BRAN BALL

Been checking all day for this! Yeah we need 2/day at least for season 6. Respectfully Thank me later!

Sabrina Bookert

Pissed Me OFFFFFFFFFFF. He should have never been alive. Ughhhhh. If no one said it and I’m sure they did, the balloons were markers so they knew where to go next

Landon

This is where the series slowly starts to go downhill with its storytelling unfortunately

Lowlivia

TWD drop? It’s gonna be a good day.

Serena Valle

Really? I felt like season 6 was a pretty good season

Chermia Mathis

I always thought it was more so seasons 8-9 when it the story starts to go downhill lol

Ron Derrick

Sprained ankle dude is the actress who plays Sasha’s husband.

Mixtape

RIP my favorite character. That actually pissed me tf off, and none of the group even know that happened either and no one would ever really know unless they find his body. This is a sad day for walking dead

Serenity

Depends on the person tbh just saw some other reactors love S7 I think it’s easier binge watching

Tyah Reacts

It is because season 7 is still good although yk what happens

Ron Derrick

The black guy is Sasha (the actress) real life husband.

nasa1230

the balloon was just to mark where they were and which group

Nicky A

Gabriel left the gate open

CorsonDrax

Rick cut his hand on a machete that was sticking through one of the walkers. Arguably means the machete was infected.

nasa1230

rip Glenn😔

Xandor

i disagree personally, i think in general twd is good and even the bad seasons are still amazing.

Sabrina Bookert

Also, yall notice only the black folks survived lmao they heard the complaints 🤣🤣

Elena

I don't think so.

Landon

I agree with you but this season in particular starts showing the early signs of regression. The boomerang storytelling is ridiculous and it starts in this season big time.

Sam Bond

6-7 is still good to me, 8 where it really lost me

CorsonDrax

I think being a coward can go away. You just need extreme circumstances in which you're able to come back from.

Fellerz

Told y'all since the second half of season 3 rick starts getting that hand hurt in every season to pay homage to Comic Rick

Gabi

Definitely not. 10 and 11 were bit out of pocket but still OK to watch.

Harmony

Yay!!!💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾❤️

CorsonDrax

Idk how anyone could quit a show over a character death. It's almost like saying that 1 person was the only reason you watched or were invested.

Shawanda

Love yall in depth conversation at end. I agree with you guys. Looking forward to the next episodes reactions.

Rindamarie

Whenever I binge this show, I think I'll stop at the end of season 9. Nope, always end of season 6. I'm going to try to watch their reactions through the end of the series. But as usual this episode sucks the desire from me.

xxtccyunno

rick lettin tht ak spit was perf

Rindamarie

After this episode aired, there were a lot of fans who changed their profile pictures to a dumpster! The memes were plentiful. I hated this episode - #1 Glenn and #2 Morgan's life philosophy nearly took out Rick.

Jacena

another sad day…😞

Edim

One of the most memorable and toughest episodes of the series.

CRAIG

Barely been 2 hours and I'm already ready for the next one

Coco Walker

The problem with cowards in the zombie apocalypse is that they're essentially more of a danger than whatever you're fighting at that moment: walkers or people. Nicholas was no different than Lizzy to me, in the way that her distorted beliefs would've cost too many lives before any sort of breakthrough happened...I always wonder 'what if' when it comes to Nicholas and Carol not being informed at all about what he's done before OGsurvival got to Alexandria and since they've been there. I feel like after Noah died, if she had known everything....Nick would've been and had to 'Just look at the flowers'

Sierra Davis

The way I hollered when Glenn fell off the trash can😭

Melinda

Lastly. Shane would've NEVER made the decision to keep the plan going. He would've went home for certain. Rick foreverrrrrr THE GOAT 🫶🏾

Melinda

Factssssss! I can hear the whistle from here!

Melinda

Y'all face was my exact face during the glen scene, NGL. They had America sick 😭

Rindamarie

Sometimes, one character is all it takes for a person to get invested. For Game of Thrones - Jon snow was my person. For TWD - Rick Grimes is why I watched. But I know for a lot of fans it was Glenn. It's always a character or two that keeps me invested in a show like TWD or GOT.

Gypsysoul

Has anyone told y'all there is a walker university irl! 🧟🧟‍♀️🧟‍♂️🧟‍♂️🧟🧟‍♀️😂😂

Monica Avalos

Idk if anyone has mentioned this yet but Rick's hand is always injured to go with the comics-- he lost his hand early on in the comics but to save in cost they decided to not do that. Instead, he just keeps injuring it throughout the seasons

Avishai

Cowards change all the time Brandon. Look at the military, war, ive seen fatherhood change some men from being cowards. Admittedly It is rare, because ive seen plenty in all those example ruin lives because they couldn’t change. But it happens rarely.

Monica Avalos

That's very true. I still kept watching though because all of the other characters mattered in their own way too

Monica Avalos

I just commented on this before seeing this. I love the way they worked it out to cost save..

courtney 🧚🏽‍♀️

i stopped for a year after hershel. i boycotted for 2 years after glenn. glenn was my fav character well him and rick are tied lol i knew i'd watch it again but i needed time.

Fellerz

I commented it before when they were in season 4 and rick got in the fight with Tyrese and he hurt his hand. I think they started it around the end of season 3 and beginning of season 4, same time The Governor cut it off in the Comic

Kayla

Up until this episode I was watching it in real time and I just stopped watching after this. I was so hurt… eventually I went back to it tho.

CRAIG

I get what you're saying but that only applies if the other characters are "well written" or interesting enough to keep you invested, I mean I stopped vikings after Ragnar died, tried to continue but just wasn't feeling it

KenthalasAT

They didn't need to hire anybody for those scenes. I can remember a few times when the Walking Dead came to town filming, people would line up like crazy to get to be extras just 'cause it was cool. They only filmed in my town twice, but that's all it took.

Cole hauser

Imma keep this one at a I enjoyed the reaction for reasons😂😂. The next episode is my favorite episode in the entire series personally.

14 MD

Would be cool to come back to this cowards convo in a couple seasons time! Get the next ep up already haha. Love from Glasgow

EliG

Rick's plan -- FAIL!

Ash Lee Can

Due to outside interference. The plan was fine...

Lamiah Timsah

I agree with Brandon a coward is a coward unfortunately u can do other things to make up for it but a coward is a coward bless them

Ash Lee Can

If I was Sasha & Abraham, I would have cuss . The whole reason they volunteered to go out there was to back him up and he left then hanging. Like what if something happened to them. Like what if their car got a flat tire or ran into some unfriendlies?

Roland Giles

A couple of behind-the-scenes "Walking Dead" facts for you guys: One of the new brothers - the bald one - whom y'all seem to be vibing with, is an actor by the name of Kenric Green. And HE happens to be the husband of actress Sonequa Martin-Green - who y'all know, as SASHA. - And as far as the other brother, "Heath", I don't know if you guys have seen the movie "Straight Outta Compton" yet, but if you have... well, just take away the dreds and the big glasses and you'll find that he is, indeed, the actor who played Dr. Dre (Corey Hawkins). Just some lovely little interesting facts for y'all.

Sierra Davis

I’ve learned that Glenn will die for others, even those he doesn’t love. This really hit home when he tried to save Aidan. When Noah grabbed Glenn, a swarm of walkers immediately got on Aidan. That’s how close Glenn was to death. Glenn was tunnel vision on saving someone. If it wasn’t for Noah Glenn probably would’ve died there. Glenn believes people can change and they can. Brandon is right tho. Some people require a supernatural force to change.

Ash Lee Can

The Michonne/Will Smith comment was crazy 😆...

Ash Lee Can

Man, there was a whole beef between TWD Fandom vs Dumpsters 😆...

Ash Lee Can

Sometimes when a character dies, it changes the show...

Ash Lee Can

They were using the balloons here as markers...

EliG

The walkers were getting ripped to shreds trying to get through the trucks. Rick had Tobin (?) move a truck and open up the tight gap. Possible to have a walker killing squad 24/7 with folks on duty killing the ones that got thru? Or maybe like one of you said - light them up. Grenades. Something. But to just let out thousands of zombies? Low point for Rick IMO. Gotta consider all contingencies! Rick just rushed ahead thinking he knew better than everyone else.

EliG

Not too happy with Rick these last few episodes. And maybe plan should not have kept going. Everyone going on about "you haven't seen what he's seen" like he's some kind of deity. Everyone lost in the apocalypse - parents, grandparents, friends. Pretty much everyone they've ever known. Rick has his children. How many children you see running around in an apocalypse? He's one of the lucky ones.

Monica Avalos

It's because of that mentality that we have Rick Grimes. He was dead and Glenn was there to save him. He said it himself "I'm a glass half full kind of guy"

Monica Avalos

I knew about Sasha's husband but not Heath. I've seen Straight outta Compton and never noticed it.

Monica Avalos

Daryl told them he trusted them and knew they'd be ok. He wasn't leaving just anyone behind. He knew they could take care of themselves. I understand why he left and why he went back

Monica Avalos

Season 6 is one of the best seasons for me. I can't wait for them to get through it. I especially can't wait for 6x10

Faith

You are correct. After all, he did it in Season 1 Episode 1 and 2.

KING Guyton

A coward can definitely change and you'll realize that further you go into the show

Monica Avalos

Burning them doesn't kill them. Only head shots of any kind. Remember the burnt zombies coming after Carol, Micah and Lizzie? Plus the fire would attract more. Killing them one by one would only work for so long. It would take forever too. Eventually the herd was getting out like it did. They weren't planning on doing it and the trailer fell. What's the plan for then? Let the killing crew die while no one knows the herd is coming? I understand what you're saying but the plan wasn't as bad as you see it- at least I didn't think it was

Monica Avalos

Definitely one of the top episodes

Tyah Reacts

I’m anxiously awaiting 6x9 and 6x10 😂😂 for very specific reasons lol

Sasha

I hated Nicholas but that scene always depresses me

Nunu Lawson

Please Drop The Next One 🤣🔥!!

Cleo Griffith

Rick's plan was fine, until the wolves threw a monkey wrench into it.

Dan

the balloons were colored markers for their plans so they can also make callouts on the radio as the plan went lol

Cleo Griffith

R.I.P. Glenn David and Annie. 2 of a few Alexandrians I actually liked. I know Glenn wanted to have some faith in Nicolas but being out there with that herd, I wouldn't have trusted him. Heath finally got to see what Michonne was talking about when he saw the blood on his face, is it mine friend or walker's? That guy who just stood there and let the walker chewed his neck off, that's what he gets for coming sideways at Rick. The wolves ran up on the wrong 1. Rick showed them they was playing with the wrong 1. I ain't Morgan I'm not letting you live so you can do this to some1 else.

10k eez

they subbed 3 good brothas for gabriel 😂

Queen S

I agree with both of you Adison you made some good points Brandon you also made some good points God can change anybody so I'm with you on that Brandon, and I'm also with you when you said certain things that a coward has in them is just them Nicholas had no business being out there. Glenn is a good guy he's always saving people he saved Rick he didn't have too he could have left him in that tank he has a big heart that's way Maggie fall in love with him Herschel seen it in him too I can go on and on about going I love his character 😭😭😭

Melinda

What you said is a bunch of feelings/opinions. No one is treating him like a deity, just like the leader they chose to help them survive. It's really that simple. Your opinion is yours mine is simple, Rick is the Goat. Top 3 character, the only other two is Carol and Daryl. Carl gets the default mention.

haunted

R.I.P Glenn man 💔

Dan

its funny, my first couple watches i hated nicholas but this watch i didnt mind him and think his arc, tho the change is short and small is decent. Reminds me of Elhokar from stormlight archives.

Jen M

Interesting! 😲

Decolonial

Poor Glenn. This is one of the more memorable episodes for one specific reason. Folks should really go back and read the source material (the comics) though. It's so much better than the show.

Stefanie Anderson

They gave Heath (Corey) a terrible wig in this which is why it took me forever to realize how I knew him lol

TeddyKGB

Halfway through season 8 is where it turned into a joke IMO. After that I only watched to laugh at how bad it was. The producers just started doing completely asinine things for ratings.

Austin Hogan

4:45 in this moment you were experiencing what is known as a Jonah as in the biblical one anytime during the 18th century, when somebody would jinx the voyage, such as feeding doubt to everyones mind they would be cast off thrown into the mercy of the sea in hopes that if you can’t help them, God might

vanessa

what would be a better plan in your opinion bc like the other person said the fire or exploding them doesn’t kill them all and it doesn’t completely kill them either. you expect them to put explosives into that entire quarry in the hopes it would take out the entire bunch at once? doing that would probably cause a bunch of the rocks to collapse as well as making the trucks fall anyways which was inevitably going to happen and in the episode it showed when he was telling them the plan the truck happened to fall off the side at that moment. so even if the used bombs there still would have been a good number of walkers alive they’d have to kill and not to mention the sound of the explosion would only draw more walkers over that weren’t even there yet. he created a very well thought out plan to just divert the herd away rather than wasting bullets, ammunition/explosives they will possibly need in future for defending themselves.. if ykyk

vanessa

ngl when glenn died i definitely stopped watching for years bc it genuinely affected me💀felt like someone in my family died and he was def a top fave character of mine since ep 1, him and rick. my favorites have changed slightly over the years, rick will always be number 1 to me but i still love glenn sm and seeing his death episode now hurts a lot less lol

UndergroundKing 1990

Bro we never seen you before you about to die is hilarious 😂

Truck

Gabriel left the gate open. Gabriel snuck out and put Judith, Michonne and Carl at risk when he came back. Don’t hate him but yeah he caused a few things 🙃

Ashleigh

He almost got everybody kicked out of Alexandria by deflecting his own self-hate

SRGC1978

I don’t know about Tyrese but I get your point. Gabriel is worse than T-Dog and Tyrese. At least they didn’t cry all the time. 🤣

Tyrademi

R.I.P. my pizza delivery guy Glenn. 🕊️ Everybody going THROUGH it this episode.

Hamza

rip glenn he was my favorite forreal

Shelly

“Good luck, dumb ass” this call back made me sob

Shelly

It’s easy to watch this show from the comfort of your couch and yell at someone in that situation to stop being terrified. Like bruh most of us even 6 seasons of this world would still be peeing our pants, sniveling and having constant panic attacks.

Shelly

Definitely saw some tears in those manly eyes

Shelly

I’ve taken huge breaks from this show due to it just being too harrowing but I always come back

Shelly

4 “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? 5 And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders 6 and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.’ Luke 15

Eric

Here comes the trauma

10k eez

I would rather have Tyrese, Noah, T-Dog and Bob over Gabriel but look who we stuck with 😂

Eric

@35:44 was that Greg Nicotero lol

Harmony

Has anyone already said that the actor playing Heath played Dr Dre in Straight Outta Compton.

jessica cantrell

🙄Dang Nickolas messing up everything 💜

Truck

That too! Yup

Crazy Taco

Michonne is the Giga Junt one of the best characters eve4 created

where_is_t

They really threw a Tyler Perry wig and some grocery store readers on Corey and said “yep, this looks like someone you’d meet in the apocalypse.”

SRGC1978

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Facts.

SRGC1978

Me too. I still haven’t finished the series. My daughter and I stopped at the end of Season 8.

Wolfy! Wolfi! Wolfé!

Defeating cowardice takes growth and control. I do think they can change. But I don't believe it takes supernatural intervention to grow. It takes humility. How do we deal with cowardice...I let them sit back. I woulda let him draw a map. But I think Glenn felt responsible.

Camillionaire

Gabriel set up Michonne, Carl, and Judy at the church when he snuck underground and brought dem Walkers back to the church. He also set up mistrust with Deanna in the Alexandia group projecting his own shame for the horrible things he did pre- Alexandria.

JM

Season 6 is underrated. So many twists and turns. That finale tho ✌️

KatZey

Just wanted to comment for the first time, but yall really make my day with the walking dead reactions, i love sitting down after a rough day, getting something to eat and watch yall's reactions. Hope you two enjoy the rest of the series as much as i did when i first watched it.

Ash Lee Can

He didn't set Michonne & Carl on purpose. That was an accidentally. He was looking for help because he was injured. He may have compromised them and their safety, but it wasn't intentional...

Camillionaire

He wasn't looking for help. They were secure in their location until Rick and the gang came back. Brotha Gabriel was trying to assuage his guilt. He wasn't ready to go out on his own. I think he wanted to make sure that the people he turned away really died. His guilt was eating him up. This was a very expensive mistake. Not only did he put himself in mortal danger. He brought that mob of Walkers back whether it was intentional or not. It was a very selfish decision that put Baby Judy, Carl and Michonne and mortal danger. He took away their sanctuary (No pun intended). He should've waited and talked to Rick. Someone could've gone with him so that he would know how to move and to move smarter.

Diary of a Dragon

I can completely understand what both Adison and Brandon are saying when it comes to cowardice. From Adison's point, a coward, under the right circumstances, can be molded into someone who learns to face certain fears head on instead of choosing flight everytime instead of fight. But from Brandon's point of view, being a coward is, in a way, a personality trait that can be masked so that others would believe that you are no longer a coward, but will show itself in extreme circumstances or situations thats most opportune for the coward like leaving someone for dead when it's just you and them, so noone would know you left them or in Nicholas' case, unaliving himself before finding a solution out of a tough situation. Cowardice was rooted within him. However, Nicholas did not get enough chances to root that cowardice out of him, so I almost dont even want to use him as an example.

Eric

yeah it looks like him

isthatchrisk

"He running like hes part of the main crew" lol leave Dr. Dre alone

Skyler

I agree with both of your stances on a cowardly person, and circumstances matter a lot for this topic imo. I think of the word coward and it is a negative trait a person has. There are many negative traits people can have in a zombie apocalypses situation, someone being narcissistic, arrogant, impulsive, indecisive, selfish, etc. And all these traits I think can also put others in danger. The arrogant or impulsive actions of a character can get someone killed as well, and we've seen it in this show. I study psych and I recently went to a retreat, it talked a lot about our journeys being aware of ourselves and inflicting change. The amount of people who don't really understand themselves is high, you can't expect change without the person being fully aware of themselves. With that being said, it takes a lot of time and practice, support from others helps even more. Glenn was that person for Nicholas, he was determined to make him aware of his actions and how who he is as a person is why people died. Harsh reality, but it is true. Change is hard, but it is not impossible. I did not particularly like Nicholas, but I do think if he had time, support, and the willingness then I think he could have changed that part about him and been a good asset to the group eventually. Love your reactions as always!

jasmin

lol a woman that will knock you out and hold you down!

jasmin

thankyou!smt i thought i was the only one daryl pissed off this episode

jasmin

not the dove😭

Tyrademi

LMAOOO, screaminnnn😭

TxMade🫶🏽

“A woman that’ll knock you out and hold you down?!” 😂😂🙌🏽🙌🏽 yess Michonne is a queen fr

revolves.round.AVA

I agree with your guys' stance on being a coward, even though I think once can change under the right circumstances. But I'm not sure if I agree with your chance on self deletion. In that moment, Nicholas, screwed Glenn and he should not have don't that right in his face. But I'm not going to mad at someone who deletes themselves (without getting other hurt) in these times, unless you have children or a spouse. Cause someone who is depressed and doesn't want to live anymore, cant fulfill that want, they're probably going to cause harm to others by not caring if they live or die.

Austin

* The title of the episode, "Thank You", refers to Nicholas' final words to Glenn before killing himself, thanking him for not killing him in S5EP16 "Conquer". * This episode was originally titled "Attacked". * The episode's exact runtime is 00:42:56. * Kenric Green (Scott) and Justin Miles(Barnes) are upgraded from "Co-Stars" to "Also Starring" in this episode. * Jason Douglas (Tobin) was credited in the episode despite not appearing in the episode nor being a series regular. He is mentioned several times by Rick, who attempts to contact him on the walkie-talkie. * This is the first episode in which Lennie James, Alexandra Breckenridge, Ross Marquand, Austin Nichols, and Tovah Feldshuh are credited but do not appear. * Glenn calls Rick a "dumbass" on the walkie-talkie, which is a reference to him calling Rick the same thing in the first episode. * Coincidentally, both episodes ended with Rick being trapped inside of a vehicle with a herd of walkers around him. * "We all have a job to do," the last words that Glenn said to Michonne before he went to find a way to distract the herd, are similar to the last words that Maggie said to Beth, "we've all got jobs to do." * As of this episode, Owen is the last remaining Wolf alive due to Rick killing Nick and the rest of the retreating Wolves. * The events of this episode occur concurrently with the events of S6EP2 "JSS". * There were scenes from the script that did not make filming, such as how Alexandria survivor Tommy met his grisly fate. He was in the woods when he heard a cry and tried to follow the sound but tripped and injured himself. After making it back to the road, he was overcome by walkers.

Austin

* During the scene where Glenn gets knocked into the herd by Nicholas' falling corpse, Glenn falls forward head first into the surrounding herd of walkers. However, during the devouring scene, Glenn's head is seen next to the nearby dumpster he was originally standing on top of. This is realistically impossible due to how he had originally fallen into the herd. * Also during the scene where Glenn gets knocked into the herd, when Nicholas shoots himself in the head, blood splatters all over Glenn's face. But when Glenn falls into the herd, the blood is gone. * Although not explicitly stated in the episode, it was believed that Nicholas had run out of ammo prior to being forced on top of the dumpster with Glenn, making his suicide act improbable. However, a deleted scene showed both Glenn and Nicholas counting their shots, with Nicholas saving his last bullet for himself. * Daryl's motorcycle brake lever is bent (presumably from being dropped) in one scene and appears not bent in the following scene.

In only 3 episode Season 6 already has more deaths than Season 5 at 47 compared to 46 respectively
