" as Dany said. What if that is what is best for the Realm at the end? In the long run? We wont know, the show doesn't want to present an argument for that side much like it didn't want to present an argument from Ollie's side. But the fact remains, Jon did not let the others choose what is right. He believed, truly believed in his heart he knew better than all of them...just like Dany

Please react to alternative endings posted by fans on YouTube 😭🫶🏼

Mel Issa

Cersie told us during the Battle of Blackwater that when the men start killing, the women will wake up ba$tards in their bellies and that’s why she had Sir Meryn there to unalive them.

Kamal Boyce

Always thought It was funny that three eye raven was basically just blood raven so a Targaryen still rules

Tyler Sick

Hell of a journey watching with you two! Unfortunately I don't watch much TV so this is probably it for me on here but I'll catch you guys in 2026 for HoTD season 3!

Jennifer Daniels

Ironically, Bran's punishment for Jon - the one Grey Worm agreed to - has no bearing now because the Free Folk live in the North. That's Sansa's jurisdiction, not Bran's. Jon's a free man! S8 was pure, unmitigated ass cheeks from beginning to end (Bran? BRAN!?!), but Kit said they were all so tired of the show at that time that he couldn't have imagined it going any longer. I can only imagine.

Jennifer Daniels

"How many eyes does Bloodraven have?" #IYKYK

Jennifer Daniels

Well, let's start w/Dany's speech. Either the Dothraki have learned High Valyrian or the Unsullied have learned Dothraki.

Kenia Ortiz

lol I’ve never seen anyone be happy about Bran being the king. He said her could never be lord of anything or even wanted to but then he’s willing to be king???😂 Nothing against Bran lol but the writers really just gave up. Jon’s lineage did nothing except make Dany mad, Dany massacring a city after having freed people for years and Jon back to the wall??? The last 2 episodes were a disservice to such a good show!

Jen Garcia

Dany was wrong in the end, but its wild to say she was bad from the start. She was good in the beginning, bad things happened to her, she was also given some unwise counsel, and all those things led to her demise.

Jen Garcia

I cried for Drogon. Poor baby

Juls

I need you guys to please go watch this 2 min video on youtube called "Game of Thrones Evil Ending" Please do. I makes so much sense. Please if you can do a reaction to it in some GoT discussion you make.

Austin Hogan

It’s been a great journey and I’m glad y’all were team John and hound from the first episode to the red wedding Joffrey , Ramsay‘s end and now the death of the mad queen

Marisa Pardo

The saddest part of all of this to me was that Jon Snow, the fictional man of my dreams, went from being a hard wolf/dragon to shrinking into a damn lap dog for Daenerys up until the very last minute when he kills her. Also, the Iron Throne was always the real enemy. Drogon knew it. 🔥🚽

Omni

Thank you for the journey! The good, the bad, the epic. <3

Festina

Perfect summary 👏🏻 agree 100%! I just hope George finishes the books 🫠

Gmoney

No it wasn’t u just refuse to see the red flags

Avishai

I acknowledged that she had red and green flags bro. At this point, this is a worn out response to people saying that her bad qualities were weighed heavily on purpose.

Jennifer Daniels

King in the North? When did he marry Sansa? Jon is King Beyond the Wall, maybe, but that's about it.

Jennifer Daniels

And yet people had the same problem when Robert demanded Dany's death back in season one. He may have been a fat, drunken whoremonger, but the man was spot-on here.

Jennifer Daniels

But Jon wasn't the rightful heir at all. The Targaryens were defeated by the Baratheons. Dany eventually gained the throne back by right of conquest, same as Robert, but that doesn't do shit for Jon. In fact, the RIGHTFUL heir was arguably Gendry Baratheon thanks to Dany's dumb ass making him the lord of Storm's End. But Dany never named Jon her heir, so he was never entitled to the throne.

Jennifer Daniels

The WORST part is that they ruined this show for another show that was never even made and a Star Wars project they never even worked on. Go figure.

Angel Kendall

I'm surprised you guys didn't notice Tonks from harry potter was the woman traveling with Bran...unless I missed it

Kyo

The people defending Dany even after all that are freaking wild to me. Also Psychopaths can't be rehabbed, they can be taught to hide their impulses better and not get caught. And it wasn't just a "moment" for Dany girl was still feeling good about what she did.

Irontoast

Great reaction to the series guys! I enjoyed your perspectives, joy, and devastation throughout!

KJ

Hints of the Tyrant Dany could be was when she threw a tantrum outside the gates of Qarth early in season 2. Then she quickly developed a saviour complex from season 3.

Brittanie

The reactions from you guys throughout the series were amazing!!!!

that SKZ bias

Wish I had joined Patreon earlier so I could have commented live, but I can't believe this has come to an end! I never had thought of it before but a spin-off series about Arya would be awesome, to think of all the faces she'd collect and all the people she'd pretend to be. Maybe she'd help out Sansa or Bran from overseas as a master of whispers? She could start her own group of faceless men, instead of children for spies.

Shennon

So, after watching this episode, you made me go revisit the 100. I started it a way long time ago and never finished. I'm very glad I went back and began watching again. Thanks for the reminder! I love watching your reactions! Keep up the good work ❤️ I can't believe GOT reactions are over... 😢

Avery

bro overthinks every situation

☆kat☆

Ja would have been so disappointed in how things turned out But shout out to SER Podrick. A mf knight of the six kingdoms PEEERRIIIOOOOODDDDD

Shea

Was the theme music for the series the Stark's music in the show?...

Lakeshia Jackson

All BS aside yo where can I get that shirt Brandon's rocking? I really thought that was Michael Jackson until Brandon smooth it out.

Lakeshia Jackson

Jon was NEVER Drogon's daddy. Those dragon eggs were never meant for Jon, hence HOD. Those Dragons belonged to Dany. Jon has Targareyon blood that's why the Dragons favored him too.

Lakeshia Jackson

Unsullied and Dohthraki would destroy those armies that are left. Addison is such a fanboy of Jon like bruh you be a man. All that nut sucking he doing. #Jonaintshit Then you gon say the Unsullied and Dohthraki should stand trial? For what? They were at war, following their queen's orders. Gtfoh man

Blue

💩

Nora Bee🐝

I’m sad it’s over 😩😭

SamLDN1994

Thanks for the reactions fellas. Great work. Show went massively downhill after season 5, tends to happen when the writers are useless and realise there’s no material from the novels to take. D&D nowhere to be seen anymore.

Moxie

Good, now do the walking dead season finale episode pls

Deshaun MORRIS

Y’all are funny as hell but I’m glad y’all finished and went through the whole game of thrones series and this series made me get a member ship with yall I got a tv series you guys should check out supernatural and if y’all like it and go through with it you definitely need a GOT list for the show lol

happykoopa

loving the lil nip nip celebration lmao

Targary

i have a feeling adison is team green before i start HOTD. never seen suck dic sucking for jon as much as he does it. but fr tho the writers ruined the whole show that’s why they made sure to show daenerys in HOTD to be the princess that was promised. even JRRM confirmed she is

Jess Tyrell

I found yall from got season 1 episode 1 and been here ever since this has been a long ass journey 😭

Lynn Henderson

I NEED that Arya shirt you are wearing!! How do I get to your merch? Is it still available? lol

Coco Walker

I'm just gonna be honest: I actually feel like Ned is given way too much credit for the wrong things this entire series...What learning about JS being a Targaryen did for me was make me reevaluate all the respect being put on Ned's name... Pretty much everything he was given respect for was half truth at best, flat out lie if we're being candid. He knew Robert's Rebellion was a lie...He knew he and his homie jumped a very great Kingsguard, he didn't shoot a fair fade. He knew he broke his wife's heart by bringing Jon home as his son and he knew Jon would suffer as a bastard, he could've at least told Cat.He knew that Robert was plotting to basically kill his in laws when he was plotting on Dany, he knew that because the rebellion was a lie and none of Cersei's kids were Robert's that Jon was the actual heir to the throne by law.He knew from the jump that House Baratheon never had a legit claim to the throne, He knew his days were numbered but still took all of those facts to his grave with him. Yeah too many things could've been avoided or played out differently for Ned to receive all the respect he does IMO. He was a bigger failure to the realm than even Robert was as a king.

Crogadile

They rang the bell and she burned down the innocents anyways. THATS the real problem. Didn't have to get active on everyone like that.

Dani H

Adison and that corny ass shirt

La Toya Sheri

Looks like the Arya spin off is in the early stages. I can't wait to see it.

Tori

Everyone knows when a Targaryen is born the Gods flip a coin....

Tori

You're exactly right with what you said. Jon did do Dany the EXACT same as the Nights Watch did him. However, they did that to Jon after he saved thousands of people, he did to Dany after she killed tens of thousands so it was the right thing to do.
