Hey EDN! I’m commenting this again because I don’t think you saw it the first time. It’s recommended that you watch the bonus episode “Flight 462” before starting season 2. It’s available on YouTube and it’s around 13 minutes long. It provides context for scenes in season 2 as well as gives proper introductions to certain new characters.

Guys, Liza who is Chris’s mom and Travis’s ex-wife, does not want Travis back. It’s simply just the right thing to do as a parent to bring the other parent along if you’re taking the child. Why?! lol the child will ask the parent “why didn’t you ask, get or bring whichever parent that is absent” that’s why. Nothing to do with wanting him in this example at least.

I forgot how short the first seasons were. I think after the first couple of episodes through Season 2 the show struggles to find its footing. Which they find in S3 with 3x12-13 probably being the best of the series imo. Can’t wait for you guys to get to them.

This. In Liza’s position I would of course want Travis to come with for the sake of their son. But I’d be like “Look this is how the situation is, I’m taking our son to this AF base. great episode i enjoyed season 1! i’ll rate this season an 8/10 i would be sick if my mom was gone and i didnt get to say goodbye i wish she wouldve let her son see her one last time knowing what happened and everything instead of just hearing a gunshot out of nowhere and seeing its ur mother on the otherside

The writing and acting in the first three seasons for Strand is amazing . He's Fear's Abraham but gentrified and cunning vs crass and stregnth. I would have loved to see a conversation between them
