Y’all are pushing these out like crazy! I’m here for it tho, love the content train.

Tyah Reacts

Oh y’all really feeding us this week😂❤️ definitely appreciate it 👏🏾

Jen M

Ok, we gone get spoiled!! 😆

Demon Rick

Thats why we love this show so much, we can disagree with the main character etc not just all meat riding the main cast like we all looked at Rick different start of this ep

Danger Tomato

Man I'm grateful but plz show breaking bad some love before yall kick season 4 of Twd into overdrive

Jessica Evans

idk if y'all know but rick's actor is actually british, it threw me off when I realised

Cherono

I am first for generally the first time 😂

lily mccann

I think five people tell them on each video.

Demon Rick

This redemption arc was done so well wow slow cooked

Felice Jackson

Yall are making my day seriously 🙏🏽 Merle definitely redeemed himself this episode especially after his shenanigans in past seasons. 🪦 Merle Dixon

Harmony

Omg! Yall have me discombobulated with hit after hit after hit and im loving it! Yay!!💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾❤️

Harmony

🤣indeed I've said it once before also, but I don't think they've ever acknowledged how many British people are on the show...at least I've never heard them say it🤷🏾‍♀️

Jessica Evans

its kinda crazy how many lead british actors there are, like if you look at most of the marvel line up, alot of them are british.

Camillionaire

I am beyod happy about this upload! Let's go!

julia

y'all don't understand the burst of dopamine i get when i see yall post a walking dead reaction LMAO

Linda

RIP Merle. I do believe he redeemed himself (partially) by letting Michonne go and taking out some of the gov's best fighters. He also gave the gov a run for his money too. I do feel horrible for Daryl. I don't think what Merle did is going to make anything worse for Rick. The war is going to happen no matter what. The gov will not let that go.

k

Binged the rest of the series!? Either im readin somethin wrong or yall tryna make my day

Avishai

TWD is so crazy. Merle is literally the ideal flawed dude that Jesus would walk with to try to fix.

N7

Rip Merle

Tyrademi

Adison, y’all spoiling us. That’s not a complaint.

Latinblu

Lori made another baby in h**l with Shane?!? lol

Arthur Crossley

RIP Merle he was not a “good” man but in life it’s rarely black or white. Humans are complicated. In a previous episode we heard how at Woodbury he spent time in the library and even studying the bible. To me, that indicates that there was guilt for the things he had done. Like michonne said, truly evil people are light as a feather but merle is weighted down. Before he killed the young guy from Woodbury (chasing michonne) he gave him multiple chances to agree to lying to the governor. (Even praised him for his preformance) Why not just kill him straight away? Carol and Hershel both recognised the potential for growth within him in their respective scenes. He loved his brother and ultimately died not for the group, but for giving his brother the best chance of survival. And spared michonne along the way. The tragedy in merles story is he doesn’t believe he can be redeemed or ever be apart of the group. I personally believe with time (and several conversations with Hershel) Merle could’ve become a benefit to the group. He joined the show a villain, but in my opinion left it as something better.

Tami Hart

I honestly got really sad this ep! They give him a good arc just to off him lol 😭

EliG

RIP Merle. He had a sorrowful life.

EliG

Yes. When he told Carol "you're a late bloomer," she said "maybe you are too." Carol and Michonne gave him the space to do, to be something different. And he definitely helped our people. He took out a lot of the "military wanna'bes" - those who had killed for the Gov and were ready to kill some more. Team prison has Daryl, Michonne, Rick, Maggie, Glenn and maybe Carol. Merle evened the numbers and increased the odds. Think he killed about 8 guys. Well, 7 and the kid.

Tyah Reacts

I mean I guess RIP Merle 🙄🤣

Christina

RIP Merle he was a dirty dude but strived for redemption in the end which is all we can hope people who are on a bad course will do

Christina

I’m assuming they meant season cause ain’t no way lmao

Nat

Merle’s arc was well done. At the beginning of it, I couldn’t stand the man. By the end of it, I actually felt sad. Maybe it was more for Darryl but I was happy to see Merle was heading in the right decision, for his brother, if no one else.

Cleo Griffith

R.I.P. Merle. He redeemed himself this episode. I’m still 😠 he hit Michonne but in the end he let her go. And he does love his brother. Did you’ll noticed the kid who stepped in front of the guvnor and got shot was the kid of the guy with Tyrese and them? Yeah the guvnor is very sick and petty and Merle even said it, he gets off on the torture. I mean he bit Merle’s fingers off and smile with blood running down his chin 🤢. And you see our girl Michonne is a Badass, even with her hands tied she was taking out walkers. Alright see you in E16.

Rainbowlion

Michonne having been a lawyer really shows at times like this.

Ash Lee Can

Well, her pre-apocalyse occupation was never confirmed in the show, if I'm not mistaken. So, we don't know if she was a lawyer. It would make sense, but we don't know for certain...

EliG

I think Andrea was the lawyer. Our guys here said Andrea was the court-appointed kind. lol. THAT was hilarious! We really don't have Michonne's backstory yet. Hope coming soon. Like - who were the two walker dudes she traveled with?! She got real quiet and stopped eating when Andrea asked and said something about deserving their fate as petwalkers.

Rainbowlion

Yeah it's not ever stated in the show. It was only ever confirmed in the comics, and comic michonne isn't 1 to 1 with show michonne. Despite that, certain things you see her do later in the series kinda support the notion that she was still intended to be a lawyer. It's honestly kind of weird that they never bothered to include a line about it.

Isis Atlantis

I really think you guy would have enjoyed the Talking Dead which came on after each episode. It had the directors, writers and cast members talking about each episode. They would do a memoriam for the falling cast and best walker kills.

EliG

I never read the comics, but do know they switched up a lot in the show. We'll see, I hope. She's such a mystery. Like how she got so good with that sword.

everydaynegroes

RIP M...I tried to type it but then my keyboard started acting funny... -Adison

AD

A magnificent racist tickled me 😭 but RIP Merle

k

gotta be, they still got atleast another 100 hours left of the show to watch 😭

everydaynegroes

I meant season my fault! That was a typo 🤦🏾‍♂️😅 -Adison

akaSuzyMae

He sacrificed himself for his brother. He let Michonne go. He took out a number of the governor's men. He showed raw heart in the end. It was there, hiding underneath all of the bad. In his zombified state, we saw Merle at his most human, and through his brother's eyes, we truly felt for him for the first time.

Rindamarie

Daryl cried, and I cried—great acting by Michael Rooker and Norman Reedus.

Rylee

kinda only sad about Merle's death because of poor Daryl :'(

Ash Lee Can

I understand why Rick was doing it. He's scared. Plain and simple. He's been losing people left and right this season. Lori, T-Dogg, . He almost lost Hershel. Almost lost Glen & Maggie. He knows The Governor has the numbers & the weapons. The Governor got in his head. "Is she worth it? Is she worth losing all of those lives?" He's scared of losing Carl. He's scared of losing Judith. He's scared of losing his whole family. He wants to believe in the possibility of saving his whole family because he's tired. I don't agree with it, but I understand why he considered it. He wants to believe in the chance of not losing anyone else...

Ash Lee Can

The best thing about this episode to me is Michonne. We know Michonne's a badass warrior. We know she's very observant. We've been witnessing it all season. But in this episode, we're seeing a different side of her character. We got a glimpse of it in "Clear" with her interactions with Carl & Rick. With Carl, she wasn't stifling him and trying to deter him from what he wanted to do because she could tell it was something important to him, but putting discipline in his actions, and showed a bit of vulnerability when she playfully showed off the cat statue. With Rick, she allowed him to lead despite him not trusting her and she knew it. Sure she opposed him when she felt she needed to, but ultimately she did indeed let him lead. She also showed vulnerability to him as well when she confessed about her talking to provide him with some form of understanding and comfort. Doing this allowed her to create trust with these two characters.. In this episode though, we see just how well she deeply understands and reads people, as well as her intelligence. Like I said, we know she's a badass warrior, but in this episode, she's can't do that role as she's place as a prisoner. Fighting her way out was going to be too much of a challenge. So, she chooses to take another route. She uses her ability to read people, but she uses her ability verbally communicate and connect. For the most part, Michonne has been someone who didn't talk much, especially early on, seemingly only speaking when she felt it was necessary. Up until this point, this was probably the most she'd spoken in an episode, probably all season, and she made every bit of use of psychologically affecting someone with her words, further insight on how intelligent she is. With lofting a finger, without physically fighting or being verbally aggressive, Michonne was able to get racist, bigot Merle to not only be vulnerable with her and open up so she could help him see the man he truly was deep inside(or at least the man he COULD be), but also willing to set her free with just her words. She saw him. She saw him to the point that Merle also willingly decided to sacrificed himself and died a hero's death. Having the ability to change the mind of someone like Merle is one hell of a skillset. Now THAT'S what I call badass and she didn't need her hands and/or her sword to do it...

gabby

rip merle. the actor a REAL ONE! he was a headache and a half in this show but he did his best by daryl and it sucks seeing him go before he made his redemption cause i know he could have.

SonjaB29

Yes, Michonne is a lawyer. There were pictures rotating around social media of a few of TWD actors taking pictures of her law office. Michonne Hawthorne is her name.

Samuel Daley

RIP merle. Not everyone can be good, especially when you’ve been conditioned to think evil to survive. He never killed till he met the govonor. He was just a loud racist who found himself in a zombie world. RIP merle

Ash Lee Can

I do respect Rick for confessing his actions at the end with all honesty. A good leader admits their wrongdoings and poor decisions. A good leader knows when they need help. A good leader isn't afraid to listen to their people. I know the group was disappointed in the decision he had mad about Michonne,(Carl definitely looked disappointed in Rick), especially since most of the group appreciate her and everything she's done for the group, including her saving several of their lives and solidifying herself as part of the group more and more each day. The group knows that Rick hasn't been leading in the best way, but they've followed his lead and living under the Ricktstorship was what they all agreed to. Lori showing up with disapproval was letting Rick know that he was making the wrong decision. His conscience wouldn't let go through with it. He realized how bad he'd been making mistakes with his head not being right, to the point that his own son . The Ricktatorship may have been the thing they needed to keep them all surviving before, but woth how the geoup has evolved, and the way the burden has affected Rick, understanding that he, that they have much right to be able to decide for their lives as he did, he knew he needed the group's help of working together... When Merle told Michonne, "I can't go back. Don't you see that?", I always interpreted that as him telling her that he can't come back from what he'd done since the apocalypse. Everything he'd done since he met The Governor. Like Michonne said, real bad men are light as a feather, but as we've seen from this episode, the weight of everything Merle's crushes him from the inside. He can never be the same as he was. He can never go back from being a willing murderer. He can never go back from being a monster. He doesn't know how to. He doesn't feel he deserves to. It'd always weight on his mind and he'd never have peace. Even if he wanted to be a better man, he thinks it's too late for him. Sometimes it's easier to have the world hate you when you when you already hate yourself than to accept acceptance from good people...

Je-Ree O

The actor that plays Merle is the nicest guy in real life but always plays a jerk lol

Tyrademi

Merle did way more f*cked up things compared to Andrea, yet he redeemed himself more. 🤷🏽‍♀️ And if the kid didn’t got in the way, he would have killed the governor too. Went out with a bang.

Demon Rick

Agree Andrea wasn’t even blinded just chose to ignore everyones warnings

Tyrademi

I don’t even want to talk about her. She’s been on the show way too long. She wants to be so relevant, but isn’t. She got to go. 🙋🏽‍♀️

Menia Battle

I understand why Brandon said he's looking at Rick differently, but Rick is nothing like The Governor. I didn't understand why the writers had Rick include Meryl in the decision about Michonne. That was stupid and seemed out of character for him.

xxtccyunno

holy shit man i got so much contenttttt thank yall so much bro yall the abdolute goats

Keke

Merle is taking a permanent dirt nap and I’m only sad for Daryl. Merle did a good thing but he was still trash, and trash eventually gets thrown out 🧟‍♂️.

Queen S

I say RIP Merle what he did he did for Daryl his baby brother is he like to call him I was really sad for Daryl but I think right then Merle redeemed herself I know he was a big a-hole at times but what he did right there didn't only help Daryl it helped the rest of our group too you guys just have to do the next episode ❤️

Michael Lewis

R.I.P Merle (fingers crossed behind my back)

where_is_t

Idk why Adison saying crystal meth made me bust out laughing

Erynn Charlss

As a manager for Kay’s!! You better prefer Kay Jewelers Brandon!! 🙂 thank you for the uploads and dedication both of you darlings!

Sara Tucker

Can’t wait for yall to watch the finale! Gonna be waitin for that notification lol. Love y’all’s reactions every time man

where_is_t

This episode has some of my favorite dialogue of the season. She got in the car with Merle because she’s not scared of him, she knew he ultimately wouldn’t do it (that’s why in the last episode she let him know she knew he let her get away after she left Woodbury). She stuck around to get in his head.

Queen S

I totally agree with you Samuel Daley you're not born a racist that has to be taught and you know Daryl and Merle grew up with a violent father and I'm also sure he was racist too

Melinda

Y'all questions get answered right after you ask or most times while you're asking lol

The Lazy Cajun

The car is a ‘86 box Caprice. First car I ever learned how to drive. Granny let me whip it at 13 bc she left her glasses at home. 😂😂

Montae Williams

It did make sense. Merle was expendable to Rick. He’s Daryl brother but still an outsider bc of his behavior. He was the only one who’d be willing to do the exchange that Rick could spare. And the only person skilled enough to not only nab Michonne but to survive all the way to the rendezvous point. It had to be Merle. And Rick was going through grief, an existential crisis, feeling as desperate as he’s ever been in the series. He’s backed into a corner. At his core he’s not that grimy but this is not only character development for Merle but for Rick too. It’s actually excellent writing. Even the noblest of heroes would realistically make mistakes they regret. In this case the regret was immediate because Rick’s not inherently selfish /cruel.

Wolfy! Wolfi! Wolfé!

RIP Merle I think it would have been more interesting to keep him around longer to have a longer redemption arc but that's just me. And then if they had kept Tdog alive - them having a conversation that would have been amazing to watch

sugacrush

I would have liked to see Merle come back from this or at least be alive long enough to have some last-minute words with Daryl, maybe apologizing. I wished he and Darly had more time together as Daryl loved him and believed he could've been better. I like that he never excused his brother's actions and tried to get him to make up for them. We do have to take a moment to applaud Norman Reedus's (Daryl's) acting in that last scene. It was extremely powerful and spoke of his hate/love relationship with his brother, the pent-up frustration and emotions that boiled over. Truly one of the best scenes, in my opinion.

gayjinchuriki

I liked the scene between Merle and Rick. Merle standing in the dark, his face all nefarious and spitting pure poison. But RIP Merle. He was a really interesting antagonist. I really enjoyed him, and he genuinely made me laugh with how he just didn't give a shxt.

xxtccyunno

the walking dead man . any show that knows and shows the lord . im already invested so thts one of the many reasons why im attatched , i remember crying alot as a kid to this part simply cause iknow daryl truly wanted his brother back

Sierra Davis

Can we let the sins of Lori rest please 😂😂yes, she is living rent free in Rick’s head but let him grieve the way he sees fit💀

Dark D

Yall really want Rick to put his son and his baby (it might be Shane's but Rick is raising her, so he is her dad) in danger over a chick he met 10 days ago? Risk the whole group that he kept together for over a year for a chick he met 10 days ago? Don't get me wrong , Michonne has done some good things, but family first, man. I don't think either of you would send your kid to war in which you are outnumbered and outgunned by a lot. Would you do it over a chick you met 10 days ago? It's the zombie apocalypse, end of the world. Morals and honor are lower than in the regular world. You have to scheme, kill and fuck people over and do fucked up things in order to survive. I'm with Rick on this one. Sacrifice one for the betterment of the many. Now will he governor honor the deal? It doesn't matter cause Rick thinks he will. That is his state of mind. I will debate ANYONE on this, so try me.

Nathan Hale

RIP Merle. Big Merle not the little one.

Nettles

Rick sees Lori every time he is about to make a bad decision. Remember he asked for a sign to tell him what to do. His bad decision is what got Lori killed. He showed no mercy to that black prisoner, and that's why the black prisoner sounded the alarm and let all those walkers in that got Lori and T-Dawg killed. When Rick was kicking out Sasha and Tyreese and their crew, it was a bad decision, that's why he saw Lori When Rick decided to offer up Michonne he saw Lori. Lori is like his conscience.

ReelPiscesPlays

A chick that has protected them all 10 days. Merle, if wasn’t for Daryl, would be on the side with the governor, helping to kill Rick and his kids.

Cole hauser

I’m pretty sure it was Hershel who said “don’t underestimate Merles loyalty to his brother.” Merle was definitely a wild card, but the one thing you could count on is he would achieve whatever his brother wanted, even if it meant his life. RIP Merle cause he took out some of their best soldiers.

courtney 🧚🏽‍♀️

i don’t blame rick for considering the deal bc ultimately i knew that he wasn’t going to follow through. just like merle and daryl said. they’ve seen evil people, before the apocalypse and now during. rick isn’t that. he might not make all the right decisions but he isn’t heartless. i can’t be angry at him for wanting to protect his blood and family. michonne is still new. she hasn’t even been with them a month so yes she’s helpful yes she’s done good things but that could always change. rick himself even said he wanted herschel to talk him out of it bc deep down he even knew he wasn’t capable of crossing that line. he’s human and he’s still figuring out what the right and wrong choices are. he’s still coming out of his psychosis so he isn’t 100% there yet. what makes rick such a good leader is his honesty and willingness to take accountability. he doesn’t think he’s perfect and he knows he doesn’t always make the right choice. that’s why he decided to go back to a democracy. the group has grown so much so now they can help make decisions. in s1 and s2 a lot of them didn’t know anything and lacked experience. after everything they’ve all been through they’re in a better position to contribute to the group decision making. i do wish glenn proposed properly but to be fair he doesn’t have a lot of experience 😅 plus in a situation like this it isn’t that important. him and maggie already know what it is and some things don’t need to be said or explained.

Linda Mccloud

R.I.P big Merle❤️ I Love his honest personality🤷🏿‍♀️ And Lori is that bitter baby Mother who always say even after I'm dead I'm going to haunt you to get her point across and win the argument!! I'll choose merle over lori anyday💁🏾‍♀️

jasmin

she is the formula-a proverb

Daniella Consuela

Nah. Not you saying my girl is 50 here. 😂🤣 I believe it was late 30's, early 40's here.

Sabrina

He's the only one that Rick knows would get it done. Nobody else would have been able to. Plus, simply as a writing choice, Merle had to die somehow - this makes the most sense and gives him a little redemption in the process.

Camillionaire

Dang, I forgot cars use to have antennas on them back in the day. The car that Merle hot wired while Michonne was tied to the pole had an antenna. I just realized the boys might have not recognized that. Or even knew they existed.

Camillionaire

Merle was magnificent racist and a skilled killer 🤣😂

Camillionaire

RIP Merle! 😔 Why didn't you hear Brandon tell you to go for Shoopard and Martinez, lol.

Malachi Preston

Rip Merle, don’t forget he did free Michonne twice free getting chowed down by walkers and from awfully getting hurt by Brian Blake Phillips (governor).

Kerry Wilson

Rip Merle. You were not a real one but you went out doing some real one stuff.

Teal Summers

No, no no. Merle KNEW he was going to die. He told Michonne he COULDN'T go back. He sacrificed himself to take out several of the more trained guys of the govenor's so he did have a good redemption arc.

Shafiq

To be fair in my opinion Merle was a bad guy(mostly forced cause he didn’t want to get close to anyone and it showed) but he wasn’t somebody I feel like was irredeemable. Yes he beat Glenn and yes he captured him and Maggie(and imo that’s really the only horrible thing he did to the group specifically) but even that he did that under the impression they left him to die and never came back and honestly that’s valid. I feel like everything else about him is something he could’ve grown past and I feel like they showed hints to what could’ve been a legendary character arc for him

Austin

* The title of the episode, "This Sorrowful Life", refers to Merle accepting that he cannot be a part of Rick's group and knowing there is no place left for him to go. * This is the third episode to share the same title of a Comic Series volume, after S1EP1 "Days Gone Bye" and S3EP8 "Made to Suffer" * The episode's exact runtime is 00:43:11. * This episode marks the end of the "Ricktatorship" which begun at the end of Season 2 * The outfit Lori is wearing on the overhead catwalk, during Rick's vision while he collects the wire, is the same outfit she wore on the overhead catwalk during S3EP1 "Seed" * The songs Merle plays to attract the walkers were "Fast and Loose" by Motörhead, "Turn It Up" by Ted Nugent and "Rock and Roll" by Led Zeppelin. * When Merle attracts walkers to the meeting point is similar to when the Governor released walkers out of a truck into the prison yard. * Glenn cut off two fingers from a walker to obtain a wedding ring. Coincidentally, the Governor bites off two of Merle's fingers during their fight. This is actually because the same prosthetic fingers were used for both of the scenes. * As said by Greg Nicotero during his and Laurie Holden's (Andrea) Q&A at Walker Stalker Con Chicago 2014, Merle's death was not planned during the initial writing of the season. Merle's death came up on the last seconds before the initial shooting for the episode began. Merle was supposed to be a recurring character in Season 4. Nicotero also said there was a version of the episode which depicts Milton and Andrea tried to kill the Governor by putting a bomb that Milton made inside the Governor's apartment. But the writers decided to scrap it out because they felt it doesn't feel like The Walking Dead. * Michael Rooker had some input in the way Merle was killed. Originally in the script the brief scene where Woodbury soldiers gang up on and beat Merle wasn't there. The Governor simply picked Merle up after struggling with a walker, yelled "Leave him to me!" and beat him in the warehouse. The scene where Merle gets stomped on by Woodbury guards was added by Michael Rooker's suggestion, as he believed that unless he was weakened beforehand Merle could beat the Governor in a fight. Merle's final lines and the Governor's response "No" were improvised by the actors and was not in the script. * According to Michael Rooker, Merle's final lines "I ain't gonna beg, I'm not beggin' you!" were not directed towards the Governor but rather at God. * In the DVD commentary for this episode, it is revealed that Greg Nicotero's father cameos as one of the walkers near the prison fence in the first scene of the episode. * Also revealed in the DVD commentary was an alternate version of Merle's death after the fight between him and the Governor. In the first draft of the script, the Governor initially wanted to capture Merle instead and only kill him after he would watch Daryl's death. The Governor would have told the beaten Merle "I'm gonna kill Daryl and you're going to see him get torn apart." The Governor would then begin to walk away before suddenly changing his mind and shooting Merle dead. * One of the walkers featured in this episode was the infamous "plaid shirt zombie" from George A. Romero's film Dawn of the Dead

Austin

* When Rick finds Daryl in the courtyard, Daryl is holding an assault rifle. However, when the two enter the boiler room, Daryl no longer has his assault rifle. * When Merle and Michonne are driving towards Woodbury during the "We can just go back" conversation, in all of Merle's shots, his window is down. But when he stops the car and the camera view changes to look at him from outside of the car, the window is now up. * In the scene where Merle is the in big box late 80's Chevy with big 20-22 inch rims he is shown driving it in the barn yard drinking, playing music, and zombies following him. The shot changes a few times within the same scene with the big rims on, in one shot the car is shown with him driving it but the stock rims (15") are on the car, the paint of the car looks a little darker too. Then the shot changes again while he is still driving it and the big rims are on the Chevy again. The shot that shows the stock rims is a pretty fast shot so it could be easy to miss.
