Nah if my child, especially my son, kills someone and his life was not in danger, ima have to send you up the river bro. I wouldnt be a good parent to not hold you accountable. I have 2 phones. Moved to a new country and got a new phone here and use it for everything I need here (banking, shopping, transport, weather, work, etc), but I still need the old phone for my banking stuff back home and talking to family who only has my old number. It's a pain in the behind having 2 phones. I don't know how people do it willingly 😭

What's best for your child IS to get a lawyer and not talk to police, REGARDLESS if your child is innocent or guilty. There's a common misconception out there that it's the guilty that shouldn't talk to the police, ask any lawyer and they will tell you guilty or innocent do NOT speak to police more than what is required by law for you to. The police are there to incriminate you and to close the case. They aren't looking out for your best interest and there has been many times were innocent ppl were found guilty cause they just had to "tell their story" or because they talked to the police thinking it was the right thing to do if they had nothing to hide. It's not, keep your mouth shut and get a lawyer.

Parents don't always know if they're child is guilty or innocent. Like I said in my other post even if they do know EITHER way the child needs to get a lawyer and not speak to the police.
