Love the discussion about “Lameness”. I can see all points, a person with questionable morals and standards, but on Adison’s side, I would like to believe a person can change and remake/improve themselves. But it takes effort and the willingness to see the Truth about themselves and the world around them, even if it makes you uncomfortable.

Me personally, the world is too small. These saviors are gonna come by eventually and the hiltop told us they are very lethal and violent. I agree with brandon, it is defense. Although i also agree with Adison in that there are most certainly gonna be repercussions. But what Adison isnt considering is that with a community that subjugates others around it, our only option is to run away to another part of the country. And that's just dumb.

I'm with you Adison with a lot that you were saying that was not cool Herschel wouldn't have allowed that. I don't agree with them going and killing a bunch of people in their sleep that they know nothing about now those creepy pictures on the wall said a lot about the saviors, it really hurt me and I actually cried when Glenn killed that person because that's not Glenn the look on his face and he cried as he did it that was something really deep and very hurtful for me. I love my group ,Rick has been through a lot and he changed since season 1 he's on his shane right now and he has been for a while the world they live in is hard to have scruples it's hard to have morals the people with the morals end up dead Herschel Dale T dog this episode gave me so much anxiety... that was a really bad idea as far as it goes I know he always talking about we got to come for them before they come for us but this (ONE)😭😭😭😭 and by the way you have a nice voice Adison❤️

I totally agree with you 100%, they should have scouted they shouldn't have just taken someone's word for that they don't know I mean Paul already told them that they killed the 16 year old boy that should tell you something about these people that you going up against I love my group and I always defend Rick but that was wrong on so many levels and I really wish I could say something without giving away a spoiler

I do agree with scouting a few more days but the idea of “they aren’t killing them in their sleep” or “they aren’t good guys” is foolish to me. Of course you attack your enemies when you least expect it. That is quite literally how battles are fought. They have the advantage so they pressed it. Why wait for the saviors to show up at your door like Woodbury did? I do think they rushed the plan because the saviors were expecting a response from the Hilltop sooner rather than later regarding Gregory.

Addison there is no difference between killing someone, and killing them in there sleep. You are still killing people either way. And Brandon was right, if you don't have the will to kill in the apocalypse you will die that is the end of it, and Glenn is willing to kill, so yes because of the people around him he has yet had to kill, but in that episode he finally had to. And also biker group who pulled up on them, there first interaction with the saviors got killed, the saviors knows that a group didn't return, which means something happened or ran into conflict, so they are already on alert for another group, so yes they would have advantagely found Rick's group, and ricks group would have been on the defensive again, so this time they decided to attack first. Every character we meet who has survived this apocalypse is not a good person, it just isnt possible to survive in this world without doing something morally bad.

I like Abraham w/Sasha, but it was foul the way he broke up with Rosita. She deserves better. She had been rocking with him for a long time. Abraham should’ve given more of an explanation, told Rosita in detail what he wanted. I like Abraham and Sasha as a couple but not the way it went down. Not Sasha’s fault but Abraham should have handled that better.

Abraham and rosita got together because Abraham felt like rosita was the only woman around when they got together so he was probably sexually attracted to rosita on the other hand Abraham and Sasha connected on a different level... they were emotionally and physically attracted to each other... rosita and Sasha are 2 very beautiful women so idk why Abraham broke up with her the way he did... he made it personal by saying what he said... I didn't care too much for rosita around this time anyway so i didn't really care too much about it at first.... I didn't start liking her until season 7 after she had a heart to heart with Sasha cause for a very long time rosita hated Sasha for what Abraham did to her... I don't even think Sasha and rosita were even close for Sasha to owe her any loyalty, that's my opinion on that.. Abraham was still foul though

I get what Brandon’s saying — if Negan can get people to give up half of what they own, he must be a tough cookie to deal with. But when Rick’s group saw Hilltop, they thought: “We’re not like them — we can handle ourselves.” I wouldn’t want to be in Rick’s shoes, LOL. With so many lives at stake, there’s no “right” choice. Daryl, Abraham, and Sasha had already crossed paths with them — it was bound to escalate. Besides moving to another state, there’s no preventing it.

I mean, we've had some within our own group with what some may consider foolishness. I completely understand what Adison's saying. You can't storm into a building to murk a bunch of people you don't even know(don't even know which are even good or bad. Just slaughtering them all) and still act like you're the good guy. Like there could literally be people in there just trying to survive and mind their business, and they get marked by some random self righteous strangers over food because of what they THINK you've done. Like damn. Can we at least try to get some confirmation and scout first? Try to do a little something like, I don't trying to identify people to at least kmow how many are in there, for one. Sooner or later Negan was going to come across Alexandria. These people is out here patrolling the streets looking for communities and what they can take from them. Adison I'm with Rick and TF 100% and like Ofasa and Brandon said it's about US. These people are not good people as you've seen from the biker group on the road and the pictures these people have of bashed in heads on the wall. And also if Glenn was with another group he definitely would be dead, because he hadn't kill anyone, Rick Michonne Daryl Carol and even Maggie have all killed so he didn't have too. I like Abraham but I didn't like what he did to Rosita. Morgan was building a prison to housed bodies. Like who was going to feed and watch his prisoner? Especially since we don't have enuff food for everyone. TF women is strong willed, it's why Maggie went, Glenn couldn't stop her so I know she wouldn't have listened to Rick.

@Tyah Im black and ill say if race is a factor in some of their decision making, this isn't the show for them at all... almost EVERYBODY on this show is with someone of a different race... as far as michonne and Rick, all I've seen were people that were happy about them getting together... I know there are people behind the keyboard that will never show their face probably had an issue with it but like I said, this isn't the show for them if race is a factor in them disliking them together

Yeah I found Adisons argument disenguous, he's talking like we know nothing about this group but we saw how they approached Daryl, Sasha, and Abraham. The Hilltop told us that they pulled up on them and killed a kid to send a message and takes all of their stuff. Its a group of bad people and/or people that are willingly associating themselves with bad people

Anyone who can extort their enemies to kill their own leader, like what almost happened with Gregory is legit a super villain. I'm with Rick on this one but I couldn't care less for the wellbeing of hilltop, Paul or Gregory. But the way Rick presented the mission to the group made it sound like they were becoming bounty hunters fr, and that's something Rick has NEVER been good at. Every time Rick tells some goofies 'we gotta get nasty' he makes it sound like a choice and doesn't call it what it is.

In case you read this, there was a part where everyone was talking, and it's important to know that Carol was trying to track her kills then, writing down names, descriptions...she thinks she killed 18. We all know it's more than that cuz her actions took down Terminus but no one knows the number of Terminus who died in total that day. She is feeling the mental weight of it all like Morgan was saying in the group meeting. Morgan reminds her that she feels the pain and weight of killing people and I think part of why she hid is because she felt Morgan was somewhat right about people being able to change and that hit her hard in the gut shooting that wolf and watching him save Denise. It doesn't mean she believes the all life is precious mantra but there is an in between that is really troubling her and weighing her down. Thank you for all your thoughts :) you all make me think about things from various angles and it's a great experience ❤️

I get what Brandon’s saying. Theres a difference between being lame handling your business to get stuff done or get what you genuinely want. Doing something for the sake of an outside force possibly showing you approval for it, is lame. Your identity should be who you are and not what you want people to like about you.

Carol is misunderstood. Yes, she’s an A-grade killing machine, but only when she needs to be. Carol kills because circumstances force her to, and when they do, she doesn’t hesitate. She goes for the jugular and gets it done cleanly. On an ordinary day though, that’s not who she wants to be. That’s exactly why this episode opened with scenes of her quietly collecting acorns and baking. That isn’t Carol being "unlike herself" like Adison said. That IS Carol, or rather who she's trying to be. She’s tired of the bloodshed, of the violence. She's trying to hold onto a version of life that isn’t defined by survival mode. So when her "clean" life gets disrupted and she’s once again forced to kill, the blood on her shirt isn’t just literal. it’s symbolic. It marks the end of peace, not just for her, but for everyone. To me, that’s the core message of this episode: Things had been quiet, peaceful, but now, once again, they’re being dragged back into the mess. Anyways, this was a tough episode. I agree with Adison though (strangely enough), Rick and the team attacking people randomly like that is a big NO from me. They're no longer the good guys. Seeing Glenn lose a part of himself like that was sad and painful to watch. My fave character. That Hozier song towards the end was beautiful!!

Nah, making the argument that Glenn is not a good man and got off easy in this world after everything that man's done (and he was pretty young when this a kicked off, early 20s), but that he would be dead without Rick, as if Rick wouldn't have been dead by season 1, Episode 2, if Glenn didn't save Rick is crazy lol. Our literal introduction to Glenn was him contacting a random man he doesn't even know trapped in a tank surrounded in an almost impossible escapade situation, to save his life BY HIMSELF, and did, when he could have jist went back to Andrea and rhem inside the building lile, "Ayyo, this cowboy just rode in a on a horse, got his horse killed, then got himself trapped in that tank outside. It was wild," and went about his business, he would have been every bit of justified in doing just that. About 99% of people would have. Rick most likely wouldn't do that for a stranger at this point in his life, but Glenn still would to this day because at the end of the day, that's just who he truly is at the core, no matter what he's gone through. How many people have he saved and taken care of, even when he would have been justified in not doing it? Tara? He not only saved her and got her to help him, but he even covered for her with Maggie. Nicholas? That man got Noah killed and tried to murder Glenn himself, and he STILL saved him, covered for him, and even tried to work with him so much all the way til the end. Even when they were trying to escape Terminus, it was Glenn who tried to save other prisoners from the other carts, when Rick wanted to leave them behind. He's only had a few rage, but outside season 3 after the Governor incident, he's never had one where he straight up was ready and even he'll enter on catching a body... Addison was right Glenn wasn't just innocent. He wasn't lucky. He genuinely was not just a good man, but a great man, and not just in the standards of an apocolyptic world. Like Glenn said about T Dogg, "He wasn't just a good guy. He was the best".

Also, we met several people (Dwight, Sherry and Tina) who were running from this group who they called 'batshit' and clearly didn't think they were good people. We have multiple instances to show who these people are. We know Team Family isnt going out killing random communities for no reason and certainly not under Rick's name. So what do they think kind of people these saviors are when they openly admit to killing people at random to make you fall in line and take all your resources? When another community told us that these saviors showed up shortly after they made Hilltop, killed a child in front of them brutally (and as we saw with those pictures, it was gruesome), and threatened to kill them all if they didn't give them half their stuff. Also Hilltop says they trade with other communities. Who know who else Negan has under his thumb, the point is, the saviors are not good people and it's been made clear they aren't. Why are they the bad guys for striking before getting struck? They were already targeted for no reason, we've seen how groups find Alexandria before (Wolves). They would have eventually found them, and like they said, without proper resources, they'd have lost. So you'd father they be on defense and risk losing and getting killed than trying to take out a threat before it takes you on? You know even in war they have preemptive strikes.

Rewatching was tough. This is was a horrible misstep by the group. At the end of the day our group was in survival mode and didn't want to wait for another attack. There is no such thing as a good guy in an environment with no regulations. It's the Wild Wild West. Nobody is safe.

Well said! One thing to add though. If the roles were reversed I believe Rick would have saved Glenn if he was the one in the tank. The only difference at this point is Glenn knew more apocalypse than Rick. Rick being in the hospital made handicapped with the knowledge on to deal with this situation.

While I agree with Addison about the harshness of striking first the fact is Negan's group has already attempted to get at our group. They had every intention of taking Daryl, Sasha, and Abraham back to Alexandria to take over and kill to get compliance. Daryl took out 6 or 10 of Negan's henchmen so that definitely didn't go unnoticed and they are probably tracking the group as we speak. The error is in not investigating first to get the full details on Negan's group and frankly the cockiness in their ability to handle anything that comes their way.

I agree that they were the aggressors for sure. But what happens next doesn't happen mostly because of this attack. It would've happened regardless because it was only a matter of time before the Saviors found Alexandria and tried to terrorize and enslave them like they do every other community they encounter. When Abe and Daryl and Sasha ran into the group of them, first when they were hunting Dwight and co and then on the way back to Alexandria in the fuel truck, they were less than maybe around 30-40 miles from Alexandria. The Saviors were branching out going farther and farther finding new victims. It would've happened regardless. (only difference is maybe some things would've been drawn out a little more or played out a little different. but I think the end results would basically be exactly the same, more or less)

Yep. If Morgan would've killed those two wolves who attacked at tried to take and kill him the first time they encountered him, the wolves likely would've never found Alexandria. At least not for a lot longer and then maybe at least Rick could've had the ppl of Alexandria more trained and prepared for an attack, had some more protective measures in place. But Morgan didn't and that came back to get us. Negan was coming either way.

They are worse than bullies, they are monsters who straight-up enslave communities and people. They take and take and literally give nothing back in return. And if you stop and look at those photos, there's at least 20 of people they've killed. So, if that's the 'one person' they do it to every time they find another group to take over, then it means they've done this to at minimum, 20 groups. That's crazy, potentially hundred of people terrorized, starved, tortured by them. Not good people at all. Clear to see how they are.

He didn't cheat, but I almost think that's purely because Sasha didn't partake in anything with him while he was still technically with Rosita. so good on Sasha for that. Ya they talk and stuff, but she didn't mess around with him. And I get it, people change, want new things, I'm not angry at Abe for realizing he didn't have desire for a longterm future with Rosita. I HATE how coldly and cruelly he just crapped on her as he was leaving. She was so loyal to him, she definitely didn't deserve that at all. He was rude and nasty and that was uncalled for. I like Abe but I lost a little respect for him in that moment.
