To answer some of the Hypermesis Gravidarum questions, yes it can cause dental issues. Because of the vomiting and lack of nutrients, the stomach acid can cause tooth decay and woman have been know to have soft or brittle teeth afterwards. I had it with both pregnancies. The first time went hard for 17 weeks weeks. All I could find to eat was powerade, Kozy Shack rice pudding and ensure. With my second pregnancy none of those worked. I had no "safe foods" and ended up in the hospital after going without food for a month. I couldn't even hold down water. After it was curbed with medication, I only threw up first thing in the morning or if I was hungry till the end of my pregnancy. After baby is born, the vomiting stops. Some woman have it worse than I did and need to be put on feeding tubes and bed rest for the remaining of their pregnancy. No crackers and ginger ale don't work. HG is sadly under represented and understood. A lot of woman are forced to suffer through it and are even seen as being dramatic and overreacting at times. I honestly don't wish this disease on ANYONE!!

Throwing everything up while you are pregnant would be horrific, The baby takes any nutrients from any food you do manage to hold down, which means you get no nutrients, so yes, losing teeth is definitely possible, esp if it lasts for a while, I got sick pretty bad for a short while, but luckily it passed fast as I had twins

Few things : Time isn’t moving differently in the worlds. Victor has had a hard life so the stress of it has aged him. I think he’s supposed to be like close to 50 and his dad is supposed to be closer to 70 Donna wasn’t blaming Boyd for telling them they would all leave one day, she was blaming herself for hoping and believing it. also imo this is one of the saddest episodes. Kenny calling for his mom and her not coming out was heartbreaking. And watching Donna almost break down and then push it down and put that tough face back on was such powerful acting. I know every strong woman has had that moment where they want to crumble but know that if they do, they might not be able to pull it back together. So you put on the brave face instead

Fetus' literally leech the calcium straight from the mother's bones, including their teeth, which is why cavities and eventually toothloss is very common in pregnancy unless women take extra calcium via supplements. It's why prenatal vitamins are SUPER important to take when pregnant.
