Keke

This has been my favorite series reaction so far.

Keke

Christina is the original body so William is just her male counterpart/alias; the man whose body she colonized 🥴.

Keke

Yes there’s a book called The Negro Motorist Green Book and it was to help Black travelers navigate America during Jim Crow. I think it’s still frequently updated today.

Nina

I mean, I don't have an issue with my spouse being attracted to a different gender. As long as they're attracted to me, too! 😉😂

Skrappy

Everything in this show has a historical reference. So the "green book" definitely existed in those times, the woman on the bike was based on a real woman, etc. Everything has meaning....

Hanna

So bummed only one season what a show! Plz peep Watchmen as well

Nina

This is probably my favorite episode. Hippolytas justified anger feels so cathartic! I also think her idea of freedom does not mean freedom from responsibility, it means freedom to choose your own path, even if it seems hard or foolish. Being a mom and staying home doesn't make you feel small, the choice being taken away from you does so.

Hanna

I'm sure it's much more than 2 3 days time moves differently wherever she's going

Hanna

So know fellas was real female fighters too too "The Dahomey Amazons were a real historical military regiment in the Kingdom of Dahomey, a West African kingdom (now Benin). They were known for their exceptional combat skills and were a formidable force, striking fear and admiration in those who encountered them."

Hanna

Well said

Facts!

Ashleigh

Black men went through so much horrible trauma and then passed it down to their sons and they passed it down to their sons …. Generational curses smh. Montrose’s father beat him and then he grew up and beat on poor Tic

Mon’a

She figured out how to turn on that machine by herself and you saying what would she have done? Shawty iq is up there!

Menia Battle

I was coming to comments to say this exact comment....

Chrissy S

Aunt Hippolyta’s like genius level smart.. She felt like she’d dumbed herself down and her husband let her. It’s sad that her husband’s passing is what thrusted her back into her intelligence..grief can make a person do all kinds of things! But she’s using her knowledge of astronomy to solve the orry puzzle, following the coordinates to know where the key should be used, getting the machine to work using calculations.. The main cast hasn’t told her anything and she’s using breadcrumbs to connect the dots! Put some respect on her name 😩😩Also, did yall notice in her discovery phase that she was wearing the same costume that Dee drew in the comic she gave her 😏 This is one of my FAVORITE series! Thank yall for the reviews! Giving me a chance to revisit it!

Lilith

When do they do the call out Patron supporters videos?

Angela Lenoir

There’s a map of sundown towns on the internet that is still updated frequently

Chelsea Turner

Craziest craving I've had during pregnancy was pickles with garlic salt and sugar 🙃

Liahky A

Kyoshi Thee Stallion

when i first watched this, this was one of my least favorite episodes. upon rewatching it with y’all, i realize i was kinda tripping lol. it was actually pretty cool.

Kyoshi Thee Stallion

Skrappy

Bessie Stringfield

"Original Green Book: Published annually from 1936 to 1967 by Victor H. Green, it was a travel guide for African-American travelers during the Jim Crow era, identifying businesses that were welcoming and safe for Black people. "

Ana

She wasn’t doing anything promiscuous though. She was dancing in a club around feminine energy

Only Zuul

This episode was one of my favorites. We are all surprised she got such an insane solo arc, but that's the point the episode is making. Why doesn't she deserve her time in the spotlight, even from the audience's POV? Also, just something I think may have been overlooked... it wasn't just about her wanting to go on trips with George. She has a scientific mind / is a genius. She named a comet, but they used a white girl in the announcement. It was about all the things she could have been, like an astronaut or physicist. This woman was speaking French! She was so smart and so sidelined. Great reaction as always!

Violet

I'm trying to mention Watchmen as much as I can! It's SO GOOD!!

Harmony

Yay!!!💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾❤️

Elle Clarice ❤️
