I believe Morgan played and part in carol not wanting to kill and I wonder if carol was really hyperventilating... remember on season 1 when they went to the cdc place and she realized they were underground... one of them said shes claustrophobic

Adison I know that you don't like that our group killed those people in the way that they did neither do I but the savers are deplorable but the title of the show was we're in the same boat.I like the way they were calling Carol little bird they had no idea the hawk was in the room and I did like Molly she was funny where are you magnolia 😂😂 well another one bites the dust and we're getting really close the episodes that gives me serious anxiety attacks 🥺🥺

You should download the app called discord... if you download that app and link it to your patreon, you would be able to watch them when they go live with the episodes... I watched them when they went live reviewing s6e15, s6e16 and s7e1... next time they go live they'll be on s7e2... trust me, they're reaction on s7e1 is definitely worth it

It wasn't cuz Maggie is pregnant and it surely wasn't cuz of Sam.. Carol has just reached her psychological limit and she doesn't want to kill anymore..

I think Morgan's "all life is precious" is infiltrating Carol's mind. She's killed 20 people. Getting to her head. And then there's the trauma she inflicted on Sam! And on Jesse too. She ran to Rick saying - we know how this ends and what not. Pushing Rick to kill Jesse's husband. Carol has a lot to answer for.

I think at the end Rick asked the guy which place Negan was at and since he was at both (was there when they attacked and then when they captured him they took him with them) Rick took that as we’ve had Negan in our possession the entire time. I do think that Carol should’ve said something about how the two women said they were all Negan because that would’ve made them think more about just how many people the saviors have and how big of an influence and threat Negan truly is if everybody is calling themselves his name

Yeah I believe he reminded her of a part of herself. I think she was both trying to play the game but some of that hyperventilating and sadness was real she didn't want to kill. Morgan be all "take my stick Sister, I'll show you the way" 😆

This episode is so incredible for Carol. She is such a goat, she can psychologically scope and analyze everyone, craft and play a role, be undercover, disarm and undo her combatants with psychological warfare and game playing, all while basically taking a mental health day pause, and pondering some Morganesque questions for herself, truly feeling badly, wondering, hmm, have I killed too much now? I really don't want to. Disarming her captors, without any weapons, takes so little effort, and only part of her brain. I am simply afraid of what I'm gonna have to do to you. I'm giving you a chance. But, if you cross that line, it's on. And, when Carol goes home, she'll have made up some new recipes too. Water chesnuts, anyone? (The piece de resistance is when she imitates Paula's voice near the end.)

I wish I had known how discord worked than I would be caught up instead of having to wait until they post over here on Patreon. I hope they post soon on patreon so it balance out with discord. Not everyone can always catch lives and since they can’t play back we patiently waiting.

Carol is not complicated, She will do anything to to protect the people she cares about, but the killing that she has to do to keep them safe is killing her, I think she feels more guilt over the people she has killed or even not been able to keep safe than anyone on the show, but she will put her own mental health on the line to protect them

I agree, but I do you think Sam had a big part in that?, I don't think it's just how many people she's killed, are some of them? I think weigh on her heavier than others like Sam and Lizzie and Mika not being able to keep her safe

I think a lot of what happened with Carol and Sam was her trying to keep him at a distance, she has had a lot of trauma and grief when it comes to children, and as far as Jesse's husband goes, we know like Carol had a big problem with that

I love how they drew parallels between Maggie & Carol and the two women, as if the latter were meant to be a reflection them. Like they are what Maggie & Carol might have turned into if they'd ended up with Negan instead of Rick. Kinda like how Morgan was a reflection of the path of Rick's mental state was in at the time in season 3, and/or who Rick very well could turn out like if be lost his wife AND his child(ren) the way Moegan did. I love when storytelling does stiff like that...

Carol is a clown, she should have died in the first season like she did in the comics. I’m with Rick all the way this season, kill em all. He tried to be the good guy many times before and lost too many people by doing so.

Osafa I liked you until you said Maggie and Rick would be better together. That is why you need to go back and watch from the start to understand the dynamics of everyone in TF. Don't be trying to push Michonne out the way and put Maggie in there now, It's Rick and Michonne since S3 and Maggie and Glenn since S2 don't get it twisted boy, ok I'm off of my rant now. I've always enjoy this episode because out of all the new people I actually liked and enjoyed the Molly character. R.I.P. Molly. Carol was putting on a show from the moment she got captured. And it worked because Paula and her people let their guard down and they fell for Carol's act. Also Adison we can't keep everyone alive, we don't have anywhere to keep them or food to feed them, Primo had to go. I'm pretty sure Rick asked him questions that we haven't seen and all Primo can say is we're all Nagan, so he had to go.

I don’t think the ending was a dumb kill. Literally the guy made it clear with the last thing he said that he was not willing to provide anything, no info. That was clear when he stated the stupid im Negan BS. And Rick knew that, so he ended it. Not wasting time.

i think she has that “gift” or power due to being in an abusive relationship. you have to pretend and behave a certain way to survive. she had to learn ed’s moods and facial expressions, etc. it made her extremely observant and basically a chameleon. carol knows how to survive end of story.

* The title of the episode, "The Same Boat", comes from when Molly says to Carol, "I'm a dead woman walking... which puts us in exactly the same boat". * It could also refer to the similarities between Paula & Carol, and Michelle & Maggie. * The episode's exact runtime is 00:42:52. * The zombified Paula at the end of the episode was portrayed by another actor, as there wasn't enough time to get Alicia Witt made up as a walker. * Carol burning the remaining Saviors alive marks the first time she has killed others in such a way.

* When Rick lifts Primo off the ground at the start of the episode, his bullet wounds have vanished despite being present in the previous episode. * In the previous episode, after Rick says over the walkie, "Come on out, let's talk", Paula answers right away. In this episode, she takes several more seconds before answering. * Paula kills a walker by stabbing it in the neck instead of the head.
