Yeah baby. Thanks for upload. I clicked so fast. Have safe fun 4th of July

Harmony

Right on time! Yay!💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾❤️

Austin Hogan

Most people don’t know in barricades, especially during medieval sieges the defenders would rub rotten meat and doodoo on the end of sharpen poles the event that somebody would stab themselves they wouldn’t survive due to the infection they still do this in the middle east with their weapons most soldiers nowadays have to be inoculated for anthrax as a preventative measure in a zombie apocalypse like this, all you would have to do is coat your weapons walker blood just a scratch someone you don’t even have to kill them The bacteria will do the rest

Rindamarie

exactly. Morgan needs to keep moving and living alone to maintain his philosophy. He won't see the consequences of letting dangerous people live.

Iris D

I skip this episode every time 😩😴

avery_berko

same🥲 not looking forward to watching this one i need 6x5 asap

courtney 🧚🏽‍♀️

FACTS, glenn is the realest. always has been always will be. his character development was *chefs kiss*👌🏽

Kimberly Weaver

One of my least favorite episodes but watching with the 2 of you made it a lot more fun. Thank you!

SonjaB29

The way my head dipped to the side with annoyance in unison with Adison and Brandon when they realized this episode was a backstory, Morgan’s backstory. 😂 I skipped this episode on the rewatch. I love Morgan always a fan, but “I don’t need to see it” is how I feel about this episode.

Coco Walker

See, everybody judging the heck outta Morgan for not crashing out but he is literally the definition of the opposite of Tupac:"I AM a killer, so don't push me". Truth is this Morgan (same one that Rick,Michonne, and Carl met in his town) Would've been too dangerous. This journey was necessary for him and like I posted in a different comment section, out of everyone between OGsurvival group and Alexandria, his cause and affect is minimal. Rick,Carol, Tyrese, and even Glenn have more cause and affect deaths by way of bad decisions than Morgan...If we're keeping it 💯

Avishai

Glenn was a definitive "best of the bunch"

KING Guyton

Never forgave Nicholas for getting glenn killed

Coco Walker

Okay, so it makes sense when you're looking at one part of the picture but the truth is...With the fact that people are outnumbered by the dead, they are a resource you kill everybody just because they've done something against your survival but what they see as needed for theirs, who will be left? People that have managed to survive to a certain point in the apocalypse (with or without a camp or group)have ALL done questionable things to make it that far.Basically to go around killing people just because they come at you (especially out in the wilderness where both of you KNOW you have been less than 'kind and upright' for the sake of survival) is hypocrisy. Now, there are exceptions... Everyone can't come back from what they're doing but to Eastman's point of doing terrible things vs being evil: The Governor,Terminus,Teach 'em all the way group vs Merle,Carol, Gabriel,Eugene, and Rick...From season 1 up until now it's clear who goes into evil and who goes into just doing terrible things for the sake of survival...

Landon

All yall TWD super fans talking about “I skipped this episode”😂but then will get on here and say the show doesn’t start to fall off lmfao

CorsonDrax

Adison brother. Nobody could keep Lizzie around long enough to find a psychiatrist before she murdered more people. She'd be better off joining The Wolves. She wanted to kill Judith

CorsonDrax

None of these psychiatrists were close-by either. There was 0 way of maintaining her that long.

CorsonDrax

It's one of the best written episodes of the show.

CorsonDrax

No way you think 6x5 is better

CorsonDrax

6x4 is such a beautifully written episode. Changed my entire perspective on Morgan's philosophy.

Nicky A

The most dynamic character is Carol. By far.

DonnaRose

Just because people skip this episode or don’t like it doesn’t mean that the show has fallen off at this point. It is a jarring come-down after the events of the previous episode, where we want to find out what’s happening with the main group in present time. This isn’t a bad or poorly written episode imo, just poorly placed.

KING Guyton

Not to mention she was ready to kill judith

CorsonDrax

So the Wolf wasn't actually bitten. It was just an infection from a cut.

Landon

Exactly my point. It’s called boomerang storytelling and this is where the show literally starts to do it. It’s one of the main reasons the show starts to fall off. And if you’re purposely skipping an episode of a show then it’s not good😂plain and simple. If it was then you wouldn’t skip it.

SonjaB29

Has it ever crossed anyone’s mind that maybe Eastman is Cryton Dallas Wilton? That maybe Wilton saw himself in murderous Clear-Morgan and chose to tell the story, play acting as Eastman while still hiding his evil? That would’ve been a plot twist.

Rindamarie

I had that thought once

Chandra

She was definitely someone who would become a Wolf.

Shelly

Lennie James is up there with TWD’s best actors. He’s incredible.

Sam Bond

Bro still stuck on Lizzie 😭😭

Sasha

this will always be one of my favorite eps

Monica Avalos

I believe they're saying they skipped it on the re-watch. Not when it was the first time they could/did watch it. It's a good episode but there's really no need to rewatch it once you got the backstory.

Rindamarie

It's amazing watching people binge a show versus watching it when it aired. I find the trauma of episodes doesn't land as hard when bingeing. Having to wait another week to get back to the other characters was awful. My trainer and I were discussing Game of Thrones. He watched all 8 seasons in a week & hated how it ended. He asked me how it felt having invested 8 YEARS into the show. The ending made me feel I wasted too much time since I only allow myself 1 guilty pleasure show per week. This is a long-winded way of saying this episode is well done. But we are 2 episodes after Glenn fell off that dumpster. 5 years of investment into Glenn's character, and we don't know if he's dead dead or zombie dead. Are we going to see a zombie Glenn next week or what?! This episode aired in 2015, and I still feel a way about dumpsters & want to shank Scott Gimple (showrunner) if I ever see him. Now that binge-watching is a thing, I do wonder if show writers keep the binge factor in mind while writing for current shows.

Mikaevee

Its the surprise in 6x5 that they want to see

Hamza

this was a good episode after losing glenn. only thing that kept me watching

Jaci Henley

I need a goo goo cluster now... lol made in TN!

Jaci Henley

I think Eastman means (by 800+ and 1 evil person) there is only one was inherently evil. The others something happened to them.

Queen S

That's the fact she was growing up to bea little serial killer

Queen S

I understand that Eastman was a good guy and he taught Morgan some really good survival skills for his mental health but he is going to have to kill sooner or later because it's still some bad people out there the five people he let go tried to kill Rick so if he keep that mentality about not killing he's going to be responsible for a lot of death❤️

Sara Tucker

This! The episode before this is when I stoped liking Morgan. He’s actions of “not killing” the bad bad guys.. puts everyone else in danger.

Sara Tucker

I’m gonna need yall to post the next one 😅 pleasssee

Fellerz

I like to call these types of episode filler lol Good for showing us character development but not really important to the story

Cole hauser

Of all the people he interviewed only 1 of them was truly evil because the others were born with bad brains, got more and more sick as they went through life, or experienced a heavy traumatic event as he said. Creighton Dallas Wilton was the only true evil one because he pretended so he could get his way and for not getting his way he broke out to kill his entire family, then turned himself back in because he was always like that and knew what he was doing. Lizzie would’ve fell under the category of born with bad brains because she just couldn’t understand that walkers are dangerous and they don’t feel anything going as far as to kill her own sister to try and prove her incorrect point. Also, he saved Rick, which wasn’t a pointless act because Rick went on to bring his group all the way to Alexandria where Morgan is now. The rabbits foot actually did help him because when Eastmans daughter gave him it, the next day he found the flyer for aikido which is how he was able to save his own life when being choked to death by Creighton Dallas Wilton during his interview. Soon after Morgan leaves, he finds the path that’ll lead him to Rick. This is easily my favorite episode of the series and it speaks to the butterfly effect.

Crazy Taco

I belive the character Eastman who trains Morgan in Akido is a nod to the creator of the ninja turtles Kevin Eastman as he has a very splinter like essence and why he has so much turtle stuff

Alyssa Cartwright

GOAT cheese is delicious. Try the honey goat cheese from your local grocery store. It’s really tasty on triscuits.

KenthalasAT

You know it doesn't matter if you found Lizzie a psychiatrist, there's no cure for psychopathy, right? Well, I mean there's one cure... the one Carol used.

EliG

The butterfly effect. Powerful. But sometimes it turns on you. Like Morgan got more people killed - if he had just killed the first 2 Ws he met, all those Alexandria folk would be alive. So how do you weigh that in this "all life is precious" philosophy? Sometimes killing is the way to save good people. In a way, it's a selfish philosophy. It's a short game, but sometimes gotta play the long game. But I love the phrase "Everything gets a return." RIP brother Eastmann. Go join your wife and kids.

Jess Here

Personally, I think she had early onset schizophrenia. She would have only gotten worse. Especially in such an unstable environment and no routines. Plus, no medication. Her delusions would have continued to grow. She wasn't evil, just wired differently.

EliG

I love that that was how Eastmann spent his time - trying to make some decent goat cheese at the end of the world. The little things.

Sabrina

Even in the best of circumstances Lizzie's chance of significant improvement were slim. She unfortunately had zero chance in the apocalyptic world and I hate that for her. She had so much potential but too much to overcome to reach it.

KenthalasAT

I've known a few schizophrenics, I've never known one who vivisected animals or killed bunnies for no reason. Her "misunderstanding" the walkers seems to fit that, but not her violence or disregard for life. Those are pure psychopathy.

EliG

When Morgan was ranting and raving "you were supposed to" - I think he meant end his walker wife. He didn't. But he was supposed to.

Sabrina

They also wouldn't have regular access to any meds that would help her! She was never gonna make it

Sabrina

The AUDACITY to show a backstory immediately following Glen's dumpster scene is wild!

Cole hauser

That’s probably my favorite phrase. It’s all a cycle and everything gets a return🙏.

Cole hauser

I would say, Lizzie fell under the category of born with bad brains. She seemed to always be like that (dissecting animals I mean). The apocalypse just made it worse because no matter how much anybody told her walkers are dangerous she just couldn’t understand. So much so that she ends up killing her sister to prove her incorrect point and didn’t do it with hate or bad intention. She just didn’t believe anybody understood her but she was the one who wasn’t understanding anything.

Shelly

Morgan could’ve just as easily replaced Rick as the main character.

Wolfy! Wolfi! Wolfé!

I will join you in the shanking of Scott Gimple for oh so many reasons

Wolfy! Wolfi! Wolfé!

One of my favorite episodes, I love Eastman and Morgan so much ❤️ He means truly evil, as in born that way. Most people who do bad things weren't born that way

Rindamarie

my therapist heard about Gimple LOL.

Cleo Griffith

Adison and his teach him all the way every episode lol. I'm with you guys, this is 1 of my favorite episodes. We got to see how Morgan went from totally clearing to not wanting to kill people. Even tho this man is sitting up here in Michonne and Rick's community talking bout he's going to kill everyone even the kids, Morgan still wants to give him a chance. Not all like is precious, and this wolve person's life definitely isn't. R.I.P. Eastman and Tabitha. Eastman built the fence because Morgan took her room/cell lol. I love the way Eastman took care of Tabitha and now they're together forever. I don't know if you guys heard but that was Rick yelling at the end to open the gate Now. Keep pushing these episodes out Adison and Brandon, you'll are making good stride.

Jen M

I could tell yall really enjoyed this episode. Had me cracking up the whole time. 🤣 And Tabitha really was the GOAT! 😂

Wolfy! Wolfi! Wolfé!

The son and father were just wandering. I highly doubt they were searching for him.

Alec L

first one imma have to skip…can’t stand this episode

Wolfy! Wolfi! Wolfé!

My partner hates him second hand from all my ranting about him 😆 And Shawshank Redemption is one of his favorite movies so you know he is all about those Darabonte seasons

Cole hauser

Precisely, Creighton Dallas Wilton did what he did to Eastman’s family because he didn’t get his way and he knew what he was doing, but did it anyway because he’s always been that as a person. Whereas someone like Lizzie was simply born with bad brains and did what she did with no true bad intentions but just wanted them to understand her despite her being the one who didn’t understand the way of things. Rick exhibits somebody who was getting more and more sick as life went on for them (which since it’s the apocalypse and they were out there for a very long time and lost a lot before Alexandria it makes sense). While, Morgan was that one super traumatic event as the episode mentions that made him that way. Eastman and his values exhibit somebody from pre apocalypse normal society with base moral values but is willing to kill the dead but shows care to those he has, by giving them official graves while also admitting he is flawed (killing Creighton Dallas Wilton). I also agree with you and I’m willing to go a step further and say this is my favorite episode in the entire series🙏🙏🙏.

Remy

You put out walking dead every couple of days. Where’s Vikings? If you are not continuing it please let us know.

Truck

I agree. From things her sister said sometimes when she had “moments” her sister would help her through it. So maybe before everything Lizzie and her family were already dealing with things. Remember her sister said, I’m not messed up like her. So yeah

Shelly

The point Eastman was trying to make is itself a deflection—he doesn’t really think all life is precious but acting like it is saved HIM. He doesn’t regret killing his family’s murderer because the monster didn’t deserve it, but that it made his own grieving worse and stunted him emotionally. It all goes back to what he said about how humans hurt badly when they hurt other humans. It isn’t good for our mental health to be a killer.

xxtccyunno

nah fr we all grew up making homemade stuff outdoor diy grilling wit rocks sticks and a metal grate frm my bbq grill . good ol days

Coco Walker

I wouldn't go that far to say she couldn't be brought to the other side of things...I think the facts the writers (and Carol)were trying to get our focus on was that too many people would've had to die before even a pinprick of light could be seen at the end of that tunnel...Had she not killed Mica, they would've been right there with the group and many of us watching wouldn't have had too much of an issue with the sacrifices that would've been made to keep her and Mica alive because we wouldn't have known just how dangerous she was...Just like Carol, many of us watching knew she was off...But her ability to be active when it was critical made us discount how dangerous to EVERYONE she truly was...Until Mica. Look at the flowers, happened when it did because of the dire straits they were in as a subgroup with an infant and the sudden knowledge that any work on her mental was beyond what Carol or Tyrese could do or had time to. Leaving her there to go get the others was the same as killing her or the next group of people to find her and take her in. But had there been a for sure way to get the group back together and take her along "safely" it would've been done.

Coco Walker

I'm not sure that I'm willing to say "yes" on Lizzy being a psychopath. I'd probably say it's more likely that she had a mental breakdown that was never properly dealt with...And certain behaviors became her normal. She clearly suffers from anxiety and panic attacks I'd probably web MD her as manic...Not saying psychopaths can't have anxiety or also display mania, but I'd put money on her distorted beliefs coming about after mom got got and spending time in Woodbury...Where they literally taught the people that Walkers were entertainment and they'd feed them to make sure they didn't go dormant before the 'show'.She gives mentally broken, she does give crazy without valid reasoning but, it's not from a selfish, or purposely malicious place... She was just a child with untreated trauma and a mental break that morphed beyond anything that the people caring for her could or knew how to handle...Maybe psychiatric help could've helped...I think the focus and point the writers wanted us to focus on was the fact that with her killing Mica, whatever was wrong with her had gotten beyond hoping for the best, there literally was no time for healing her mental to take priority... without the rest of group, to protect Judith, and anyone else who may have found her if they'd left her... Putting her down was the only responsable thing they could do in that moment with the facts they were working with.

Melinda

I wish Brandon watched stuffed alone sometimes....

Tyrademi

Adison and Brandon, since this is the most dragging episode of TWD for me 🫣, I had to skip this one. It’s the one episode I just can’t watch a second time. No offense to y’all — I love y’all and left a like. ❤️ I’ll be tuning back in for 6x5!

Sabrina

There isn't anything that could be done for her, even if Lizzie were with the entire group. I've been working in the mental health field for 15 years, working with adolescent/adult patients in acute crisis! I don't think I'm special or anything, I'm only saying that to say I'm not just giving my opinion! It's a fact. She would require the right mix of psychiatric medications for the rest of her life, as well as specialized therapy and a locked and secure unit where she doesn't have access to items she could use to harm others. Their environment is constantly changing and therefore unable to keep it safe enough for Lizzie. Eastman being a psychiatrist is great, sure, but psychiatrists only prescribe medications. They don't do therapy. If he doesn't have medications, there's not much he can do for her.

Queen S

I'm with both of you for soooo many reasons

gayjinchuriki

That thought literally crossed my mind. Plus like he mentioned, Wilton was so damn charming and easy to like.....

Ash Lee Can

Now y'all see why he can't kill people. I feel.like people forget what Clear Morgan was like. It would be a trigger for him and where he's trying to killing anything and everything moving. We saw him trying to to rob & kill Rick, Carl, & Michonne. Sure he snapped out of it but would you want someone like that around? Where his PTSD can literally turn him against them? I would rather him just not kill if that means sacrificing his sanity and having the Clear Morgan problem on our hands. If he couldn't stay there, I would at least maybe put him in a house or building a few miles out where he's in the postion to be considered safe. That way he could still be part of the community, but everyone else could be in the position where they could feel safe to sleep at night. I wouldn't want him cast out and ostracize him for trying to hold onto to his sanity. He didn't have it for a very long time. He was alone for a very long. He's just trying to survive like everyone else. He just went through some REALLY bad sh-. He didn't get to have the luxury of a community to hold onto and keep him together that allowed not slip as deep as he did into the darkness. Rick could have easily turned into Clear Morgan himself if he didn't have his people. Then Morgan found Eastman who helped put the pieces of a broken man back together, after being shattered for so long, and his PTSD unintentionally got him killed. The closest person we've seen in that dark place to that was Michonne(Rick somewhat after Lori but it last led about two episodes and then he met Michonne right after), but you can absolutely tell that despite the dark place Michonne was lost likely in during her mysterious, hooded figure era after ahe lost her child, she wasn't as deep in as Morgan got. at least for not as long as Morgan did because he was still in it by the time they met for the first time, and she was in a FAR better place than he was. She at least had Andrea and then eventually #TeamPrison/Family. Until he found Eastman, Morgan's basically alone this whole time, except this time he had hope for something better for himself and to find his dear friend. Now here he is...

Ash Lee Can

I want a pet goat so bad. They are genuinely just unintentionally funny animals. Gost screams alone just sound hilarious lol...

Ash Lee Can

To be fair, Morgan used to say the same thing the wolf used to say about having to kill people. He even said it to Eastman this very episode and literally tried to do it. He still got better...

Ash Lee Can

This is also one my favorite episode. It's such a tragically beautiful story and Morgan is definitely one of my favorite character in the series. There's just so much depth in that character. Morgan DEFINITELY has had the biggest transformation. He literally went from one EXTREME to the other. He went from killing everything and everyone in sight to not killing anything or anyone at all. That's wild...

jessica cantrell

😊was wondering if you all was going to like this episode 💜 some people love it me personally 👎🏼

Shelly

Exactly! The point Eastman was making was not that you shouldn’t kill because the person you murder doesn’t deserve it, but because YOU don’t deserve to be a killer

UndergroundKing 1990

You think it can work that way with me? The spear thru the throat yes 🤣

Coco Walker

Forgive me for saying it: Doctors(of any kind) are only people, not God...Most of them realize that everyone isn't the same...Thus experiments/new techniques still happen...Pulling out real life experience to rebuttal a comment under a walking dead reaction is...Wow. But, since you did... Let's start with the fact that facts(medically speaking)aren't always so... I'd know, because I now as an adult do therapy and my traumatic experiences AND inherited issues are such that I'm not supposed to be able to function without being heavily medicated. And I'm talking trauma that happened before I was 10, and more that happened after from seeing death, losing a sibling, and having severe manic/disassociative episodes and being on the boarder of certain mental issues...By your experience and expertise I'd also be a lost cause...Except. I'm not, I grew up and then was able to seek help for myself(I mean I scared myself that's why but the point is I didn't get treatment as a child or teen for anything).People forget that kids are very very very mentally resilient and can grow up to be decent adults even with delayed 'treatment'. No, children shouldn't have to be, but I know for a fact that as a child I went through things that would bring a lot of adults to their knees or push them past a point of no return as far as mental fitness. So there being NO way to walk Lizzy back from the edge of whatever was going on in her mind is a hill I'd die on because literally it was the circumstances of her mental break and not the fact that she had one that made Carol shoot her.

Sabrina

? I agreed already that it's Lizzie's circumstances that kept her from getting better. That circumstance being the apocalypse. There are no conditions under this circumstance where she could be helped. If it was the real world, then yes. You believe if the group was there, she could be saved. I don't. I am bringing my real world experience into my opinion like most people do, so I'm not sure why that's "wow" for you. Also not sure why you took that personally and assumed I would think your situation can't be treated. I didnt say that so please don't put words in my mouth. Unless you are a 12 yr old girl who killed her sister and wants to be friends with walkers in a zombie apocalypse, then I'm clearly not talking to you. Also, I guess our convo is done bc I can't possibly have a rational discussion with someone who believes that "facts (medically speaking) aren't always so" because yes they are. But you and I are giving our opinions, not scientific facts. I dont care if you change your opinion. I'm simply doing what people do in a comment section? Your response to this whole thing was weird. This is supposed to be fun discourse and dialogue but now you've irritated me so 👋🏾 won't be responding or reading any follow up comments

💜 Hannah 💜

Adison don't get a goat, get a GEEP!!! they are so cute. 🐐 +🐑 = 💓 goat mixed with a sheep 😁

"Even if your allergic you'll be safe" got me Rollin mad I'm on pc can't use emoji's

Morgan be having that shit on too, lets keep it 💯

Austin

* The title of the episode, "Here's Not Here", comes from a line spoken by Eastman to Morgan after he is bit. * It may also be a reference to Morgan's mindstate. * The episode's exact runtime is 01:04:38. * This is the second episode where only one series regular appears as well as the second episode to make no mention of Rick Grimes. However, Rick's voice is heard at the end of the episode. * This episode featured several dialogues used in previous episodes. * Morgan's words to Eastman as they talk by the graves, "Sit down before you fall down", are the exact same words Morgan said to Rick while nursing him to health in S1EP1 "Days Gone Bye". * Morgan also tells Eastman "Don't ever be sorry", which is what he told Carl Grimes in S3EP12 "Clear" when he apologized for shooting him. It is later repeated by Owen when he's trying to try to intimidate Morgan. * Eastman's words to Morgan during their talk in the cabin, "Because I believe that all life is precious", are the exact same words Morgan himself said to Daryl and Aaron when he rescued them in S5EP16 "Conquer". * Additionally, Eastman also says "Everything gets a return", the exact same words that Morgan also said to Owen in "Conquer". * Eastman also says "sorry" to Morgan before knocking him out with his staff just as Morgan said to Owen in S6EP2 "JSS". * Steven Yeun's name is removed from the opening credits, due to Glenn Rhee's presumed death in the previous episode. * This is the first episode to be told as a narrative as Morgan tells the story of the events between S3EP12 "Clear" and S5EP1 "No Sanctuary" to Owen.  * In S5EP8 "Coda", when Morgan reached Father Gabriel's church, he put 3 things on the altar: Eastman's rabbit's foot, a pack of Goo Goo Clusters, and the bullet that the woman gave Morgan. This episode shows where he got these items. * This is the first episode to take place in Georgia since S5EP8 "Coda". * Along with Crighton Dallas Wilton, the names on the tombstones are shown to include Joleen Mara, Tyler Mathis, David Basher, Barry Mardole, and Katherine Rudin along with at least two Jane Doe's and a John Doe. * Eastman learning the names of the walkers is similar to what Rick Grimes and his group did in S1EP2 "Guts" with Wayne Dunlap.

Austin

* During the scene where Morgan and Eastman fight and break the child artwork that is hanging on the wall, the broken artwork isn't seen on the floor at all in the following scenes, until Eastman looks at it on the floor.

chao_2x (ABZ💙)

I hated this arc of Morgan lmao He was so annoying 🤣

Didymus

So now we think anyone who has committed a crime is evil. After watching up to this point I’m beginning to think someone in these reactions is evil.
