SassyJ

Ayy another drop! You in there working! Once that notification hit I was hype, I was like “my show is on!”🔥

HBK713🏄🏾‍♂️

Gone have me walking with the George Jefferson cadence all week 🤣🤣

Marcella Kicks

I’ve never been this early. It’s 4am in the UK and I woke up restless, grabbed a drink and just thought I’d ‘refresh’ the page out of curiosity and uh oh. Guess I’m staying awake a bit longer 🤦🏻‍♀️

Sahae

yaay yaay yaay

kingBD

Something told me to wait till tonight to watch ep13 and now i get a back to back

Demon Rick

Milton’s poker face is hilarious 😭😭😭

Zach Macon

I did the same shit😂😂

girlboss

As much as Andrea pissed me off in this show, I was definitely rooting for her in this episode. That was such a good horror chase scene. Felt like a movie.

Rindamarie

I forgot how much I hated this episode! None of my favorite characters had screen time. I’m over the governor & Milton.

Queen S

Thanks for the back-to-back episode guys but about this episode I was looking at the governor's tools that he was going to torture Michonne with and I saw a speculum 😯 I never Peep that when I first watched that man is a sick psychopath!! I'm floored by that unit next time ❤️

khala genae

I didn't peep on my first watch, but this man had a SPECULUM in his torture kit. Just driving home those SA tendencies. Who knows how far he would've taken things 😳 Shane was just an appetizer for the depravity we're going to see on this show. I don't think I'm ready

Wolfy! Wolfi! Wolfé!

Baby Bunting is the name of the song he is whistling and it's the record he played when he visited his zombie daughter

Cleo Griffith

Guys you’ll have to remember the guvnor took the National Guards weapons and you know them guys have high powered weapons. Milton needs to learn to keep his mouth shut about things. Twice this episode he said stuff and the guvnor read him. I’ve always wondered why Andrea didn’t take the guvnor’s truck after she locked him up with the walkers? She definitely would have had a faster ride to the prison.

Harmony

Yay!!💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾

girlboss

He doesn't seem like the type to forget his keys in a truck.

Demon Rick

HEART BREAK KID SHAWN MICHAELS HIMSELF

Let me just say, The Governor in the comics was just- Lets just say that I'm glad they didn't push him completely toothache version the show(the show version is overall a more interesting character though) because the imagery to this day makes my stomach churn. It was probably the only part of the comics that did and the shownhad some disturbing imagery. It set off the Governor/Michonne beef, which was wild...

Camillionaire

Knocked out my TV club homework and now it is for the showdown! Omg, so ready! Thanks, Ad! Let's go ...

Brandon - as a proud Kentuckian and UK alum, I love the shirt ❤️❤️.

When Andrea didn't leave Woodbury with Michonne, she wasn't choosing The Governor over Michonne. She was choosing the security and life of Woodbury over the hell and death of the outside...

Ash Lee Can

I honestly can't really blame Andrea for not killing The Governor in his sleep. For one, she's never killed anyone before, let alone "murder". Rick has. The Governor. Maggie. Merle. Michonne. Daryl most likely. Carl has(mercy killing and attempted to kill Morgan in self defense). We haven't even seen all of #TeamPrisom themselves catch a body. Even Glen technically has despite willing to for his own survival and apparently his own sense of vengence. Killing walkers is one thing. Taking another person's life is a whole nother ballgame. I mean, she was almost civil rights lawyer. And it's one thing to kill someone inself defense, like they're attacking you. To murder someone in their sleep? And killing someone with a knife? That's WAY different than Killing someone with a gun. Killing someone with a gun feels impersonate. A knife? Especially face to face? Having to get up close and personal? That's an intimate Killing. Like the way Rick killed Shane. It probably would have honestly felt easier to shoot him, but a stable to the gut, him holding you as he falls and watching him choking on his own blood while the blood stain you, as the life leave his eyes. That's a hell ofna lot intimate than shoot somebody. And stabbing someone you'd been falling for and intimate with, was JUST intimate with, in their sleep. Sjust stabbing them in head or slitting their throat? That's a hard task to request of someone and even harder to follow through with. Now, again, Andrea didn't know everything that she knows now. WE knew, but she didn't. She'd been getting two different stories from the start and like she'd said. #TeamPrison has changed a lot since the farm, especially Rick. And the reason she didn't kill The Governor since the meeting was because there was supposed to do a deal. Killing The Governor can very possibly eliminate the chance at peace and the whole meeting would have been for nothing if there was a deal on the table. Same reasons she left with The Governor back to Woodbury. Doing these things brings a war that she's been so busy trying to prevent this whole time. Sometimes, it's better to deal with the monster you know instead you don't know. Like Milton said, The Governor dies, Martinez takes over, and they still go to war anyways, and we don't know how Martinez is gonna operate as leader. Hell, with Martinez in charge, the whole Woodbury could fall and the innocent residence right along with it. Sure, he may seem more negotiable and not as horrible as The Governor, but can you guarantee that? For all we know, Martinez could be a different breed of a monster in leadership. Andrea was gonna kill him this time and left now because she knows the truth that the deal is fraud and The Governor is not only going to massacre her friend/#TeamPrison, but that his terms was to receive Michonne so he can torture and kill her, and was explicitly shown evidence of it by not only a close, reliable source from someone meant to be loyal to The Governor tellijg her straight up, but also showing her with his new torture dungeon of sexual assualt...

Christina Smith

These guys are on a roll, I’m loving it 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Ash Lee Can

Now hold on, she's been running all day and night to get to the prison, including dealing with a derranged man hunting her down. I can't blame her for walking to the finish line lol. She's probably tired as hell and her lungs are probably done. She's ain't have single water bottle either, so you know she was dehydrated as well. She was trying g to signal somebody, whoever was on watch(which turned out to be Rick). How was supposed to know that The Governor was already there watching on her? We gotta be fair, y'all lol...

MorganxJKBias💖

Love a good walking dead episode💜💜💜💜💜

OrangePeel

the governor hit the iconic “let me ask you something” at 8:26

Landon

Ain’t no way you defending Andrea this hard😂. She’s a clown who makes stupid decisions. Period

girlboss

Nah, she was abandoned and almost died out there even after Michonne found her. She's actually doing what makes sense for her especially since nobody told her the truth until way too late.

blugirlami21

But choosing that over the friend who protected you and kept you alive for 7 months? Nah. You leave with her, hear her out and then make a decision. I don't care how "safe" Woodbury seemed. It was an unknown quantity at that point.

MarcusF

Milton gotta be the dumbest smart person in Woodbury

everydaynegroes

Just checking to see if you woke up yet, cause I got something uploaded for ya!! 😂 -Adison

courtney 🧚🏽‍♀️

nah fr lmao logically smart but 0 street smarts. a lot of people are intelligent but stupid 😂

girlboss

Different world, different fights of survival. Girl Code exists great in ours but it might not be so strong for people in the zombie apocalypse. Just because I agree with Michonne and going away with her doesn't mean Andrea had to or should have with such little understanding of how Woodbury and the Governor operated. That's not really valid in their world. Because at the end of the day, Andrea could have said Michonne was better off staying with her and fighting from within. Does that make her wrong? I don't think so either. They could have been a united force either way and they both would have been justified.

Ash Lee Can

She literally almost just died out there. Not even a week prior. After spending 8 months freezing, starving, always looking over your shoulder. She felt that Michonne was out there for too long(and lowkey, she probably was) and was self sabotaging. They spent 8 months together and Michonne kept her walls up to the point of Andrea. Michonne was constantly stand-offish and kept her at am arms distance. Andrea TRIED to hear her out. Several times, in fact. Michonne never gave her any real clarity about anything. Just vagueness and from Andrea's perspective, she came across as very paronoid when she did speak. Put everything togerher, Andrea was tired and I can't blame her for that...

Ash Lee Can

Pointing out the truth is defending hard? That's literally what happened. It wasn't about Michonne vs The Governor. It was about having safety and comfort vs fear and constantly fighting for survival. Wanting to be safe. I'm someone who can speak on characters objectively, actually can see the perspective of other, and not let my biases get in the way of truth...

Sara Tucker

This! I actually feel so bad for her. Every time I watch this episode.

ForWhyTho

~Insert the song Lost Ones by Lauryn Hill here~ I promise I walk with the Lord and all but my thing with Andrea is like I'm confused by her and it's like she's just as self motivated as the governor but ineffective; when Michonne crashed out - Andrea could have instead of saying she's tired as the reason she didn't wanna face the truth of the gov could have been REAL with herself/Michonne - agreed Say she is mid-seduction of the Gov so chill - there are women/children here they need to protect from him so she could've even kept that perception of moral high ground she appears so concerned with cultivating and things could've played out very differently if she worked with Michonne vs against her I think Michonne would have been down Once she's got that on lock they could take out Gov somehow… 😂 Idk had to share cause I still feel this way and when this first aired and watched with fam; I think I was still in high school? Remember my Dad and uncles collectively looked at me in horror cause they act like I'm saying she should've done that but still I'm not saying it's ‘right’ but I think that she'd be at the very least not duct tapped to no Mfing chair ~ insert Doo Wop by Lauryn Hill here ~ hahaha I think pre zombies she was a lawyer and I work in victims advocacy so dealt with quite a few of these fake morally righteous fools & if they do happen to do anything right it's only as a power grab or for $$$ - and if you do that long enough - playing a part - lying too long - you stop knowing you're lying and that's VERY DANGEROUS No one; not even these false prophet types with their "Who me?" Predator acting like PREY bullhockey Andrea pulled- deserves the Theon treatment for it I just don't want them folk around me; so my heart still sunk as I haven't seen it in years - seeing her fear in that chair 😔 however; it's the exact same thing y'all have said about Theon/Shane trusting no one who can't control their lust and on top of that when explaining their POV stay acting like that it was an Act of God as to why they betrayed friends and not being motivated by anything but SELFISH DESIRES that trumped the love they shared with their friends (in my Sicilian mind these folk were family) Theon-Rob Shane-Rick Andrea-Michonne.

Camillionaire

Brandon is on Shooppard neck. Lol!

isthatchrisk

About the Governor whistling. You asked if that was something his mother used to sing to him: It was the music he played when he brought Penny out of the closet. Must have been a nursery rhyme for when she was a kid (trying to trigger her memory). Now, he does it because he's a psycho and it makes him think of his daughter

Constantdev

Milton didn't say "it's a shame about the pits" and all but say he did it because he's a stupid bad liar. He said that directly to the governors face as a show of defiance as if to say "Yeah I did it because f u. what you're doing is wrong and I did something about it."

Kristy Ranic

I agree with this! She was abandoned by Rick's group after the farm...if it was anyone else left behind..Carol, Carl, Lori... they would've gone back. She'd been with Michonne for almost a year, sick and almost died...she knows exactly what the real world was like. Woodbury was a seemingly safe haven....though they initially planned to leave Woodbury, I don't blame Andrea for not wanting to go with Michonne...they had no set place to go to, no other known safe place. She's made questionable decisions but Andrea has always had a good heart and good intentions. Also, she knew the people of Woodbury (children, innocent people) would not survive in the real world. She was trying to prevent innocent people being killed. I honestly don't think she deserves all the hate she gets.

gayjinchuriki

Watching this again, I'm realizing that this is my least favorite episode of the season. I like Andrea and having to watch her get hunted down made me pretty anxious. I also finally realized what an evil and sick and twisted man Philip is. I was indifferent to him while watching in the past, but you guys talking about him while he was laying out those tools in the torture room made me see how disturbing that was.

Linda Mccloud

Hello NuNu Here!! But melton was not trying to lie he was being petty because he knew the governor was going to know it was him because he keeps inventory over the gas . If ya'll Don't remember him telling Andreea about it at the block party!! Also Melton Knows when the Governor is lying and know he has or about to do something to Andreea. He's a smart but weak man.

jasmin

* The title of the episode, "Prey", refers to Andrea being the Governor's prey. * This episode was originally titled "Killer Within, Part II", but was later changed to "Prey". * The episode's exact runtime is 00:43:11. * Rick and Michonne are the only prison group members that make appearances in this episode. * This is the first episode where Rick appears but does not speak. * The song that plays during the closing scenes is "You Are the Wilderness" by Voxhaul Broadcast. * If you look closely at the unknown person setting the walkers alight, you can see that the gloves belong to Milton. * When the Governor whistles in the warehouse, he whistles the tune of the song that he sung to Penny.  * Starting with this episode, Carl has never appeared in the 14th episode of a season, having been absent in this episode, S4EP14 "The Grove", S5EP14 "Spend", S6EP14 "Twice as Far", and S7EP14 "The Other Side" * Some of the torture implements that the Governor lays out on the table are a speculum, a syringe, a bone saw, a funnel, and a dental pick.

Austin

* Right before Philip shoves Milton against the small fence, his eyepatch is below his eyebrow, however in the next camera angle, it is covering his eyebrow. * About 20:30 into the episode, when Andrea is hiding from the truck and killing zombies, she stabs the second zombie and her hand gets covered in blood. The camera angle changes and she kills another zombie and runs, but her hand is clean. * In the scene where Tyreese is fighting with Allen, he immobilizes him on the ground, however, again when the camera angle changes, he seems to be held above the hole with walkers. * When the Governor is hunting Andrea, he smashes a few windows in the building where she's hiding. When he breaks the first two, there's a jet of steam, showing that it was broken with compressed gas a split-second before he hit it with the shovel.
